Typical combustion instability such as DC-Shift found in the hybrid rocket motor is characterized by non-linearity. DC-Shift can occur in two different realizations. One is so-called a positive shift of measured DC voltage where the pressure increase suddenly. The other is a negative shift where the pressure drops abruptly. In the present work, specifically the negative DC-Shift was investigated to analyze the effect of oxidizer flow condition and the resonance between fundamental frequency and other ones, such as Helmholtz frequency, and acoustic frequency. Results show a peak frequency of several hundreds HZ shifts as combustion proceeds. A negative DC-shift was found as the result of phase cancellation between two dominant frequency, combustion frequency and flow related frequency. Still is it required to study further to identify the change of dominance of frequency during the combustion.
The increase of B-type hydrogen bonding character between the hydrogen atom($H{\gamma}$) of methylene group in 1-(phenoxymethyl)benzotriazole (1) and 1-(thiophenoxymetyl)benzotriazole (2) derivatives, and solvents was caused by some factors such as;electron withdrawing strength (${\rho} > 0$) of X-substituent; local diamagnetic effect by Y atom (Y = O(1) > S(2)) with adjacent methylene group; and solvent polarity parameter ($E_T$ = Kcal/mol; acetone; 42.2 > chloroform; 39.0). From the basis on the findings, linear free energy relationship (LFER) components on the substituent chemical shift of methylene group ($CH_2-SCS$) in (1) exhibited a tendency that resonance(R)-effect was much larger than field(F) (or inductive(I))-effect in acetone and that the electrical effects were depend upon the solvent.
Purpose: This study analyzes the relationship between work-life conflict and turnover intention among hospital nurses. Furthermore, it seeks to determine whether the relationship between the two varies depending on the shift work condition of the nurses. Methods: A total of 435 nurses working at five tertiary hospitals were included in the study. The questionnaire included items on turnover intentions, work-life conflicts, sociodemographic factors, working conditions, and internal and external resources. Results: The level of work-life conflict among shift work nurses was higher than that of non-shift work nurses. The turnover intention was also higher for shift work nurses than for non-shift work nurses. Results from the multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the work-life conflict of nurses had a positive relationship with turnover intention. The effect of work-life conflict on turnover intention was greater for shift work nurses than for non-shift work nurses. Conclusion: Work-life conflict had a greater impact on the turnover intention of hospital nurses working under shift work conditions. Based on this study's findings, it can be suggested that, in order to reduce high turnover intention, it will be necessary to make specific efforts to balance work-life conflict and improve working conditions.

In this paper, we analyze the thermal deformation of mask frame assembly using finite element method(FEM) and predict the beam landing shift during tube operation. For realistic analysis, the apparent thermal conductivity and the apparent elastic modulus are calculated and the shadow mask is modeled as shell without aperatures. Also, all parts inside the tube are modeled and the each radiative effect is considered. Then the finite element analysis is performed for transient thermo-elastic deformation of the mask frame assembly and the beam landing shift is calculated. Experiments are eprformed for 17" cathode ray tube (CRT) to validate the FEM analysis. The temperatures of all parts inside the tube and beam landing shift on the panel are measured and the results are discussed in comparison with the results of the FEM analysis.ysis.

Memory devices including SRAM and DRAM are very susceptible to high energy radiation particles in the space. Abnormal operation of the devices is caused by SEE or TID. This paper presents a method to estimate proton SEU cross section representing the susceptibility of the latch circuit that the unit cell of the SRAM and proposes a new latch circuit to mitigate the SEU. 50b shift register was fabricated by using the conventional latch and the proposed latch in $0.35{\mu}m$ process. Irradiation experiment was conducted at KIRAMS by using 43MeV proton beam. It was found that the proposed latch-shift register is not affected by the radiation environment compared to the conventional latch-shift register.
Purpose: The objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between sleep quality, fatigue, depression and health promoting behavior by shift-work patterns in university hospital nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive survey was conducted using a convenient sample. The self-administered questionnaires were given to 165 nurses (shift workers 91, non-shift workers 74) employed in two university hospital located in Seoul and Gyeunggi-do. Data were collected from February to March, 2010. Results: The shift workers showed significantly lower sleep quality and health promoting behavior, and higher fatigue than non-shift workers. There were significant correlations between fatigue, depression and health promoting behavior in shift workers. There were significant correlations between sleep quality, fatigue, depression and health promoting behavior in non-shift workers. In multiple linear regression analysis, after controlling for total work experiences, predictor of health promoting behavior in shift workers was only fatigue (${\beta}$=-.29, p<.001). Predictors of health promotion behavior in non-shift workers were depression (${\beta}$=-.37, p=.002) and fatigue (${\beta}$=-.27, p=.023). Conclusion: This study failed to provide a clear explanation why sleep quality does not have a comparable effect on health promotion behaviors of shift-workers as well as non-shift workers. However, future research is needed to determine the various risk factors influencing on health promotion behaviors by which shift-work pattern exacerbates fatigue.
This study investigates the effect of working hours on the dietary behaviors and dietary quality of male industrial workers employed in rotating shifts. The survey was conducted from February to March 2022, enrolling 209 male workers operating in rotational shifts at industries in the Chungcheongnam-do region. Eating behavior and health awareness were investigated during the morning shift, afternoon shift, and night shift for the same subjects. The shift timings were found to be associated with dietary behavior, which had an impact on the dietary quality of workers. Negative effects of shift timings on diet and health were also perceived by the shift workers. The frequency of alcohol consumption was high during the morning shift, and the frequency of night time snack intake was high during the afternoon shift. During the night shift, there was decreased vegetable intake and increased ramyeon intake. Compared to the morning shift, a significant decrease in dietary quality scores was found during the night shift. The workers recognized that rotating shift work negatively affected health, eating habits and sleep. There was a high demand for providing a variety of menus and healthy night snacks in the company cafeteria. When nutritional counseling and educational health services were provided, the willingness to participate was high. Therefore, to improve the health and dietary quality of shift workers, there is a need to provide diets suitable for the working environment and the characteristics, and to provide nutrition management services.

An estimation problem of treatment effect for bivariate censored survival data is considered under location shift model between two sample. The proposed estimator is very intuitive and can be obtained in a closed form. Asymptotic results of the proposed estimator are discussed and simulation studies are performed to show the strength of the proposed estimator.
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of caffeine intake by shift workers on sleep, considering various variable related to the sleep health of shift workers. Methods: A descriptive survey study was conducted with 128 employees who worked shifts. Respondents were surveyed on their of caffeine intake behavior, schedule type, quality of sleep, health promotion behavior, and occupational stress. Differences in their quality of sleep were assessed using the t-test and analysis of variance, while factors influencing the effect of caffeine intake on the quality of sleep were analyzed using hierarchical logistic regression. Results: The average Pittsburgh Sleep Index, Korean Version score of those surveyed was 7.3±3.25, indicating that their quality of sleep was low. On the other hand, their aveage daily intake of caffeine was 1.6±0.99 cups (1 cup =150 mL) and 116.4±77.58 mg/dL of caffeine. When the various variables that could have affected the quality of sleep were corrected, an increase in the amount of caffeine consumed was found to lead to a decrease in the quality of sleep (p=.015). Conclusion: Caffeine intake by shift workers has a significant bearing on their quality of sleep; therefore, such intake should be adjusted to improve their sleep health.
