  • Organizational climate and organization culture can be some of the leading factors in hindering knowledge sharing within the organization. It is generally accepted that successful knowledge management practice, including knowledge sharing, comes as a result of a conducive and knowledge sharing friendly environment. Organizations that promote and reward collective work generate a trustful and a more collaborative learning culture. The perception of fairness in an organization has been considered an important indicator of employee behavior, attitude, and motivation. This study investigates organizational justice perception and its impact on knowledge sharing practices among forensic experts in the Turkish National Police. The study findings revealed that senior officers, who are experts in the field, have the strongest organizational justice perception. Meanwhile, noncommissioned officers or technicians bear positive but comparatively weaker feelings about the existence of justice within the organization. The study argues that those who satisfy their career expectations tend to have a higher organizational justice perception.

  • As resource sharing becomes more active and complicated in academic libraries, a better understanding of how librarians-a key stakeholder-view the current level of resource sharing is needed. Using survey method, this study collected data regarding the Perception of 78 librarians with regard to interlibrary loan, document delivery, union catalog construction, shared acquisition, and community building. Overall, the respondents evaluated well-established forms of resource sharing(interlibrary loan, document delivery, and union catalog construction) more positively than less-well developed ones(shared acquisition and community building). Correlation analysis between perception of library/individual characteristics was conducted. Barriers to each of the five areas of resource sharing are also identified in the study.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between knowledge sharing antecedents and knowledge sharing intention in a financial institute and knowledge sharing behavior, knowledge sharing behavior and knowledge sharing performance. This paper first reviews the influencing factors of knowledge sharing and presents the research framework on knowledge sharing with categorized four factors such as structural factors, relational factors, personal and task characteristics. Based on a research framework, survey analysis was conducted with financial institution members. This paper examined the relationship between antecedents of knowledge sharing and knowledge sharing intention, knowledge sharing intention and knowledge sharing behavior. Also it analyzed the relationship between knowledge sharing behavior and the knowledge sharing performance. As a result, the paper suggested that the knowledge sharing intention consist of two dimensions. The first is voluntary knowledge sharing intention. The second is solicited knowledge sharing intention. The former has a significant positive relationship with the innovativeness, communication, personal creative propensity and perception of the knowledge sharing. The later has a significant positive relationship with the task interdependence but has a significant negative relationship with the knowledge sharing evaluation system. Knowledge sharing intention has a significant positive relationship with the knowledge sharing behavior. • The object of this research is to examine the factors leading to intercompany win-win by finding the antecedents and consequences that affect a supplier's fairness perception. We assume that the antecedent factors of a supplier's fairness perception are vertical coordination, cooperation support, information sharing, and legalistic plea. We assume that the consequential factors of a supplier's fairness perception are supply chain dependence and supply chain flexibility. The object industry is an electronic parts manufacturing company. We tested our model by using the SPSS 17.0 and the LISREL 8.5. For measurement validation, we verified by using a confirmatory factor analysis and a reliability analysis. For hypothesis analysis, we did a path analysis with the LISREL 8.5. By checking the modification index and expecting parameter changes, we modified the model. First, the buyer's vertical coordination had a positive effect on the supplier's distributive fairness perception and procedural fairness perception. Second, the buyer's cooperation support had no effect on the supplier's distributive fairness perception and procedural fairness perception: we suppose that the buyer's requests were burdensome, although they cooperated with the supplier. Third, the buyer's information sharing had a positive effect on distributive fairness perception but had no direct effect on procedural fairness perception. Fourth, the buyer's legalistic plea had a negative effect on the supplier's distributive fairness perception. and a negative effect on the supplier's procedural fairness perception at a 0.1 significance level. Fifth, although procedural fairness perception had no direct effect on supply chain dependence, fairness perception had an effect on supply chain dependence and supply chain flexibility both directly and indirectly.

  • Most of the researches on coopetition are focused on the effect of coopetion on firm performance in the firm level. However, few studies attempted to find out the effect of coopetition in team and individual level. In this paper, we examined the effect of individual perception of team climate for coopetition on the knowledge sharing and the moderating effects of procedural justice and personal initiative between the two variables. Empirical results using R&D researchers in research institutes of large-firms showed that individual perception of team climate for coopetition is positively related to knowledge sharing. In addition, we also found that procedural justice has positively strengthened the effect of coopetition on knowledge sharing. Finally, we addressed implications, limitations and future research directions.

  • Social networking service(SNS) helps users manage, share and delivery a vast information as a communication tool. When users read crisis news in SNS, they communicate the information with others by considering not only their belief (i.e., cognitive risk perception) but also emotion (i.e., affective risk perception). However, few researches have been interested in the construct of communication behaviors of crisis in SNS. This study aimed to explore the role of risk perception (cognitive and affective risk perception) between crisis responsibility and communication behavior through dual processing theory. As a result of the empirical analysis, crisis responsibility had a positive effect on cognitive risk perception and affective risk perception. In addition, cognitive risk perception had no significant effect on communication behavior whereas affective risk perception had influence on communication behavior positively. Thus, our findings may predict that the affective risk perception through crisis responsibility is more potentially important to communication behavior such as sharing information rather than cognitive risk perception. The results give insightful ideas why marketer should reduce perceived emotion caused by risk to strengthen prospective SNS users understanding of communication behavior intention.

  • The "sharing economy" describes a type of business built on the sharing of resources - allowing customers to access goods when needed. While sharing goods has always been a common practice among friends, family, and neighbors, in recent years, the concept of sharing has moved from a community practice into a profitable business model. This study explores gaps between customers' actual usages and current policies on accommodation sharing by analyzing what needs to be done for the better establishment of sharing economy in society. The purpose of this study is to investigate perceptions of accommodation sharing by analyzing reviews and negative aspects that help resolve complaints and improve better services through policy establishment. This study investigates key attributes that influence business performance to improve citizens' decision-making for the usage of accommodation sharing. This study applies qualitative research by collecting demand- and supply-side reviews from selected registered accommodations using a random sampling procedure. This study finds that guests prefer entire house sharing with instrumental attributes related to properties. Entire house sharing of multiple dwellings shows business impacts in terms of high occupancy rate on the platform, while there are policy concerns with entire house sharing. The results provide policy and managerial implications by suggesting proper policies and considering relationships with citizens.
