Consumer health information is receiving more attention than ever before. This growing attention can be linked to the Internet and to people seeking more information on health topics. The purpose of this study is to suggest a design of the Knowledge management system for medical information services in a public library. As theoretical backgrounds, it discusses the issues regarding to the medical information services in a public library, knowledge management and knowledge management system. After that, 12 medical information sites are analyzed then the planning and the main menu of a medical information site for a public library are described. Finally, the model of the knowledge management system for a public library with 5 sub-systems are suggested: 1) knowledge creation system, 2) technology support system, 3) training system, 4) community service system, 5) knowledge sharing and network system. This system based on knowledge management will help provide the users high quality of medical information.

Research data means data used or created in the course of research or experiments. Research data is very important for validation of research conducted and for use in future research and projects. Recently, convergence research between various fields and international cooperation has been continuously done due to the explosive increase of research data and the increase in the complexity of science and technology. Developed countries are actively promoting open science policies that share research results and processes to create new knowledge and values through convergence research. Communities to promote the sharing and utilization of research data such as RDA (Research Data Alliance) and COAR (Confederation of Open Access Repositories) are active, and various platforms for managing and sharing research data are being developed and used. OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research In Europe), a research data platform in Europe, ARDC (Australian Research Data Commons) in Australia, and IRDB (Institutional Repositories DataBase) in Japan provide research data or research data related services. Korea has been establishing and implementing a research data sharing and utilization strategy to promote the sharing and utilization of research data at the national level, led by the central government. Based on this strategy, KISTI has been building a Korean research data platform (DataON) since 2018, and has been providing research data sharing and utilization services to users since January 2020. This paper reviews the characteristics of DataON and how it is used for research by showing its applications.
With the development of information technology, social network services (SNS) such as Facebook and Twitter became popular and many users disclose their personal and sensitive information like private story, photographs and location information through posting and sharing. Despite the privacy concerns in SNSs, individuals continue to disclose their identity online. This phenomenon is called 'privacy paradox'. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of collective efficacy on self-disclosure in SNS context and to explain privacy paradox phenomenon. Drawing upon the communication privacy management theory, research model was developed and empirically tested with cross-sectional data from 306 individuals. Results revealed that collective efficacy has a direct positive effect on self-disclosure while privacy risk is negatively related to self-disclosure. However, privacy concern is not directly related to self-disclosure. The relationship between privacy concern and self-disclosure was moderated by collective efficacy.
Due to recent growth in IT industry along with the expansion of smartphone, we came to connect to the Internet wherever and whenever we are. However, this causes negative side effects, though. One of them is a rapid increase of the financial crimes such as the Phishing and the SMishing. There have been many on-going researches about crimes such as Phishing and SMishing to protect users. However, the study about sharing knowledge on SNS to prevent such a crime can be hardly found. Based on social identity theory, we conduct the research about factors on SNS users' intention to share the information security knowledge on SNS. As a result, we found that knowledge provision self-efficacy has a significant impact on self-expression. In addition, it also found out self-expression, awareness about information security and the sense of belonging have a significant impact respectively on the intention to share the information security knowledge on SNS. On the other hand, the altruism didn't have a significant impact to the intention to share information security knowledge on SNS. With this research as a starting point, it seems necessary to expand its range to all types of online community in the future for the generalization of the hypotheses.

Recently, information portals, national institutions, and integrated information centers, which are eager to acquire quality contents, actively share contents. Korean national knowledge is recognized to be superior in terms of its specialty and reliability. Currently, the distribution of national knowledge in Korea is at the beginning stage as the content sharing was intended to enhance the users' accessibility to the information and ease of information use. In this study, we identified the national knowledge distribution status in Korea and abroad by analyzing the roles of the information providers, information search portals, and Korea Knowledge Portal. We also conducted in-depth interviews with six experts, who represent academic institutions, libraries, specialized information centers, and commercial ventures. To enable effective Korean national knowledge distribution, we generated suggestions for the respective information providing services to share and cooperate based on the analysis and tile Interviews.
This study was conducted to examine the present state, types of services, difficulties, education programs, motivation, satisfaction and attitude of hospice volunteers and also to suggest supporting programs for the volunteer. For these purposes, a questionnaire was distributed among the 200 hospice volunteers in ten hospice organizations in Daejeon and Chungcheong province. In this research, 85.5% of the respondents were women and most of them were housewives in their forties and fifties. The majority of hospice volunteers had an education background of more than high school. Christianity (94%) was the dominant religion of volunteers. Among the service area of the hospice, emotional caring, such as listening closely and establishing empathy were the most frequently done by the respondents and the next one was spiritual care. Hospice volunteers who had started with altruistic motivation show more dynamic activities in emotional, spiritual, physical caring and so on, than those with non-altruistic motivation. Most of the respondents expressed that they felt a hospice volunteer was valuable. However they had a hard time to overcome the sorrow coming from sharing empathy with the dying patients. Those who had started with altruistic motivation usually took part in two times per a week and had more positive attitude. Volunteers who had been working more than five years showed better attitude than those who had been working less than three years. The longer the voluntary services, the more positive attitude experienced by volunteers. Hospice volunteers encountered the most considerable difficulty with lack of background knowledge and their actual capability. Insufficiency of time was the next reason for the considerable difficulty of the hospice volunteer. On the other hand, those who served more than twice per week replied that lack of background knowledge and their capability were the least considerable difficulty. Insufficiency of time was the reason of difficulty for male volunteers, as well as for females under thirty and those in their forties and fifties respectively. Generally most of the hospice volunteers (70%) were satisfied with their services and they usually satisfied with physical caring, spiritual caring, hospice's family caring. The less difficulty in voluntary services, more satisfaction for the volunteers in the end. There is a positive correlation between a attitude of the hospice volunteer and frequency of voluntary services while the volunteers' difficulty affect negatively their attitude as well as the frequency of voluntary services. Most of the hospice volunteers want to have more education about basic skills, volunteer's attitude and role, spirituality, the way of attending on the hospice and so on. Most of them considered discussion and sharing different cases as the most effective method. They also wish to had more supporting programs for the hospice volunteers(in the order of their needs) such as regular events, newsletters, personal concern, social meetings among the volunteers, insurance and minimum expenses. Based on the study results, more programs should be run in order to activate the voluntary services regardless of their gender and education background. A continuous practical supporting policy and education programs are required in order to provide special education and training courses considering every field of voluntary services. Expanding the role of the volunteers allows them more opportunities to take part in voluntary services and th activate participation. It is necessary to establish a new hospice system as a part public medical system, which can not only facilitate the voluntary services for a hospice but also enhance professional hospice volunteers. Finally, experts are needed to operate the voluntary services effectively.
The purpose of this study is to analyze empirically analyze how the characteristics of participants in educational and social learning forums and the quality of events influence expectations and satisfaction of forums. The study also aims to provide strategic implications for forum organizers and give them suggestions on how to set up target audience, manage forum contents, speakers, and services, improve attendee satisfaction, and ultimately maximize overall outcomes. As exchanges among individuals, enterprises, and organizations, as well as countries are growing rapidly, the convention industry has become a key player in the market. Conventions have also become a venue for people to discuss a specific agenda or topic, exchange information and learn knowledge and insights. Especially, the forum - as part of the convention industry - plays a vital role providing educational and social learning opportunities as scholars and expertise come together to share their knowledge and experience through a variety of discussions. With its role, many of forums are taking place in recent years; however, there have been few empirical studies upon the forum itself. Also, there have been few attempts to research how the quality of forums affect participants' satisfaction along with their characteristics and how much of practical knowledge is provided throughout the events. This study is meaningful in that it is the first practical study that takes a deep understanding of the forum and sees how the quality of the forums influences participants' satisfaction and whether the characteristics of participants have a moderating effect in increasing the level of satisfaction. Forum organizers could also take a strategic approach as their major concerns are to increase the number of participants and raise degree of satisfaction by providing significant information. There are four key elements that determine success or failure of a social learning forum. The four elements are contents, speakers, services, and participants. Content plays an important role in providing rich information and knowledge for participants. Speakers are the main knowledge providers who contribute to the forum's social learning role. Also, the services provided by forum organizers such as simultaneous interpretation services, program brochures, lunch and refreshments, and the overall design of event hall can also influence the level of participants' satisfaction. Lastly, the participants and their characteristics are important since they are the ones who receive knowledge from the providers. The results of this study show that the quality of forum (content, speaker, and services) has a decisive effect on the participants' satisfaction and there are some differences in expectation among the participants in the forum. Also, some groups of participants were more likely to be stimulated by the quality of forum when determining their satisfaction. The study is modeled after MBN Y Forum 2016 and its participants' characteristics. The forum is one of the most representative social learning forums of South Korea and its audiences are mostly young people. It has analyzed how the participants' characteristics influence their satisfaction by grouping them into ${\Delta}participants$ who have invited for free and those who paid for the entrance fee, ${\Delta}first-time$ participants and returning participants, ${\Delta}voluntary$ and involuntary participants, ${\Delta}participants$ who registered through web and those who did through mobile, and ${\Delta}participants$ who registered during pre-sale opens and those who registered during general opens.

Due to the rapid development of AI-related industries, countless edge devices are working in the real world. Since data generated within the smart space consisted of these devices is beyond imagination, it is becoming increasingly difficult for edge devices to process. To solve this issue, EdgeCPS has appeared. EdgeCPS is a technology to support harmonious execution of various application services including AI applications through interworking between edge devices and edge servers, and augmenting resources/functions. Therefore, we propose a knowledge-sharing graph-based componentized AI application support system applicable to the EdgeCPS platform. The graph is designed to effectively store information which are essential elements for creating AI applications. In order to easily change resource/function augmentation under the support of the EdgeCPS platform, AI applications are operated as components. The application support system is linked with the knowledge graph so that users can easily create and test applications, and visualizes the execution aspect of the application to users as a pipeline.

Today, despite the increase in professional knowledge-related information needs of citizens, the expansion of citizen participatory research in academia, and the provision of information services for the professional knowledge, there are still difficulties in access to scholarly information resources by laypeople. Focusing on this problem, this study investigates laypeople's scholarly information needs and behaviors through a questionnaire survey. By examining the search and use behaviors of scholarly information resources, and the perception of the need to support the utilization of them, this study analyzes the degree and pattern of social sharing of scholarly information resources beyond the scholarly community. This study is significant in that it expands the range of users in traditional scholarly communication and emphasizes the need to support them to access and use scholarly information resources.
The purpose of this research is to represent how ICT relatedness and organization environment influence on interactions between healthcare specialist and patients, and how knowledge sharing influence on healthcare innovation, and how service innovation influence on service performance through structured research model. This research also has applied to resource based view, adaptive structuration theory, service innovation, ICT relatedness to find out performance effect on healthcare service innovation and service performance. In other words, organization structure environment and ICT relatedness are important factors to promote interaction between healthcare service providers and customers like patients each other, moreover, to share the tacit knowledge by creating in the interaction. Moreover in order to verify model fitness, this research has surveyed among healthcare specialists, technicians and other staffs. Model verification result, all hypotheses have been found to give a positive effect on the creation and significantly. Structured organizational environment and ICT association is to promote the organization's functions by influencing the behavior of the service organization and patient interaction and knowledge sharing, and suggests that the major factors influencing the innovation performance of hospitals and health care services.
