복합재 격자 구조의 강성 평가를 위한 Subelement의 압축, 굽힘 시험 (Compression and Bending Test for the Stiffness of Composite Lattice Subelement)

  • 복합재 격자 구조물은 무게가 가볍고 비강성, 비강도가 높다는 장점이 있으며 주로 압축 하중이 작용하는 발사체구조에 적용된다. 그러나 필라멘트 와인딩 기법으로 제작되므로 섬유가 겹쳐지는 부분에서 기공과 결함이 발생하게 된다. 설계 하중 도출을 위한 해석 모델 검증을 위해 구조물의 강성, 강도 확인이 필요하지만 Full scale 시험의 경우 시간, 공간상의 제약이 따르며 구조물의 형상이 복잡하므로 시험에 어려움이 많다. 따라서 강성 확인을 위한 Subelement 단위의 시험법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 복합재 격자 구조물을 단위격자구조로 가공하였으며 각각 압축, 굽힘 시험을 수행하여 나선 리브, 원주 리브의 강성을 확인하였다. 휘임, 비틀림 형상을 가진 원통형 복합재 격자 구조물의 강성 평가를 위한 압축, 굽힘 시험법을 제안하였으며 유한요소해석을 수행하여 시험결과와 비교하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 필라멘트 와인딩을 이용한 원통형 복합재 격자구조체의 제작 공정을 서술하였다. 원통형 복합재 격자구조체는 크게 네 단계의 제작 공정을 통해 제작된다. 격자 형상을 갖는 실리콘 금형을 맨드릴에 설치하고 연속 섬유를 실리콘 금형 위에 와인딩 한다. 섬유의 와인딩 후 모든 영역에서 동일한 두께를 갖도록 섬유 교차부의 압착 공정을 수행한다. 마지막으로 복합재 격자구조체를 오븐에서 경화하고 금형을 탈형한다. 제작된 제품의 치수는 설계 사양과 비교하여 2.4%의 오차가 발생하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This study is for the Kyungduk-Dan(as a altar of Milsung-Daegun) and The Manun-Jae the characteristics(lay out and planning, window patterns, structure, materials) of the the Korean traditional house during the modern era. Before Manun-Jae was used for the house. The Kyungduck-Dan was constructed in August according to the Lunar Calender in 1927. The Manun-Jae(house for Ki-hun Kang, millionaire ) was completed in 1924. Modern Architectures brought to Korea with the bricks, the tiles, the flash doors, the plate grasses, the brass hardwares. These architectural material was used in positive. During the construction of Manun-Jae in 1924, it happened the architectural exchage among a korean, a chinese and a japanese constructor. Though using the air exhaust valve at the kitchen of Ukyung-Kak( old Anchae), it could be assume that the modern convenience and the improvement of residential environments was considered at that period during the construction of Manun-Jae. That construction was elected with the brick($222mm{\times}106mm{\times}50mm$), the chinese colored tile and plate glass such a modem materials. The new shape of the korean lattice window and the wooden flash-door with glass was used. In Ukyung-Kak, the Chan-Maru(service space) and the kitchen such as a service space or concise utility zone was organically connected. Especially, considered the domesitic activity and circulation, the western kitchen sink and the Chan-Maru(service space) was rationally placed. At the Manun-Jae and the Kyungduck-Dan, the architectural characteristic is that the new shape of windows was used. The lattice window at the Ondol room of Ukyung-Kak, was rgadually added the plate glass and the wood plate. The lattice window with the grid shape at kitchen of that building was adapted japanese grid lattice window in korea at that period. It is the sample that korean traditional house was typically influenced from the japanese resident culture. The Manun-Jae and the Kyungduck-Dan as the modern house kept the form of korean traditional architecture, and was partially adapted a modern characteristic space and modern architectural materials. 격자지보와 숏크리트 복합구조체의 특성 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Characteristics of a Composite Structure of Lattice Girder and Shotcrete)

  • 격자지보는 NATM에서 터널굴착 후 곧바로 설치되는 강지보재의 한 종류로서 기존의 H형강 지보재를 대체하고자 유럽에서 개발된 새로운 종류의 지보재이다. 격자지보는 강봉을 삼각형태로 엮어 만들었기 때문에 숏크리트 타설이 용이하고 지보재 배면에 생기는 공동을 최소화 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한 격자지보와 숏크리트 복합구조체는 결합력이 우수하여 일체화된 구조체로서 거동하기 때문에 지압을 효과적으로 지지할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 격자지보와 숏크리트 복합구조체의 특성파악을 위해 실시한 모형벽체 시험, 모형벽체에 타설된 숏크리트의 강도특성시험, 격자지보와 숏크리트의 부착강도시험 결과를 제시하였다. 실험결과 숏크리트가 타설된 격자지보는 숏크리트가 타설된 H형강 지보재에 비해 숏크리 트 리바운드, 타설된 숏크리트의 강도, 부착특성 등이 우수한 것으로 판명되었고, 이로써 격자지로는 적절한 터널지보재로서의 역할을 할 것으로 판단되었다.

A comparative study of multi-objective evolutionary metaheuristics for lattice girder design optimization

  • The geometric nonlinearity has been successfully integrated with the design of steel structural system. Thus, the tubular lattice girder, one application of steel structural systems have already been optimized to obtain an economic design following the completion of computationally expensive design procedure. In order to decrease its computing cost, this study proposes to employ five multi-objective metaheuristics for the design optimization of geometrically nonlinear tubular lattice girder. Then, the employed multi-objective optimization algorithms (MOAs), NSGAII, PESAII, SPEAII, AbYSS and MoCell are evaluated considering their computing performances. For an unbiased evaluation of their computing performance, a tubular lattice girder with varying size-shape-topology and a benchmark truss design with 17 members are not only optimized considering the geometrically nonlinear behavior, but three benchmark mathematical functions along with the four benchmark linear design problems are also included for the comparison purpose. The proposed experimental study is carried out by use of an intelligent optimization tool named JMetal v5.10. According to the quantitative results of employed quality indicators with respect to a statistical analysis test, MoCell is resulted with an achievement of showing better computing performance compared to other four MOAs. Consequently, MoCell is suggested as an optimization tool for the design of geometrically nonlinear tubular lattice girder than the other employed MOAs.

  • An air-water free surface flow simulation by using the Lattice Boltzmann Method(LBM) has not been studied a lot compared with the done by the Navier-Stoke equation. This paper shows the LBM is as one of the application tools for the free surface movement over an obstacle. The Mezo scaled application tool has been developed with two dimensional and nine discretized velocity direction using conventional lattice Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook model. Boundary conditions of a halfway-based for solid wall and a kinematic-based for interface are adopted. A validation case with a trapezoidal shape bump to make a comparison between freesurface movements from computational results and experimental ones was described with grid size dependency.

비고정 구간 길이 음향 튜브를 이용한 성도 모델링 (Vocal Tract Modeling with Unfixed Sectionlength Acoustic Tubes(USLAT))

  • Speech production can be viewed as a filtering operation in which a sound source excites a vocal tract filter. The vocal tract is modeled as a chain of cylinders of varying cross-sectional area in linear prediction acoustic tube modeling. In this modeling the most common implementation assumes equal length of tube sections. Therefore, to model complex vocal tract shapes, a large number of tube sections are needed. This paper proposes a new vocal tract model with unfixed sectionlengths, which uses the reduced lattice filter for modeling the vocal tract. This model transforms the lattice filter to reduced structure and the Burg algorithm to modified version. When the conventional and the proposed models are implemented with the same order of linear prediction analysis, the proposed model can produce more accurate results than the conventional one. To implement a system within similar accuracy level, it may be possible to reduce the stages of the lattice filter structure. The proposed model produces the more similar vocal tract shape than the conventional one.

Design of the Spur Gear with Honeycomb Lattice Structure and PBF Printing

  • In this study, the spur gear with honeycomb lattice structures are designed. The pitch diameter and body length of the spur gear are Ø93 mm and 104.0 mm, respectively. The designed gear was printed using Powder bed fusion (PBF) 3D printer. The gear is 3D printed perfectly. Even the teeth and honeycombs of the gear were output in the same way as the design shape. The printed gear with honeycomb lattice structure has a 24% smaller cross-sectional area and 29% smaller volume and weight than conventional solid structure gears. The surface roughness is approximately 4.5㎛, and the hardness is 345 HV.
