  • This study was conducted with male/female teenagers to examine the interaction between their attachment to social media and their self-identity in both real space and cyberspace. Among the subjects, male teenagers tended to use social media more than female teenagers. Also, the more friends/followers they have, the more they would use the service itself. In the subordinate correlation of the subjects' self-identity in both cyberspace and real space, most areas showed positive correlation. And each subregion of the areas of real-space ego-identity and social media addiction showed positive correlation with them as well. On the other hand, in areas of social media addiction and cyberspace ego-identity, all areas showed negative correlation except the area of dominance. Through this experiment, it was proven apparent that there needs to be proper management of teenagers that are overusing and are addicted to social media, and that programs should be developed to mediate the subjects in regards to each subregion of real space and cyberspace ego-identity.

There were statistically significant differences in academic vision according to age, the area of major, the academic credential of their fathers, commuting time, military service experience and career plans. 3. There were statistically significant differences in student identity and cognitive regulation according to gender, age, the area of major, the academic credential of their fathers, commuting time, military service experience and career plans. 4. There were statistically significant differences in emotional regulation according to age, the area of major, the academic credential of their fathers, commuting time, career plans and daily mean study hours. 5. There were statistically significant differences in learning management according to gender, age, the area of major, grade point average, the academic credential of their fathers, career plans and daily mean study hours. 6. There were statistically significant differences in creating learning environments according to gender, age, the area of major, the academic credential of fathers, commuting time, career plans and daily mean study hours. As they were poorest at the cognitive regulation area among the areas of learning competencies, self-directed learning programs that deal with how to study, learning process, how to take notes and arrange them, how to link different pieces of acquired knowledge and how to map out study plans should be developed to give support to students.

  • Microblog is emerging as a new communication service because of its usefulness and real-time accessability. Recently, microblog services, such as twitter and me2day in Korea, are getting a great attention. Continuous use intention is critical to sustain the service. However, most recent studies are based on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) and Expectation Confirmation Model(ECM). These models are only focused on individual factors and overlook social influence factors. Social influence has been indicated as a critical factor of technology adoption and diffusion in social context(Davis, 1989; Fulk et al., 1987). In this study, we explore factors related to social influence which effect on continuous use intention for 'me2day' that is one of the most famous microblog in Korea. The purpose of this study is to understand continuous use intention and examine the relationship among social influence factors, social presence, and continuous use intention. To understand the phenomenon of continuous use intention in microblog service, this study employed social influence theory and expanded it by adding personal network exposure and group norm as additional social influence factors. The results show that social identity, group norms, and social presence positively influences continuous use intention. Contrary to our expectation, personal network exposure does not influence on continuous use intention. Academically, this research can contribute to microblog research field through elucidating the relationship among social influence factors, social presence, and continuous use intention. Although there is not enough research which is considered social influence factors as major explanation for continuous use intention, this study can give novel point of view to understand continuous use intention of microblog. Practically, service providers could consider ways to encourage users to continually use microblog service by reinforcing social influence factors and social presence.

Methods: In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on parents attending educational institutions for infants and toddlers, and hypotheses were verified through frequency analysis, reliability and validity correlation analysis using SPSS 22.0. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that service quality has a significant effect on rapport formation. Second, among the sub-factors of emotional quality, stimulation and identity had a significant effect on rapport formation. Third, among the sub-factors of service quality, sensiblity and responsiveness had a significant effect on brand fanship. Fourth, among the sub-factors of sensibility quality, stimulation and identity had a significant effect on brand fanship. Fifth, rapport formation was found to have a significant effect on brand fanship. Conclusion: This study is meaningful as a service and sensibility quality study focused on educational institutions at the present time when research on service quality and sensiblity quality targeting early childhood educational institutions is insufficient. In addition, in terms of management of educational institutions for infants and young children, by paying attention to the formation of a careful and pleasant relationship with the fans of educational institutions, an empirical example of a theoretical research model was shown that strong attachment to educational institutions and positive participation lead to loyal fans.

  • This paper introduces technical methods to improve the accessibility and usability of a WebRTC video conference (VC) application. Simplified login is essential, by applying such as single sign-on (SSO) to improve the accessibility of VC applications. High usability and manageability are also necessary to attract more users, enhance user experiences, and save service management cost. The proposed VC application leverages SAML-based federated identity management (FIM) to enable higher service accessibility. Users can access the application with their organizational ID and SSO authentication. The FIM eases user ID management and indirectly strengthens privacy information protection. Proposed web application has high usability and manageability because users and/or administrators can easily create, join, monitor, or tear down VC sessions through RESTful web service (REST API). We verify the feasibility of the VC application after illustrating the SAML-based identity federation and the designed REST API.

  • The 9-digit MMSI(Maritime Mobile Service Identity) in the NBDP is converted to the 7-digit identity signal, used to identify to the phase of and to synchronize to the clock of the ISS(Information Sending Station) automatically for phasing procedure between radio stations. In this paper, algorithms for the automatic identification phasing procedures and for conversions, calculations between 7-signals and 9-identity, those check-numbers in the phasing procedures for calling of the NBDP are discussed and designed. And a method of the faster locking and phasing for calling than that of recommended by ITU-R is suggested and implemented.
