In order for end-users in home networks to receive opportunities for useful services that go beyond legacy Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) services, this paper proposes a service platform that resides on the residential gateway (RG) for interworking between the home network and IPTV. This proposed service platform is called the home-oriented IPTV service platform (HISP) on the RG (HISP-RG). The proposed HISP-RG provides open architecture and functionalities to enable 3rd party IPTV service providers to locally and directly deliver home-oriented IPTV services to end-users in home networks. The HISP-RG can be an "add-on" and not a "built-in" solution for the existing standard RG. This paper introduces several home-oriented IPTV services that can be executed and delivered locally through the HISP-RG. Then, the open architecture and functionalities of the HISP-RG are defined and their requirements are specified. Finally, use cases of the HISP-RG for home-oriented IPTV services are presented.

This paper presents a novel method to design and implement mobile u-health system by defining the essential elements of mobile healthcare services. We choose common service elements for the proposed u-healthcare scheme and design the service platform. Especially we focus on automatic feces or urine sensing u-care scheme to prove the effectiveness of our platform. We construct the system with sensing part with a manikin and a diaper wireless communication part with feces or urine sensing data, and coordinator system based on the u-health platform defined in this paper. Experimental results show that our scheme is useful in the area of u-care service for the handicapped, the elderly, and patients who can hardly move by themselves. In addition the designed scheme offers a realized u-care scheme with the purpose of advanced developing tools for application or service developers.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the needs of art education suppliers and consumers and develop service models for an art education platform. In order to overcome the limitations of existing services limited to instructor-student customizing functions, our services take into account comprehensive relationships among various stakeholders and activities that constitute the art ecosystem Design/methodology/approach We reviewed the relevant reference and conducted interviews and surveys with stakeholders of art education market, so that identified the demand and functional priorities. Findings We identified the demand and functional priorities for customizing to as to develop major service models(i.e. service models for lessons, cubes, and businesses) for the art education platform.

Network infrastructure has spread to an unprecedented extent and is used in various computing devices, such as smart appliances, smart phones, and embedded devices with sensors, which have all been appearing in the computing environment. To accommodate this trend, for a more intelligent service environment, the service platform needs to have abilities that facilitate the operation between services, dynamically share distributed computing resources, and manage appropriate contextual information. We have simulated a service platform to provide intelligent services using contextual information after having implemented the context management service. The context management service gathers raw contextual information from sensors and stores these in the context database. For a consistent basis of contextual information, time and location are used as the key values of the contextual information. The context management service also performs normalization to provide computable contextual information to context-aware applications. In this paper, a service platform based on Jini technology is proposed for constructing an interoperable, dynamic, and . intelligent service environment using contextual information.

Because the existing BIM platform is based on user services, the focus is on the development of SaaS (Software as a Service), which provides business services online. However, since a harbor is a security facility, the harbor BIM platform is preferably provided in a private form, rather than relying on the infrastructure environment provided by external cloud providers. Therefore, this study analyzes and reviews the main functions to be provided as SaaS services of the harbor BIM platform. The goal is to build a cloud-based harbor BIM platform that can provide this service to users. To this end, we built IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) environment of the harbor BIM platform based on the open source Open Stack and integrate and develop PaaS environment with Open Shift applied with IaaS. We applied the GPU to the harbor BIM platform to verify the performance of the harbor BIM platform, and found that the rendering and loading times are improved. In particular, it is expected to reduce the cost of introduction and provide it as the basic cloud environment of similar BIM platform for infrastructure facilities.

The cosmetic medical information mobile platform is evolving into a new channel for searching and obtaining relevant information before using cosmetic medical service. In addition, the medical institutions can facilitate the medical contracts, and take advantage of systemic customer management through the cosmetic medical information mobile platform. Therefore, the paradigm of the cosmetic medical mobile service industry is facing a flow of change through the use diffusion of cosmetic medical information mobile platform. In this study, in order to explore the factors affecting the use diffusion of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform, this study used the research model of the influence of the characteristics of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform on perceived convenience and usefulness, and use diffusion by applying TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). As a result, immediateness, interactivity, and customization in the characteristics of cosmetic medical information mobile platform had positive effects on the perceived convenience. Also, interactivity, customization, and economics had positive impacts on perceived usefulness. In addition, perceived convenience and usefulness had positive effects on the use diffusion. Through this study, the factors influencing the use diffusion of cosmetic medical information mobile platform were actually explored, and the service value of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform were categorized. Future research is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and expansion of the cosmetic medical service market based on various research.

본 연구는 플랫폼의 개념과 특징을 살펴보고, 기업들이 플랫폼으로 이주하는 요인과 플랫폼의 가장 중요한 특성인 수요-공급 양면 구축 전략에 대해서 살펴본다. 이를 바탕으로 정부가 공공재인 사회서비스를 전달하기 위해 구축한 플랫폼인 사회서비스 전자바우처를 분석하고자 한다. 사회서비스 전자바우처는 수요자에게 전자바우처를 지급하고 서비스 선택권을 부여한 것을 핵심으로 하는 공공서비스 전달체계의 플랫폼 이주 사례이다. 분석 결과 사회서비스 전자바우처에서 작동한 플랫폼 이주 동인은 사회 인구구조 변화와 그에 따른 복지서비스 수요의 변화로 사회서비스 전달체계의 혁신이 필요했기 때문이었다. 아울러 수요-공급의 양면을 구축할 수 있었던 요인으로는 일자리 정책으로의 추진, 산업 차원으로의 육성, 짧은 시간에 양성된 제공인력, 사회서비스 이용자격의 요건 설정이 작용하였다.

Through diversification of 4th industries and transportation and globalization, tourism was developed for medical purposes, not limited to touring tourist attractions. The trend of medical tourism in Korea is shifting from large and medium-sized hospitals to professional medical services in one area of small hospitals rather than professional medical services. However, small hospitals lack medical coordinators and interpretation services, and tourists who visit Korea for treatment lack information on small hospitals. Therefore, a platform is needed to match small hospitals with medical tourists. In this study, using Platform as a Service (Paas) in cloud computing, clinic administrators can access the app to introduce information about their hospitals with simple manipulations. Tourists also want to propose a customized platform to select the right area for them to check information about small-scale hospitals and choose the treatment and tourist attractions they wants. 서비스 플랫폼이란 응용 서비스를 이용자에게 전달하는 틀로서, 서비스가 생성, 실행, 관리되는 서비스들의 플레이그라운드라 할 수 있다. 본 고에서는 통신 서비스 분야로 한정되어 있던 전통적인 서비스 딜리버리 플랫폼으로부터 통신 기능을 개방하여 인터넷 세상에 연결시키기 위한 개방형서비스 플랫폼, 웹 30.0 시대를 실현하기 위한 시맨틱 서비스 플랫폼에 이르기까지 서비스 플랫폼 기술의 발전상과 사례들을 살펴본다. 이와 같이 서비스 플랫폼의 현실과 미래를 고찰함으로써 이종 산업간 융합 서비스 제공 환경의 실현 기능성과 그 시기를 전망해보고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 KT 서비스개발연구소에서 개발된 컴포넌트 리파지토리 시스템의 설계 및 구현방법을 소개한다. 본 시스템은 CBD 방법론 및 EJB 컴포넌트 모델을 적용하여 유연하고 확장성 높은 컴포넌트 기반 시스템으로 개발되었다. 본 시스템은 컴포넌트를 기술하고 검색하기 위한 컴포넌트 명세 방법과 컴포넌트들을 체계적으로 분류, 관리할 수 있는 계층적 분류 체계를 정의한다 또 컴포넌트의 재활용을 위해 효과적인 검색 및 탐색 방법을 제공하며, 사용자 관리 및 통계 기능 둥을 포함한다. 본 논문에서는 요구사항 분석, 설계, 구현 단계에서 CBD 방법론의 적용 방안을 기술하고, 특히 컴포넌트 식별 및 컴포넌트 구조 설계 방법에 대해 상세히 기술한다.
