Prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome and Its Components in Adult Women (성인 여성의 대사증후군 및 대사증후군 진단요인 유병률)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and diagnostic components in adult women. Methods: The subjects of this study were 12,016 women that were aged twenty years or older and underwent an annual health check-up for National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) from 2009 to 2013. Data including blood pressure, waist circumstance, fasting glucose, triglyceride, and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) were received from the NHIS. This data was analyzed through the use of descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, and multiple logistic regression. Results: The prevalence of metabolic syndrome and diagnostic components increased with age. In the five diagnostic components of the metabolic syndrome, the prevalence of low HDL-C was highest in 20s to 40s. The prevalence of high blood pressure was highest in the people aged fifty or older. The risk of metabolic syndrome in 2013 was higher in women with abnormal diagnostic component of metabolic syndrome in 2009 and highest in women with abnormal waist circumstance in 2009. Conclusion: There was a need to investigate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome components according to age. Education on metabolic syndrome was required for those that had one or two abnormal diagnostic components. The risk of abdominal obesity related to metabolic syndrome needs to be emphasized. Moreover the education for management of abdominal obesity also needs to be emphasised.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the country image, the pre-assessment, and the usage intention about overseas internet shopping mall service in china and how these factors are related to one another according to internet shopping mall using experience. And this study divided the country image for internet shopping mall service into two components : general country attribute and general service product attribute. In this study it is found that the country image of international internet shopping service is directly related to the pre-assessment, and the pre-assessment is related to usage intention especially in case that chinese consumer has a lot of internet shopping mall using experience. In the other case, the general country attributes affect the general service product attributes but the general service product attributes don't have any relationship with the pre-assessment. For a successful international internet shopping mall service business in China, marketer should recognize that it is important to formulate the policy extending the internet shopping mall experience as well as using the country image.

  • The emotional interface is essential technology for the robot to provide the proper service to the user. In this research, we developed emotional components for the service robot such as a neural network based facial expression recognizer, emotion expression technologies based on 3D graphical face expression and joints movements, considering a user's reaction, behavior selection technology for emotion expression. We used our humanoid robots, AMI and AMIET as the test-beds of our emotional interface. We researched on the emotional interaction between a service robot and a user by integrating the developed technologies. Emotional interface technology for the service robot, enhance the performance of friendly interaction to the service robot, to increase the diversity of the service and the value-added of the robot for human. and it elevates the market growth and also contribute to the popularization of the robot. The emotional interface technology can enhance the performance of friendly interaction of the service robot.   • Business entities with which most service components interact are kind of cross-cutting concerns in a multi-layered distributed application architecture. When business entities are modified, service components related to them should also be modified, even though they implement common functions of the application framework. This paper proposes what we call DTT (Data Type-Tolerant) component model to process the variability of business entities, or externalized data, which feature modern application architectures. The DTT component model expresses the data variability of product lines at the implementation level by means of SCDTs (Self-Contained Data Types) and variation point interfaces. The model improves the efficiency of application engineering through data type converters which support type conversion between SCDTs and business entities of particular applications. The value of this model lies in that data and functions are coupled locally in each component again by allowing service components to deal with SCDTs only instead of externalized business eutities.

  • Recently, an intelligent service robot is being developed for use in guiding and providing information to visitors about the building at public institutions. The intelligent robot has a sensor at the bottom to recognize its location. Four wheels, which are arranged in the form of a lozenge, support the robot. This robot cannot be operated on uneven ground because its driving parts are attached to its main body that contains the important internal components. Continuous impact with the ground can change the precise positions of the components and weaken the connection between each structural part. In this paper, the design of the suspension system for such a robot is described. The dynamic model of the robot is created, and the driving characteristics of the robot with the designed suspension system are simulated. Additionally, the suspension system is optimized to reduce the impact for the robot components.

  • It has been well recognized that a long term service at elevated temperature of $350^{\circ}C{\sim}550^{\circ}C$ induces embrittlement damage due to carbide precipitation and/or P, Sb and Sn segregation at grain boundaries and thereby deteriorates the grain boundary strength of heat resisting components in the energy-related plants. Therefore, it is very important to assess quantitatively the extent of embrittlement damage of heat resisting components to secure the reliable and efficient service condition and to prevent brittle failure in service. However, because fracture tests are limited in size and number of specimen obtained from the structural components, nondestructive test method is required. In this study, the optimum electrochemical parameters are investigated and discussed to evaluate nondestructive embrittlement damage for aged 2.25Cr-1Mo steels by means of electrochemical polarization test method (ECPTM) in proper corrosive environment. In addition, the electrochemical test results are compared with embrittlement degree evaluated by semi-nondestructive SP test.

  • This paper deals with the following research topics on the basis of the service quality of Internet Banking. First, the components of the Internet Banking service will be described and the appropriate quality measures will be devised for the smooth Internet Banking. Second, the prerequisite variable such as the Internet Banking service quality, customer satisfactions and purchasing behavior are theoretically analysed. Third, it is discussed how the perceived quality of Internet Banking affects the purchasing activities of the customers. Finally, it will be discussed that these results are meaningful in establishing the marketing strategies of bank industry.

  • There have been numerous research and development efforts to automate business processes or execute business processes automatically. Especially, Web service is considered to be one of the most promising technologies. Existing Web service composition languages such as BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) and BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) do not provide full semantic support for business processes. This paper proposes a 3-layer model that consists of business process layer and service layer which can seamlessly integrates business process semantics with service semantics. The proposed model and architecture will enable effective management of business processes as well-defined corporate assets, services that execute tasks to achieve goals of business processes, and software components that comprise services.

  • Purpose: This study intends to offer strategic implications that can be used in emergency medical service of large-size hospital through analysis of causal relationship among factors such as emergency medical service, patient value, patient satisfaction and reuse intention. Methods: Differential model was introduced to test causal relationship. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling. Results: As a result of empirical analysis, we found that emergency medical service qualities of general hospital could be six components. Image of hospital, medical facilities, and attitude of medical staff are positively related to patient satisfaction and reuse intention. Conclusion: This study offers practical implications to relevant managers, at the same time it has limitations to be solved through additional study in future.

  • Developing the web-based information service sites requires their own developing methodology, because the process of the web sites development become more complicate and Internet surroundings are changing rapidly. They should control all components of the system for effective and efficient web services. However there is little clear concept about systematic development and management of web service sites, in the Korean Internet service sectors, especially in information service sectors. The research analyse current situation and necessity of developing methodology, and suggest new approach for developing new methodology of the web business/service sites.
