유한 필드 $GF(2^m)$상에서의 MSB 우선 디지트 시리얼 곱셈기 설계 (Design of MSB-First Digit-Serial Multiplier for Finite Fields GF(2″))

  • 본 논문에서는 유한 필드 GF(2")상에서 모듈러 곱셈 A(x)B(x) mod G(x)를 수행하는 MSB 우선 디지트 시리얼곱셈기를 설계하였다. 이를 위하여 GF(2")상에서 MSB 우선 곱셈 알고리즘으로부터 자료 의존 그래프를 구하고, 이를 이용하여 효율적인 디지트 시리얼 시스톨릭 곱셈기를 설계한다. 설계된 곱셈기에 대한 VHDL 코드를 구하고 시뮬레이션을 거친 후 FPGA 로 구현한다. 구현된 곱셈기는 디지트의 크기를 L로 설정했을 경우 연속적인 입력 데이터에 대해 [m/L) 클럭 사이클 비율로 곱셈의 결과를 출력한다. 본 연구에서 구현된 곱셈기를 기존의 곱셈기와 비교 분석한 결과 시간 및 공간 복잡도가 감소되었으며, 간단한 구조로서 데이터 처리 지연시간을 줄일 수 있다. 또한 본 연구에서 제안한 구조는 단 방향의 신호 흐름 특성을 가지고 있으며, 매우 규칙적이기 때문에 m과 L에 대해 높은 확장성을 가진다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속 무선 LAN에서 사용하는 IEEE 802.11a OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)에서 주요 구성인 IFFT/FFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform/Fast Fourier Transform)에 대한 설계에 대해 비교하였다. 설계된 IFFT/FFT는 무선 LAN의 표준에 맞게 64 point의 FFT로 연산을 수행하며, S/P(Serial-to-Parallel)이나 P/S(Parallel-to-Serial)변환기가 필요 없는 Pipelined FFT의 구조로 설계하였다. 그 중 Radix-2 알고리즘을 이용한 R22SDF(Radix-2 Single-path Delay Feedback) 방식, R2SDF(Radix-2 Single-path Delay Feedback) 방식과 Radix-4 알고리즘을 이용한 R4SDF(Radix-4 Single-path Delay Feedback) 방식, R4SDC(Radix-4 Single-path Delay Commutator) 방식을 사용하여 비교하였다. 하드웨어 구현 시 발생하는 오차를 줄이기 위해 Butterfly 연산 후 일부 소수점을 가지고 계산하는 구조로 설계하였다. R22SDF 방식을 이용할 경우 메모리를 제외한 전체 게이트 수가 44,747 개로 다른 구조에 비해 적은 하드웨어와 낮은 오차율을 가진다.

  • The so-called overapplication of Coda Neutralization in Korean, the occurrence of a neutralized consonant in a non-neutralizing environment, is often considered as evidence for serial derivation. In this paper I propose that the neutralization effect at surface is not a result of a phonological process at an intermediate level in serial derivation, but due to a constraint requiring the integrity of the morphological constituent: EDGE-INTEGRITY. It is argued that this is not reducible to an alignment constraint, but a genuine faithfulness constraint on the edge of a morphological constituent. The putative opacity related with the coda neutralization is shown to be an epiphenomenon arising from the ambisyllabic representation of a consonant at a morphological juncture, satisfying both EDGE-INTEGRITY arid Syllabic Conditions. Consonant Copy in the Jeju dialect provides further evidence for EDGE-INTEGRITY, the Only difference being that the conflict between Syllabic Conditions and EDGE-INTEGRITY is resolved by insertion of a copied consonant.

최소절단집합을 이용한 설비의 구조적 중요도 계산법 (Evaluation of Structural Importance Based on Minimal Cut Set Theory)

  • A technical system generally comprise a number of subsystems and components that are interconnected in such a way that the system is able to perform a set of required function. Because of the complex system structure with serial, parallel and bridged connections, some certain subsystems or components are more critical than the others. The main concern of a reliability engineer is to identify potential failures and to prevent these failures from occurring. In order to prevent fatal failures, proper inspections and maintenance actions for each component are required Considering above objectives of reliability engineers and characteristics of a practical system, several practical method for evaluating system and component reliabilities have developed namely Birnbaum's and Fussell & Vesely's measures. However there are several critical weaknesses in traditional calculation process as the target system gets larger. In this paper, a new technique for calculating component's structural importance is proposed and compared to Birnbaum's with representative system examples (serial, parallel. k out of n, and bridge type).

  • This paper presents the novel work for source localization of serial multiple impacts in a plate sructure. It is difficult to identify the source of serial multiple impacts with the current source localization techenology(SLT) because of the overlapping of dispersive wave induced by multiple impacts and the reflaction from the edge of the plate. In this paper, the new method is suggested for source localization. The method is developed based on the SLT with pre-signal processing such as some limitation for the selection of three sensors, the frequency range for TFA and impact time interval. Results from numerical simulation and experiment in isotropic plate structure are presented, which show the capability of the proposed method.

  • In this study, a translational 3-DOF parallel mechanism formed by constraining the Stewart Platform Mechanism is investigated. The translational 3-DOF parallel mechanism has three struts(3-UPS type serial subchains) and in addition, has a PPP type serial subchain in the middle of the mechanism. Firstly, the closed-form forward and reverse position solutions are derived for this mechanism. And analysis on kinematic characteristics using isotropic index of the Jacobian is conducted to examine effects of design parameters for the mechanism. Lastly, a prototype mechanism is implemented and the kinematic performance of the translational 3-DOF parallel mechanism was verified through experimental work.

  • In this paper, we proposed the effective serial connection methodology of PBG resonator with defect mode. We use the big difference of impedance ratio in connection region, for example dual PBG, for serial connection. This method reduces the PBG cells and is able to control the pole of bandpass filters. This result in flexibility in design of bandpass filter. Our PBG bandpass filter is modeled by using the ideal transmission line model. This model is very easy, fast, and effective for PBG structure.

차단부 형태에 따른 소전류 차단성능 비교 (Comparison of Small Current Interruption Capability Depending on the Type of Interrupter)

  • This paper presents the results of a small capacitive current interruption test for the three types of interrupter which are called 'serial type', 'parallel/separated type' and 'puffer type' according to the arrangement of the thermal expansion chamber and the puffer cylinder. After the preconditioning test the small current interruption capability of the 'puffer type' decreased, on the contrary, that of the hybrid interrupters increased. A number of reignition have been occurred in the 'serial type' hybrid interrupter and the change of small current interruption capability after preconditioning test is mainly influenced by the structure of interrupter. Finally it has been proved that the 'parallel/separated type' hybrid interrupter has the best interruption performance through the verification tests.

현장시험에 의한 소수력발전용 튜블러수차시스템 성능계측 (Performance Measurement of a Tubular Type Turbine System for Small Hydropower by Field Test)

  • Recently, small hydropower attracts attention because of its renewable, clean and abundant energy resources to develop. Therefore, a tubular type hydro turbine is proposed for small hydropower in this study because the turbine has relatively simple structure and high possibility of applying to small hydropower. The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of the turbine by field test. Field test iss conducted using one tubular turbine system as well as serial arrangement system by two tubular turbines taking into consideration of actual operation conditions. The results show that efficiency of test turbine changes considerably by the runner vane angle. Best efficiency of one turbine arrangement is higher than that of two turbine serial arrangement.

  • Standard capacitors, as like as Hamon resistor standards, of series connection/parallel connection ratio $10{\mu}F/1000{\mu}F\;and\;100{\mu}F/10000{\mu}F$ were fabricated for calibration of impedance bridges or analyzers with measuring ranges up to 1 F. The calculated correction terms to the ratio of one measured value in series connection to the value in parallel connection were evaluated to be $1.92{\times}10^{-7}$. These capacitors were designed to be used not only as 100:1 capacitance standards but also as single capacitors or decade capacitors with decade values at frequencies up to 1 kHz.
