  • The School Management Information System (SMIS) is important to accomplish educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is related with an attempt to develop the SMIS in Indonesian case. There are more than 240 million inhabitants in 33 provinces, and only six official religions which are recognized by the Indonesian government. Based on National Education Standards, the EPC diagram in the ARIS tool is used to design the process of the SMIS. For the implementation of the SMIS, the Use Case diagram and Sequence diagram are constructed by Together 2008.

  • Sequential Function Chart(SFC) is very easy to grasp the sequential flow of control logic and has the compatability for a maintenance, In process control, when an error is occurred, to execute other routine by force, we control the process by remote control. In this paper, we proposed the method of select sequence control by remote control in process control designed by Sequential Function Chart(SFC).

  • In order to increase competitiveness and to gain economic benefit, companies ask more and more how to recycle their products in an efficient way. So far, to answer this question, companies are not sufficiently supported by suitable methods specially in the area of disassembly process planning. For this reason, we develop in collaboration with an industrial partner a new method for generating an optimal disassembly sequence. In this paper this method will be described in detail by considering the exiting assembly information, disassembly method and disassembly depth. PLM(Profit-Loss Margin) curve that is used to determine disassembly depth consists of profit value, disassembly cost and disassembly effect. Using assessment parameters, generated alternative disassembly sequences are evaluated and an optimal disassembly sequence is proposed. This method is applied to generate the optimal disassembly sequence of Door Trim as an example.

  • UML is a very good description of object-oriented concepts and supports the use case diagram for analyzing the system functionality, the class diagram for representing the domain object in the analysis step, the sequence diagram for connecting the action in the class. The visual-based, object-oriented LabVIEW OOP is an intuitive design tool that can be executed at the same time as a development tool. However, even the system developer using LabVIEW OOP is needed known about the object-oriented concept in the design stage. In this paper, we suggest the method to applying the UML modeling diagram to LabVIEW OOP design.

  • When we design the control system used Programmable Logic controller(PLC), if we program a Sequential Function Chart(SFC), It is easy to understand the sequential flow of control, to maintenance the controller and to describe a program. SFC language is programmed by a single sequence, a select sequence and a parallel sequence. In a select sequence, when the select step is error, the whole process is stopped. If the error step has no connection the whole process, the loss is down when we debugging the program without stopping the whole process. Therefore, this thesis shows the efficient method of remote control for select sequence and we confirmed its feasibility through actual example.

  • In this paper, we investigate the mutual relation among short exact sequences of amalgamated free products which involve augmentation ideals and relation modules. In particular, we find out commutative diagrams having a steady structure in the sense that all of their three columns and rows are short exact sequences.

  • We investigate the evolution of galaxies in mid-infrared (MIR) $[3.4{\mu}m]-[12{\mu}m]$ color versus $12{\mu}$ luminosity diagram using Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer data for member galaxies of the A2199 supercluster at $z{\simeq}0.03$. In the MIR color-luminosity diagram, we classify galaxies into three MIR classes: MIR blue cloud (massive, quiescent and mostly early-type), MIR star-forming sequence (mostly late-type), and MIR green valley galaxies. Both MIR green valley galaxies and MIR blue cloud galaxies are optically red sequence populations, and there is no significant difference in star formation rates and stellar masses between them. We compare cumulative distribution functions of surface galaxy number density and of cluster/group-centric distance between three MIR classes. However, when considering only early-type galaxies, the difference between MIR blue cloud galaxies and MIR green valley galaxies disappears. In contrast, the intermediate trend of MIR green valley galaxies is still found for late-type galaxies. We discuss our results concerning the difference of evolution between early- and late-type galaxies and the connection to environment.

  • Current estimates, based on the same star-count analysis, of the distance to the globule Bamard 361 range from 300 pc to 650 pc. All the problems associated with the estimates have been fully rectified in this study, and a modification has been made to the classical Wolf diagram to improve the accuracy in the distance determination. A reference field was carefully selected close to the globule but well outside the globule boundary, and star counts for this field were performed on the blue POSS plate in order to set up the reference magnitude sequence appropriate to the general area of B 361. From the reference sequence, the stellar density function has been derived specifically for the direction toward the globule. Correction was made for the general interstellar extinction, and the luminosity function with the Wielen's dip was adopted. The resulting density function clearly reveals the existence of the local Cygnus-Orion arm in the direction of B 361 at about 700 pc away from the Sun. Analysis of the star-count data for the program field locates the globule at distance $600{\pm}50$ pc ; thus, the globule is an object located in the Cygnus-Orion arm, residing somewhat toward its leading edge.

  • We report the HST pixel analysis results of the interacting S0 galaxy, NGC 5195 (M51B), using the HST/ACS images in the F435W, F555W and F814W (BVI) bands. After 4x4 binning of the HST/ACS images to secure sufficient signal-to-noise ratio for each pixel, we derive several quantities describing the pixel color-magnitude diagram (pCMD) of NGC 5195, such as blue/red color cut, red pixel sequence parameters, blue pixel sequence parameters and blue-to-red pixel ratio. Those parameters reflect the internal properties of NGC 5195 like age, metallicity, dust content and galaxy morphology. To investigate the spatial distributions of stellar populations, we divide pixel stellar populations using the pixel color-color diagram and population synthesis models. As a result, we find that the tidal interaction with NGC 5194 significantly affects the stellar populations in their dust content and mean stellar age.
