진동신호 무선 수집에 대한 연구 (Study on Wireless Acquisition of Vibration Signals)

  • A Wi-Fi signal network (WSN) system is introduced in this paper. This system consists of several data-transmitting sensor modules and a data-receiving server. Each sensor module and the server contain a unique intranet IP address. A piezoelectric accelerometer with a bandwidth of 12 kHz, a 24-bit analog-digital converter with a sampling rate of 15.625 kS/s, a 32-bit microprocessor unit, and a 1-Mbps Wi-Fi module are used in the data-transmitting sensor module. A 300-Mbps router and a PC are used in the server. The system is verified using an accelerometer calibrator. The voltage output from the sensor is converted into 24-bit digital data and transmitted via the Wi-Fi module. These data are received by a Wi-Fi router connected to a PC. The input frequencies of the accelerometer calibrator (320 Hz, 640 Hz, and 1280 Hz) are used in the data transfer verification. The received data are compared to the data retrieved directly from the analog-to-digital converter used in the sensor module. The comparison shows that the developed system represents the original data considerably well. Theoretically, the system can acquire vibration signals from 600 sensor modules at an accelerometer bandwidth of 15.625 kHz. However, delay exists owing to software processes, multiplexing between sensor modules, and the use of non-real time operating system. Hence, it is recommended that this system may be used to acquire vibration signals with up to 10 kHz, which is approximately 70% of the theoretical maximum speed of the system.   • Six modules composed of individual sensors and circuit systems for oxygen, temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds, dust, carbon dioxide, in the indoor air quality control were examined to see their individual performances.   • Recently, studying on modeling the emotion of a robot has become issued among fields of a humanoid robot and an interaction of human and robot. Especially, modeling of the motivation, the emotion, the behavior, and so on, in the robot, is hard and need to make efforts to use our originality. In this paper, new modeling using mathematical formulations to represent the emotion and the behavior selection is proposed for the software robot with virtual sensor modules. Various Points which affect six emotional states such as happy or sad are formulated as simple exponential equations with various parameters. There are several experiments with seven external sensor inputs from virtual environment and human to evaluate this modeling.

  • 이미지 센서와 렌즈를 모듈 상에 고정할 때, 기계적인 오차로 인해 취득된 영상의 기울임 또는 회전이 발생하기도 하고 화각이 좁아지기도 한다. 따라서 테스트 장비에서 이미지 센서 모듈의 광학적 특성을 테스트하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이미지 센서 모듈의 광학적 특성을 테스트하는 방법을 설명하고, 이를 영상 취득 특성과 유사한 방식으로 표준화한 기술 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 테스트 장비가 영상 취득 특성과 광학적 특성을 함께 테스트하는데 도움이 된다.

구조물 모니터링을 위한 헤테로 코어형 광센싱 시스템 (Hetero-core Spliced Fiber Optical Sensing System for an Environment Monitoring)

  • A multi-purpose environmental monitoring system has been developed as a commercially available standard using the technique of hetero-core spliced fiber optic sensors, for the purposes of monitoring large-scale structures and preserving natural environments. The monitoring system has been tested and evaluated in a possible outdoor condition, in view of the full-scale operation at actual sites to be monitored. Additionally, the developed system in this work conveniently provides us with various options of sensor modules intended for monitoring such physical quantities as displacement, distortion, pressure, binary states, and liquid adhesion. Two channels of optical fiber line were monitored in each channel, three displacement sensor modules were connected in series, in order to examine the performance to a pseudo-cracking experiment in the outdoor situation and to clarify temperature influences an the system, in terms of the coupling of optical connectors and the OTDR stability. The results from the pseudo-cracking experiment agreed with the actual cracks, by means of calculation, based an the detected displacement values and their geometrical arrangement of the used sensor modules. The temperature change, ranging from 10 to $20^{\circ}C$ resulting from the 10-days free running operation, was found to influence the system stability of ${\pm}10{\mu}m$, primarily due to the coupling instability of the used optical connectors. It was found that fusion splicing, rather than the use of connectors, reduced the fluctuation dawn to ${\pm}2{\mu}m$. The specification and performance of various option modules have been demonstrated to show the capability of inspecting various physical quantities by use of the single system, which would be suitable for multi-purpose environmental monitoring.

  • When a fire happens in builds or apartments, peoples are tend to be caught in dangerous situations owing to the failure of searching escape route to the outside. In this work, an efficient fire detection and alarm system which makes it possible for the escapers to take adequate actions is proposed. The proposed system consists of two parts. One is fire detection modules which are located at each compartments in a building. The other is fire warning modules equipped with portable flashes having ability of visual/voice warning. Fire detection information is transmitted between each modules wirelessly. In this work, an efficient communication protocol for sensor network-based fire detection system is proposed and its feasibility is verified by practical experiments using MANGO ZDK Development tools

LNG 저장탱크용 환경 센서 모듈을 이용한 유무선 통신 모듈 개발 (Development of Wire/Wireless Communication Modules using Environmental Sensor Modules for LNG Storage Tanks)

  • LNG 저장 작업 중 기계결함, 부주의 등으로 인해 사고가 꾸준히 발생하고 있다. 이전 연구에서는 위험을 미리 감지하는 압력, 온도, 가스 농도, 플로우 측정이 가능한 환경 센서 모듈을 개발하고 누출된 가스량에 따른 응답속도를 측정하였었다. 본 논문에서는 환경 센서 모듈이 측정한 데이터를 SPI, UART, LTE의 유무선 네트워크와 연결된 임베디드 기기들에 안전하게 전송해주는 유무선 통신 모듈의 개발을 제안한다. 먼저 환경 센서와 연동 가능한 데이터 통신 모듈을 설계한다. Local Control Part의 각 장치간 프로토콜과 Local Control Part와 Remote Control Part의 유무선 프로토콜을 설계한다. 이더넷, WiFi, LTE 통신 모듈을 설계하고 임베디드 제어기와 연동 가능한 UART, SPI 채널을 설계하였다. 그 결과, 각 임베디드 기기가 유선, 무선 동시 통신하면서 환경 센서 모듈이 측정한 데이터를 전송함을 UI(User Interface)를 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

모듈화 개념의 퍼스널 로봇 플랫폼 개발 (Development of a Personal Robot Based on Modularization)

  • If a personal robot is popularized like a personal computer in the future, many kinds of robots will appear and the number of manufacturers will increase as a matter of course. In such circumstances, it can be inefficient, in case each manufacturer makes a whole platform individually. The solutions for this problem are to modularize a robot component (hardware and software) functionally and to standardize each module. Each module is developed and sold by each special maker and a consumer purchases desired modules and integrates them. The standardization of a module includes the unification of electrical and mechanical interface. In this paper, the standard interfaces of modules are proposed and CMR(Component Modularized Robot)-P2 made with the modules(brain, sensor, mobile, arm) is introduced. In order to simplify and to make the modules light, a frame is used for supporting a robot and communication/power lines. The name of a method and the way to use that are defined dependently on the standard interfaces in order to use a module in other modules. Each module consists of a distributed object and that can be implemented in the random language and platform. The sensor, mobile and arm modules are developed on Pentium or ARM CPU and embedded Linux OS using the C programming language. The brain module is developed on Pentium CPU and Windows OS using the C, C++ and RPL(Robot Programming Language). Also tasks like pass planning, localization, moving, object perception and face perception are developed. In our test, modules got into gear and CMR-P2 executed various scenarios like guidance, errand and guarding completely.

  • 본 논문에서는 광각렌즈기반의 WDR(Wide Dynamic Range)인 2M(Mega)급 CMOS 이미지 센서를 통해 왜곡영상을 보정하는 카메라 모듈의 설계와 렌즈영상의 성능을 분석한다. 또한, 설계한 광각렌즈모듈의 광각렌즈($176^{\circ}$) 특성으로 인한 왜곡영상의 보정된 결과를 분석하였으며, 카메라 모듈의 스마트 NUX(Natural User eXprience) 활용방안을 제안하였다.
