전달함수합성법을 이용한 민감도 해석 (Sensitivity Analysis using FRF-based Substructuring Method)

  • A general procedure for the design sensitivity analysis of structural dynamic problems has been presented in frame of the FRF-based substructuring formulation. In the procedure, the direct differentiation method is used for the sensitivity formula. For a system response function, the proposed method gives a parametric design sensitivity formula in terms of the partial derivatives of the connection element properties and the transfer matrix of the subsystems. The derived design sensitivity formula is applied to a numerical example. The comparison of sensitivities derived by the proposed method and the finite difference method shows that the proposed method is efficient and accurate.

  • Sensitivity information has been used for linearization of nonlinear functions in optimization. Basically, sensitivity is a derivative of a function with respect to a design variable. Design sensitivity is repeatedly calculated in optimization. Since sensitivity calculation is extremely expensive, there are studies to directly use the sensitivity in the design process. When a small design change is required, an engineer makes design changes by considering the sensitivity information. Generally, the current process is performed one-by-one for design variables. Methods to exploit the sensitivity information are developed. When a designer wants to change multiple variables with some relationship, the directional derivative can be utilized. In this case, the first derivative can be calculated. Only small design changes can be made from the first derivatives. Orthogonal arrays can be used for moderate changes of multiple variables. Analysis of Variance is carried out to find out the regional influence of variables. A flow is developed for efficient use of the methods. The sensitivity information is calculated by finite difference method. Various examples are solved to evaluate the proposed algorithm.

  • 본 논문은 집중 질량 구조물의 천이응답에 대한 시간영역 민감도 해석의 기본 개념을 설명한다. 외부 가진에 따른 구조물의 응답에 미치는 설계변수 변화의 영향을 구하기 위해 시간영역 민감도 함수를 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 시간영역에서 구조물의 설계변수 민감도는 1차 표준 민감도 함수와 백분율 민감도 함수를 통해 확인하였다. 이러한 민감도 함수와 그 계산은 설계변수에 대한 시스템 상태변수의 편미분에 의한 것이다. 또한, 직접 미분법에 의한 해석적 방법의 편미분 결과와 수치적 방법에 의한 결과를 비교하였다.

Experimental and numerical identification of flutter derivatives for nine bridge deck sections

  • This paper presents the results of a study into experimental and numerical methods for the identification of bridge deck flutter derivatives. Nine bridge deck sections were investigated in a water tunnel in order to create an empirical reference set for numerical investigations. The same sections, plus a wide range of further sections, were studied numerically using a commercially available CFD code. The experimental and numerical results were compared with respect to accuracy, sensitivity, and practical suitability. Furthermore, the relevance of the effective angle of attack, the possible assessment of non-critical vibrations, and the formulation of lateral vibrations were studied. Selected results are presented in this paper. The full set of raw data is available online to provide researchers and engineers with a comprehensive benchmarking tool.

새로운 로다민 6G 하이드록시 쿠마린 유도체의 합성과 형광특성 (Synthesis and Fluorescence Properties of New Rhodamine 6G Derivarives Containing Hydroxy Coumarin Moiety)

  • In this study, we synthesized fluorescent sensors from rhodamine 6G derivatives and hydroxy coumarin. The synthetic routes to the rhodamine 6G derivatives containing hydroxy coumarin are shown in Fig. 1. Two derivatives were synthesized through Schiff base reactions. The structures of the new compounds were confirmed by melting point, $^1H$-NMR, and GC-MS analyses. The compounds were found to selectively bind to tin ($Sn^{2+}$) ion by fluorescence titration using various metal cations. Longer carbon chains gave more sensitivity. $Sn^{2+}$ ions exhibited the strongest fluorescence among the nime ions. The binding analysis using Job plots suggested that compounds form 1:1 complexes with the $Sn^{2+}$ ions.

Self-organized Nanogels of Polysaccharide Derivatives in Anti-Cancer Drug Delivery

  • Self-organized nanogels from polysaccharide derivatives offer a promising approach in treatment of cancer due to their flexibility in chemistry and their ability to improve the therapeutic index of a drug by modifying biodistribution by their preferential localization at target sites and lower distribution in normal healthy tissues. These properties have promoted studies of active cancer targeting by self-organized nanogels for even better accumulation in solid tumors. However although many researchers have reported their potential by using cell culture systems and small animal tumor models in cancer therapy, these nanogels need more decoration such as conjugation with targeting moiety and endowment of stimuli-sensitivity for precise targeting of the cancer site. In this review, we summarize the recent efforts in developing novel targeting approaches via active endocytosis and stimuli-sensitive systems responding to hyperthermic or acidic tumor pH conditions.

  • Naphthoquinone-1,2-diazide-5-sulfonyl [NDS]derivatives members of Quinone diazide compound that are utilizable as photoresist for printing plate were synthesized, and photoresist were prepared by mixing these derivatives with a matrix resin(PF, CF) at various weight ratios. Photosensitive characteristics of photoresist were studied by Gray scale method, and SEM to analyze if they can be used as photosensitive material in a printing plate. Experimental results showed using IR, UV, NDS derivatives were photoconverted and developer-soluble photoresist were produced. Photoresist in the mixing ratio of 1:4 of NDS[II] and CF resin gave rise to the highest dissolution rate. In addition, photoresist obtained at this condition resulted in the most superior sensitivity.

  • This paper deals with the application of sensitivity method to the parameter estimation for the dynamic analysis of gener-al mechanical system. In this procedure we take the derivatives of the given system with respect to a certain parameter and use this information to implement the steepest descent method. This paper will give two examples of this technique applied to simple vehicle models. This paper will give two examples of this technique applied to simple vehicle models. Simulation results show excellent convergence and accuracy of parameter estimates.

  • Structural optimization often requires the evaluation of design sensitivities. The Semi Analytic Method(SAM) fur computing sensitivity is popular in shape optimization because this method has several advantages. But when relatively large rigid body motions are identified for individual elements. the SAM shows severe inaccuracy. In this study, the improvement of design sensitivities corresponding to the rigid body mode is evaluated by exact differentiation of the rigid body modes. Moreover. the error of the SAM caused by numerical difference scheme is alleviated by using a series approximation for the sensitivity derivatives and considering the higher order terms. Finally the present study shows that the refined SAM including the iterative method improves the results of sensitivity analysis in dynamic problems.
