The Thickness of a Sensitive Emulsion on the Double Layer Screen Plate (이중층 스크린 인쇄판에 도포된 감광유제의 두께)

  • Is very simple in tension work of screen mesh for effective printing if worker uses screen mesh of player who desire at screen print process. General method is methods that use mesh of player who want on screen frame as screen plate because tensioned. The single layer screen plate was made from one sheet screen mesh and the double layer screen plate was made from two sheets screen mesh overlapped. The thickness of sensitive emulsion applied to double layer screen plate is more thicker than two time s of thickness of emulsion applied to single layer screen plate. It seems that the sensitive emulsion inserted between an upper layer and a lower layer of double layer screen mesh.

  • This review paper is to provide theoretical background and empirical evidence for gender sensitive health policy in Korea. We explore how sex and gender are implicated in health disparities. After reviewing major concepts regarding sex, gender, and health, the study moves on to describe the ways in which gender interacts with other social determinants (socioeconomic position, workplace, stress, social support, and violation) to show disparate health outcomes. Next, suggested health models considering gender and social process are introduced. The article concludes by suggesting the necessity of gender sensitive policy consorted with social programs in tackling health equity.

A Study on the Hybrid Heater Composed of a Temperature Sensitive Ferrite with Low Permeability for Hyperthermia

  • Constant temperature regulation of a hybrid heater which is composed of a temperature sensitive ferrite with low permeability and a Cu tube is investigated for hyperthermia. The temperature sensitive ferrite is inserted into a Cu tube and its length and diameter are 10 mm and 3 mm. Below B=0.05 T, the measured temperature and the calculated one increased with the ratio of $B^{1/2}$ and agreed well with each other. Above B=0.05 T, the measured temperatures maintained constantly almost $50^{\circ}C{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$ because of the influence of Curie temperature of the temperature sensitive ferrite. This result shows that the hybrid heater is able to regulate the temperature constantly at the rate of $50^{\circ}C{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$.

Characterization of Several Transformation-deficient Mutants of Streptococcus pneumoniae in DNA Damage

  • Seventeen transformation-deficient mutants of streptococcus pneumoniae, which are defective in competence induction (com), DNA uptake(ent) of recombination(rec), were investigated to determine sensitivity to ethylmethane sulfonate(EMS), methylmethane sulfonate(MMS), UV and mitomycin C. In ethylmethane sulfonate assay, the viability of most $com^-, \; rec^-\; and ent^-$ mutants was decreased about 2-10 times and the viability of ent-9 and ent-13 mutant was decreased about 33 and 25 times, respectively. On the other hand only half of the transformation-deficient mutants tested was sensitive to methylmethane sulfonate about 2 times and ent-12 mutant was sensitive to 2.0% MMS about 8 times. After UV and mitomycin C treatment, most of the mutants are not sensitive to UV and mitomycin C, although the viability of some transformation-deficient mutants was decreased slightly. Especially none of the com mutants were sensitive to DNA damage suggesting that competence is not involved in DNA repair. Also DNA uptake and recombination gane might be related to DNA repair function.

A Suitable Handoff Scheme for Time Sensitive Service in a W-ATM Network (무선 ATM 망에서 Time Sensitive Service에 적합한 Handoff 방법에 관한 연구)

  • In general, cell transmission delay is more sensitive for real time video service rather than cell losses in a wireless ATM network. Existing handoff schemes, which are emphasizing the prevention of cell losses, have limitations in cell transmission delay to satisfy QoS. In this paper, we propose a scheme to minimize transmission delay generated during the handoff and to maintain the sequence of cells. Transmission delay can be reduced by transmitting ATM cells with low CLP(i.e., CLP=0) prior to others and by discarding cells with high CLP(i.e., CLP= 1). The simulation results show that the proposed scheme is suitable for delay sensitive real time VBR service as well as fast handoff by giving high CLP to less meaningful MPEG frames.

  • A new and useful poly(ethylene oxide)-based pH-sensitive block copolymer is introduced. Poly(ethylene oxide-b-N-phenylmaleimide) was first synthesized by anionic polymerization of N-phenylmaleimide (N-PMI) using mixed alkali metal polymeric alkoxide by sequential monomer addition method in the mixture of benzene/THF/DMSO (10/5/3, v/v/v) at room temperature. Reductive deimidation of the resulting block copolymer was performed using hydrazine monohydrate leading to the formation of the corresponding pH-sensitive poly(ethylene oxide-b-maleic acid).

  • A Synthesis method for multiple-input change transition-sensitive asynchronous sequential circuits is proposed. Both internal states and output states are synthesized from primitive flow tables. It is Btown that cur realization is faster than that of Chuang's. It is pointed out that Chuang's realization of output states contains malfunctions. In this paper, output stales are easily realized from primitive flaw table by the method of controlled excitation.

  • In this paper we study the delivery policy of internet bookstores and recommend the improved policy to increase customer satisfaction and sales revenue. We classify customers into two, the price-sensitive and the delivery time-sensitive, and develop a new shipping method, the unhurried shipping, for the price-sensitive who are reluctant to pay shipping fee for the small purchase but willing to wait extra time for the ordered goods. The customers could get discount on shipping fee by the unhurried shipping but have to accept the longer delivery lead-time. We investigate the possible ways to reduce costs with the prolonged delivery time and show that some costs regarding shipmentand inventory could be saved in order to make up for additional shipping costs for the price-sensitive.

  • A research about finding a new electricity load model that is sensitive to the price of electricity is conducted. This new model i5 polynomial type price sensitive electricity consumption model, while former electricity consumption models have exponential terms or statistic terms. The pattern of electricity consumption of each electricity using devices were identified first, then the proportion of the devices at buses or nodes are investigated, finally weighted sum of electricity consumption and the proportion makes the load model or consumption model of electricity at one bus or node. This new model is easy to use in the simulations or calculations of the electricity consumption, because the arithmetic of functions with polynomial terms are easy compared to the functions with transcendental terms.

  • The study on the development of one-channel gas sensor using the quartz crystal analyzer were attempted. The adsorption and desorption behavior of organic gases were investigated using the resonant frequency and resistance method of quartz crystal. The sensitive materials were deposited on the quartz crystal analyzer(QCA) by using Langmuir-Blodgett method. To investigate the response characteristics of organic vapours and response mechanism, resonant frequency-resonant resistance (F-R) diagram was used. In our experimental results, the response mechanism between sensitive LB film and organic vapours was obtained using F-R diagram. And the position of each organic vapour were different as to the kind and injection amount. Thus F-R diagram can be applied to one-channel gas sensor using the QCA and useful to analyze the response mechanism between organic vspours and sensitive LB films.
