Effects of Restaurant Employees' Sense of Humor on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention (레스토랑 종업원의 유머감각이 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study empirically analyzed the effects of employees' sense of humor on job satisfaction and turnover intention focusing on those who work for restaurants in Seoul to provide preliminary data for effective human resource management in the foodservice industry. In terms of a sense of humor, meta message sensitivity, preference for humor, emotional expression, and coping scale of a sense of humor were drawn as the factors. The findings are as follows. First, among the factors of humor, preference for humor, reaction to humor, and meta message sensibility affected job satisfaction positively in order. On the contrary, emotional expression was found not to affect it. Second, preference for humor and emotional expression affected turnover intention negatively in order whereas meta message sensibility and reaction to humor did not affect it. Therefore, based on the research result that a sense of humor affects job satisfaction and turnover intention, it is needed to recognize the importance of humor and consider evaluation on a sense of humor when screening employees.

A Study on the Wear Fitness of Brassiere (Brassiere의 적합성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find fitness of brassiere by means of body measuring value, its variation volume, the evaluation of perceptive image, and the evaluation of the sense of wearing. The results were as follows; 1) According to comparison for body measuring value before and after wearing brassiere, bust point (B.P.) height, lower bust height, upper chest circumference, chest circumference, and bust depth are increased, and lower chest circumference, bust point breadth, shoulder middle point - B.P., B.P. -under bust, and cup horizontal girth are decreased. 2) The difference of variation volume by material is not accepted. The part above $20\%$ at variation rate is under the region of the armpit, that is, the region connected arm from the back. 3) The subjects replied that they wore the brassiere in order to compensate the breast and needed to wear it regardless of thiness and obesity. They wore the brassiere in order to dress themselves in good shape, and felt that it put pressure upon the body, while it had nothing to do with adjusting bodily temperature and gave the sense of security. 4) The estimate of the sense of wearing by material is recognized as the difference of the attention at attentive level $1\%$. The multiple factor analysis of each item in the sense of wearing showed that the items which are explained over $90\%$ by common factors are '1. Unpreasant in touch', '2. The part of edge is haggard', '15. Not to be fit'.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the accessibility of the SI-Bass Guitar for the visually impaired who uses the Sense Reader which is a screen reader software. An evaluation was performed for the Sense Reader users to do the [Virtual Instrument Editing] task on the NCS(National Competency Standards) using the SI-Bass Guitar. This study shows that the SI-Bass Guitar has no basic accessibility. But the visually impaired can do above task using the Sense Reader's Mouse Pointer and Position Memory Function. Several Propositions are suggested to develop a fully accessible SI-Bass Guitar for the screen users.

  • For developing girls' brassiere, the survey on the actual wearing condition of brassiere for girls aged 9-15 if fulfilled. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) The starting age of the breast growth differs according to regions, schools, grades and body shape. Reason wearing brassiere is to sustain body shape. present brassiere type preferred most is tank-top. Motive wearing brassiere is based on the other's recommendation. Purchasing brassiere is performed largely by mother. 2) Few complaints appeared in the aspects of sewing, hook, loop, wire, wearing sense, touching sense, sweat absorption etc. Evaluation for the brassiere color and design is totally satisfied. When purchasing brassiere, beauty and color are important to all of girls. Yes or No of satisfaction for the wearing sense and comfort of brassiere is answered negatively. 3) Elementary school pupils preferred sport type, While middle school students showed an order as follows-wire

  • Human uses sight, tactile sense to evaluate Total Hand Value(FUUAI) of textile fabrics. Tactile sense is important factor which decided the Total Hand Value of a textile fabric. When human feels the FUUAI, physical and physiological phenomena are occurred in finger. We first found out physical variable that is happened in fingertip when human is feeling the FUUAI. Such physical variable means characteristic of action tactual motion of finger such as moving range, tactile time, moved distance, speed of finger and applied force by finger. We study the relationship between action tactual motion and the ability in which the human distinguishes the textile fabric. As a result, we could know the characteristics of the tactual motion of fingertip to get high distinguishable ability. The characteristics were different in men and women respectively. In the case of man, touched time and moving range influenced to distinguish, and moving range, and the moving speed of finger influenced, in woman's case.

  • This paper describes a 0.13um ultra-high speed 1Mb CMOS SRAM macro with 1.7ns access time. It achieves ultra-high speed operation using two novel approaches. First, it uses process insensitive sense amplifier (Double-Equalized Sense Amplifier) which improves voltage offset by about 10 percent. Secondly, it uses new replica-based sense amplifier driver which improves bit- line evaluation time by about 10 percent compared to the conventional technique. The various memory macros can be generated automatically by using a compiler, word-bit size from 64kb to 1 Mb including repairable redundancy circuits.

  • The riding comfort problem for railway vehicles of conventional line becomes increasingly important under the influence of the opening of Kyungbu high-speed and high-grade railway in 2004. Meaning of the term "riding comfort" of passenger train varies widely. In a narrow sense, the riding comfort means the comfort related to the vehicle vibration. But in a broad sense, the riding comfort means the comfort related to the cabin temperature, noise, illumination, smell, air-conditioning, etc. In this study, the riding comfort in a broad sense is treated and the direction of research for improving the riding comfort is presented.

  • This study intends to propose an evaluation tool for analyzing the sense of immersion of realistic VR game contents in the metabus game industry, which is rapidly increasing recently. This paper presents an analysis tool to measure the degree of immersion after selecting three types VR games for research, and analyzing the immersion way method of the game. The research method analyzes how the user and the sense of immersion formed in the storytelling in the game can have an effect. Based on the results, we present an sense of immersion analysis and measurement method for evaluating the usability of VR game contents, which is a key element in the metaverse era. Furthermore, it expands the immersion element that appears in storytelling to the game industry and seeks a new direction of development through connection with the VR game industry.

  • Performance evaluation is essential for the successful management and operation of MIS. The more MIS grows and relevant investment enlarges, the more performance evaluation grows in importance. However, MIS managers as well as top management still have difficulty in evaluating the performance of MIS. This arises from various reasons, such as the specialty of MIS, diversified influences of MIS, multidimensionality of evaluation items, and the difference between evaluation levels. In this paper, MIS is understood in a broad sense. MIS's scope is of a very wide range from each application system to system innovation view. The MIS should support the firm's objectives, and, consequently, MIS evaluation should be implemented at corporate level, not merely at application system level. The most critical problem of MIS evaluation is that a systematic frame covering various viewpoints and factors of MIS evaluation does not exist. Not a single measure covers all aspects of MIS evaluation. To help resolve this problem, this paper proposes an hierarchical approach for practical use that includes most aspects of evaluation approaches from previous studies, and, furthermore, emphasizes the evaluation of strategic aspects of MIS.

The Subjective Sensibility Evaluation of the S/S Acrylic Fabrics Knitted with Various Blended and Twisted Yarns (혼방 및 연사방법에 따른 춘하용 아크릴 니트소재의 주관적 감성평가)

  • We performed the subjective sensibility evaluation on knitted fabrics by the following procedures: setting acrylic fabrics used for S/S among fabrics as basis, five kinds of blended spun yarns and four kinds of twisted filament yarns made by different twisting methods then, we did questionnaire survey targeting sixty females in the expert groups. Utilizing SPSS 12.0, correlation, ANOVA, Duncan, and Multidimensional Standard way were analyzed. The results are as following. First, the result of evaluating on preferred knits followed by the analysis of the sense factor, in the 'drape sense', the acrylic/rayon blended knit was preferred as the most flexible, pliable, and elastic knit; in weight/bulk factor, the acrylic filament knit the most twisted was preferred as the least bulk, thin, cool and transparent knit; in 'surface depression sense' factor, A(F)W acrylic/wool blended knit was preferred as the most haggard, straight, dry knit. Second, the result of evaluating on preferred knits followed by the analysis of the sensibility factor, in the 'neatness' the acrylic filament hit was preferred as the most clean, neat and delightful knit; in the 'comfortableness', the acrylic/wool blended knit was preferred as the most natural, stable, and comfortable knit. Third, according to the result of evaluating on preferred knits as the spring and summer, generally the acrylic filament twisted yarn knits were more preferred than the acrylic blended yarns. However the preference on the kinds of the acrylic twisted filament yarn showed that there is a little difference on the acrylic blended yarn knit.
