  • In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy and the increasing degree of opening to the outside world, many Chinese people go abroad and many foreign friends come to China. In addition, the exchanges between China and foreign countries are also increasing. Therefore, Chinese culture often conflicts with the culture of other countries and nations. Many foreigners are confused about the psychology and way of thinking of Chinese people. Based on the archetypal theory of Carl Gustav Jung, a famous Swiss psychoanalyst, this paper analyzes the national character of Chinese people, including the common characteristics of Chinese people and the causes of these characteristics. This is a new research angle in the academic field of China. This paper includes the following parts: the first chapter describes the research background and significance of this paper; the second chapter describes Carl Jung's collective unconsciousness theory, including the concept of archetype, shadow, persona, anima and animus, and self; the third chapter explains that the research method adopted in this paper is the literature method; the fourth chapter analyzes the common character of contemporary Chinese from the perspectives of China's political and economic system and modern Chinese history, deeply analyzes how the shadow in collective unconsciousness has a negative impact on Chinese character, analyzes the unique persona of Chinese people on the basis of Chinese culture, and the performance of anima and animus in Chinese character. Finally, it explains how Chinese people seek the balance between inside and outside world from the perspective of self.

  • A new era has come where high quality educational materials can be acquired easily through the World Wide Web. These materials, however, need to be refined and streamlined to maximize their effect on education. In order to provide such a streamlined flow, we need to be able to re-organize documents, which exist independent of each other on the Web, in a way that maintains their appropriate order in the right context to satisfy educational purposes. In addition, we should be able to provide supplementary explanations or missing information to the organized materials for smooth connections among them. In order to meet the requirements, we employed the virtual document concept that allows us to reuse existing documents for educational purposes. By providing a retrieval engine for virtual documents, we attempt to induce self-directed learning based on document retrieval, suitable for the level and purpose of students.

  • In this paper, I am going to analyze a correlation of Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage and the process of remediation on image media. It is because the remediation process of various digital media is letting people pass through one time of mirror stage again. Remediation for the Internet of traditional media, conflict with the virtual world and real world, identification that a virtual image changes a practical image is for it to be caused a remediation process by mutual link of various image media. The Narcissism which occurs in the relation a self with a idealized self searches a new own expression and forms a skillful mania culture. Reflexivity of active mania culture same as a Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage is to be the possibility becoming the feature of media culture of today. However, if digital media culture generation spends extremely wasting time from the image media, these image media generations cannot grow into new future-type man. According to this, it is necessory to have a study on Visual Literacy that it is related to a Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage.

  • Metal problems in herbal medicine are not regulate properly by law and public management around world country until this time. General people belief as safety about herbal since natural material. And almost all persons can also purchase by their-self and use by self-prescription in reality. As this result herbal medicines can always occur acute and chronic toxicity by not proper use problems, side-effect and overdose. Heavy metal toxic diseases in historical view point was big accidents that didnot forget including minamata and itai-itai in Japan. These accident's teach to us must not use toxic metal level and not include or at least Pb Hg As Cd in all kind material use and intake by people, especially herbal. Herbal contamination research is beginner state that had not many papers until nowadays. Even if this pan had some papers, it had negative result and bigger and larger than problems level because of one way research trend of not many sample case-report and screening test of dried herbal form in chiefly. Many persons have afraid and risk thinking about herbal, animal and minerals since these cause. Further research related this subject will be needed at fact of epidemiology including case-control and cohort study for more precision research affecting in short and long term intake of oriental medicines

  • In this paper, Capstone Design Education Program Learning Model was developed and recommended in order to foster convergent talents armed with practical competences and real cooperative capabilities. In this era of convergence and creativity, the fashion world needs human resources with cooperative skills and true professional abilities. A case analysis, an in-depth interview, and 1,2 test method were used for data acquisition and analysis. The summary of this study is described below. First, this program needs to complement the NCS fashion design learning module. Second, material changes to creativity and practical competencies - knowledge, skills, and attitudes - of the students are assessed after applying Capstone Design to the NCS fashion design learning model. Third, the process of converging fashion curriculum with IT and electronic technology, developing a fashion design learning program, and applying the Capstone Design was tested to prove the effectiveness of convergent fashion design education. Among the changes observed between the trial and control groups, it was confirmed that sub-factors of creative personality, i.e. self-assurance and openness, were increased along with knowledge, core competences including communication capability, and self-directed learning capability. The greatest improvement on the technological side was observed in IT literacy while ability to respond to changes was also increased. Besides, effects were demonstrated in behavioral factors such as initiative, spirit of challenge, experience, and openness. Lastly, the Capstone Design Education Program Learning Model was proposed in order to foster convergent talents in the fashion world.

  • The initial shape is arrived at by a self-formation process, which accomplishes a form in the natural world, or is determined analytically by considering the equilibrium of initial stress only. Therefore, the self-formation process, which accomplishes a form in the natural world is grasped and the types of modeling techniques available to find the shapes of soft structures are well investigated and classified. To establish a form-finding modeling techniques, the models of string, soap film, fabric, rubber, plaster, and etc. are used. These modeling techniques can be used as a method of understanding the characteristics of structures when the material of model shows similar characteristics. Generally, the model test confirms the structure based on numerical analysis, at the same time it is important preceding process to develop such a program. With the above process, the relationship between model test and numerical analysis becomes a feedback process. Therefore, in this study, two examples which have been accomplished from such a technique are investigated and considered according to modeling process.

  • This study was intended to answer the question, 'What kinds of effects will be aroused by experiential learning for environment based on living area?'. Experiential learning for environment was operated to 17 elementary school students in 4th grade in Kyeong-san city. The results were drawn analyzing the mind map for the changes of environmental consciousness before and after learning, and they are as below. First, it had an effect to change the meaning association of the relationship between 'river and me'. Meaning association was 'river-a thing' before experiential learning, but it was developed as 'river-a thing-me' after learning. This means that students expanded understanding of the world that they were belonging and self-spatialization was promoted. The expansion of meaning association would be a start point and a method to promote their segmentation for each student. Second, students could self-directly modify misconception and preconception after experiential learning. It showed that students could find meanings in the world that they were belonging by experiential learning for environment, and misconception obtained by concept learning without actual situation could be revised through the truth recognition in meanings, and student could see what things displayed. Therefore preconception would be corrected. Of course, everything would not be completed by just one time of experiential learning, and consistent experience learning should be operated. Third, experiential learning promoted the change of sensitivity. Students had shallow sensitivity, which appeared in the relation with things, since having learned only inside of class without a direct observation. However their sensitivity could be increased by experiencing specific things. Fourth, there was the change of classification recognition. Students found properties of things with a direct observation. It raised their ability to classify things, and to understand an individual thing in 'a class'.

  • Under the inhumane oppression of imperialism, the Third World's political violence has been often represented as an immediate and explosive one with an instant, concentrated visibility. Yet the ecological and psychological exploitation of the Third-World countries by empires, as Rob Nixon insists, shows the relative invisibility of slow violence. This paper is to reveal this slow violence of the marginalized areas symbolized as the lowland. Although Arne Naess' deep ecology promotes the inherent worth of living beings regardless of their instrumental utility to human needs. this paper deals with three postcolonial ecological textbooks which criticize the white-centered deep ecology: Amitav Ghosh's The Glass Palace, Jhumpa Lahiri's The Lowland, and Barbara Kingsolver's The Poisonwood Bible. Through postcolonial critical study, this paper finds out that all these three works have some themes in common. First, these postcolonial works assume a shape of family saga which is parallel to the slow violence of ecological and psychological plundering of empires in the postcolonial countries. Second, like the mangroves which have a tenacious hold on life, these postcolonial people rather overcome the heterogenic challenge with the sturdy and tough mind than defeated. Third, the native people's ethics of earth functions as the stronghold for their respectable lifestyle in their indigenous historicity. Finally, as a big fat brother, the Americanized globalization or neoliberalism is warned as the neocolonialism which is often shown as the disguised pattern of greenwashing. Namely, the people's self-enhancement is always prior to the imperialistic development or neoliberalism in the postcolonial ecological texts which sharply contrast the native's life consciousness and the empire's development theory.

  • COVID-19, a highly infectious disease, has affected the globe tremendously since its outbreak during late 2019 in Wuhan, China. In order to respond to the pandemic, governments around the world introduced a variety of public health measures including contact-tracing, a method to identify individuals who may have come into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient, which usually leads to quarantine of certain individuals. Like many other governments, the South Korean health authorities adopted public health measures using latest data technologies. Key data technology-based quarantine measures include:(1) Electronic Entry Log; (2) Self-check App; and (3) COVID-19 Wristband, and heavily relied on individual's personal information for contact-tracing and self-isolation. In fact, during the early stages of the pandemic, South Korea's strategy proved to be highly effective in containing the spread of coronavirus while other countries suffered significantly from the surge of COVID-19 patients. However, while the South Korean COVID-19 policy was hailed as a success, it must be noted that the government achieved this by collecting and processing a wide range of personal information. In collecting and processing personal information, the data minimum principle - one of the widely recognized common data principles between different data protection laws - should be applied. Public health measures have no exceptions, and it is even more crucial when government activities are involved. In this study, we provide an analysis of how the governments around the world reacted to the COVID-19 pandemic and evaluate whether the South Korean government's digital quarantine measures ensured the protection of its citizen's right to privacy.
