요양보호사의 보상체계가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 - 자기효능감 매개 효과 중심으로 - (Effect of Compensation System on Job Satisfaction for Care-Workers - Focused on the Mediating Effect of Self-efficacy -)

  • 본 연구는 요양보호사의 보상체계가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에서 자기효능감에 대한 매개 효과를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 수도권 소재 노인요양시설과 이용시설 재가복지에 근무하는 요양보호사를 대상으로 설문 조사한 367명의 자료를 SPSS V22.0으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요양보호사의 보상체계에서 월평균급여, 보상 만족, 보상 공정성이 직무 만족에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 요양보호사의 보상체계에서 월평균급여, 보상 만족, 보상공정은 자기효능감에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 요양보호사의 자기효능감이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향은 긍정적으로 나타났다. 넷째, 요양보호사의 보상체계에서 월평균급여, 보상 만족, 보상공정은 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에서 자기효능감은 긍정적인 매개 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 요양보호사의 보상체계에서 월평균급여, 보상 만족, 보상공정이 높을수록 자기효능감에 정적인 영향을 미치고, 이런 자기효능감은 요양보호사의 직무만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 밝혔다.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was two-fold: to identify the effect of dental hygienist's self-determination motivation on their job engagement and to analyze the moderating effect of compensation satisfaction that affect the relevance. Methods : Data were collected using a structured self-report questionnaire administered to 260 dental hygienists working in dental hospitals and clinics in Busan, South Korea. These were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26.0 and SPSS Process Macro 3.5. A frequency analysis, including the respondents' general characteristics, frequency, percentages, and standard deviations, was performed. A regression analysis was also performed using SPSS Process Macro to verify the moderating effect of compensation satisfaction in the effect of self-determination motivation on job engagement. Results : The self-determination motivation of the dental hygienists had a statistically significant positive effect on their job engagement, which was the dependent variable. Higher intangible compensation satisfaction levels led to a stronger effect of intrinsic motivation but a weaker effect of extrinsic motivation on job engagement. Moreover, higher tangible compensation satisfaction levels strengthened the effect of intrinsic motivation on job engagement. Conclusion : Recently, the demand for oral health care has been increasing, Competition in the dental medical service market warrants, high-quality dental services based on accurate diagnosis and treatment. In this context, dental hygienists' job engagement must be improved. For this purpose, increasing the satisfaction of dental hygienists with self-determination motivation and appropriate compensation is effective. In addition, attention must be paid to the moderating effect of compensation satisfaction on the relationship between intrinsic motivation and job engagement. On the basis of the implications of this study, the results can be used as basic data for improving dental hygienists' welfare system and manpower management.

간호사의 셀프리더십과 간호업무성과간의 관계 (The Relation between Self-leadership and Outcome of Nursing Practice)

  • Purpose: This study was undertaken in order to suggest self-leadership as a way to promote organization efficiency of nursing organization. So the relation between self-leadership and outcome of nursing practice in organization was studied. Method: The subjects of study were nurses as a population who were working for the 2 of university hospitals which have over 500 beds in Kyong Ki Province as well as who have been working for over 6 months. The data was collected by questionnaires from 215 nurses and analyzed using descriptive statistics, perason correlation coefficient, t-test and ANOVA on SAS Program. Results: Self-leadership of nurse got 3.51 grade out of 5 as a mean point. Each of the segments got 3.74 in self-compensation, 3.57 in self-expectation, 3.53 in goal-setting, 3.45 in rehearsal, 3.37 in self-criticism and 3.30 in constructive thinking in order. Independent performance of nursing practice at each items of outcome of nursing practice showed the highest correlations with the self-expectation among self-leadership segments. Constructive thinking, self-compensation, rehearsal, goal-setting were related like this in order, but self-criticism was related just a little. Dependent nursing practice has the highest correlation with the self-expectation, goal-setting, rehearsal, constructive thinking, self-compensation were similar as aboves in order, but self-criticism didn't show any similar correlations. Relationship practice has the highest correlation with the self-expectation, and goal-setting, constructive thinking, self-compensation, rehearsal were similar, while self-criticism did not show any correlations. Conclusion: In conclusion the result was obtained that self-leadership is much correlated with outcome of nursing practice. Therefore, as a way to promote efficiency of nursing organization, the constant study about self-leadership with the various aspects is needed focusing on self-management and inner motivation as a new leadership paradigm.

산재근로자의 주관적 건강회복 수준에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (Factors Affecting the Level of Self-Perceived Health Recovery among Injured Workers)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting the level of subjective health recovery among injured workers. The aim in this study was to find an efficient worker's compensation service for subjective health recovery among injured workers. Methods : From the 1st panel study of worker's compensation insurance, data for 2,000 injured workers was analyzed with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. Results : There was a statistically significant difference in the level of self-perceived health recovery depending on socio-demographic characteristics, disability characteristics and medical care services. Factors such as gender, education level, socio-economic level, disability level, claim duration, and treatment duration appropriacy affected the level of self-perceived health recovery. Conclusions : Worker's compensation services should take into consideration the factors that affect the health recovery of injured workers.

Characteristics of Compensation for Distorted Optical Pulse with Initial Frequency Chirp in 3 X 40 Gbps WDM Systems Adopted Mid-Span Spectral Inversion

  • In this paper, we investigated the degree of compensation for distorted optical pulse of wavelength division multiplexed(WDM) channel with initial frequency chirp generated in optical transmitter. The WDM channel signal distortion is due to chromatic dispersion, self phase modulation(SPM) and cross phase modulation(XPM) in fiber. The considered system is 3 ${\times}$ 40 Gbps intensity modulation direct detection(IM/DD) WDM transmission systems, which adopted mid-span spectral inversion(MSSI) as compensation method. We confirmed that the effect of initial frequency chirp on compensation for signal distortion due to a SPM is gradually decreased as a dispersion coefficient of fiber becomes gradually small. But, in the aspect of a compensation for signal distortion due to both SPM and XPM, the effect of initial frequency chirp on compensation is gradually decreased as a dispersion coefficient of fiber becomes gradually large.

우리나라 어업손실 보상제도에 대한 개선방안연구;-경제적 접근방법을 중심으로- (An Economic Approach to Compensation Practices for Fisheries Damages of Korea)

  • Coastal economic activities usually generate externalities to other economic activities. The conflicts between coastal economic activities, especially land fillings and reclamations, and fisheries in coastal waters pose a typical one, which sometimes causes some social conflicts. In this regard, as the contents and requirements for rules and regulations on fisheries compensation may have important implications for solving such problems, important is to review rationales fur the formulas in calculating fisheries compensation. The purpose of this paper is to review the formulas for fisheries compensation from the economic view points, to highlight some problems and to suggest more appropriate formulas. It is found that the current formulas of fisheries compensation are not properly based on economic concepts and valuation techniques. Main problems are related, as followings, to the coefficient(0.8) employed in the formula, to fishermen's own wages and to current values of invested assets such as fishing boats and nets, etc.. First, it is not clear what the coefficient(0, 8) means. In Japan's case, the coefficient was assumed to reflect the opportunity cost of fishermen's own wages, but it was disappeared from the formula after the self-wage came to be included in totaling fishing cost. As our new formula will include the self-wage in fishing cost, the coefficient(0.8) should be excluded. Second, according to our formula, the current value of invested assets is added to total operating compensation, which will overestimate total compensation. Therefore, it is suggested that total present value of the assets to be invested during the business life should be deducted from total operating compensation. Third, as the self-wage will be included in total cost, opportunity cost for finding new jobs should be newly added to the formula. Finally, this paper also conducted a comparative case study considering above-mentioned factors. The case study showed that the current formulas overestimated total fisheries compensation.

수축보상을 위한 자기충전 콘크리트의 현장적용 (A Field Application of the Self-Compaction Concrete for Shrinkage Compensation)

  • The purpose of this study is to design and to apply the self-compaction concrete mixture to field, having not only high strength but also compensation for shrinkage without thermal crack under 4 sides outer restraint of the member. In the experimental mix, replacement ratio of limestone Powder, CSA expansive additives, and unit water were selected as parameters, using portland blast-furnace slag cement. And, bleeding test, expansibility test, hydration heat analysis were performed. As a results, when Cement is replaced with 35% limestone Powder, 6% CSA expansive additives at unit water 175kg/$m^3$, demanded performances of fresh and hardened self-compaction concrete are accomplished in the field application.

Self-Interference Cancellation for Shared Band Transmission in Nonlinear Satellite Communication Channels

  • For efficient spectral utilization of satellite channels, a shared band transmission technique is introduced in this paper. A satellite transmits multiple received signals from a gateway and terminal in the common frequency band by superimposing the signals. To improve the power efficiency as well as the spectral efficiency, a travelling wave tube amplifier in the satellite should operate near the saturation level. This causes a nonlinear distortion of the superimposed transmit signal. Without mitigating this nonlinear effect, the self-interference cannot be properly cancelled and the desired signal cannot be demodulated. Therefore, an adaptive compensation scheme for nonlinearity is herein proposed with the proper operation scenario. It is shown through simulations that the proposed shared band transmission approach with nonlinear compensation and self-interference cancellation can achieve an acceptable system performance in nonlinear satellite channels.

일부 치위생과 학생들의 셀프리더십이 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향 (Effect of self-leadership on stress coping in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : This study examined the stress-coping methods used by Dental Hygiene students according to their degree of self-leadership to provide basic data for students' self-leadership training programs. Methods : Dental Hygiene students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed to measure their self-leadership in six categories-self-expectation, rehearsal, goal-setting, self-compensation, self-criticism, and constructive thinking-sand, in four categories-sproblem-centered coping, social support coping, emotional coping, and wishful thinking coping-son a scale of 1 through 5. Results : The findings of the study were as follows: The overall average score of self-leadership was 3.34 and the scores for each subfactor were 3.82 for self-compensation, 3.57 for self-expectation, 3.44 for rehearsal, 3.42 for goal-setting, 3.30 for self-criticism, and 3.12 for constructive thinking. The overall average score of stress-coping was 3.29 out of 5 and the scores for active coping were 3.14 for problem-centered coping and 3.38 for social support coping and for passive coping were 3.69 for wishful thinking coping and 2.95 for emotional coping. Self-leadership showed significant difference in terms of satisfaction with major and motivation for application. The six sub-factors of self-leadership and problem-centered coping and wishful thinking coping, the sub-factors of stress-coping, had significant correlations. Self-compensation and constructive thinking were significant factors of self-leadership that affect stress-coping. Conclusions : Based on the above findings, it was found that Dental Hygiene students' self-leadership is related to the use of efficient stress-coping. Therefore, it would be necessary to develop and apply educational approaches to improve their self-leadership so they can efficiently cope with various stressors that they will face after finding jobs.

방사선사의 초음파검사 시 체감하는 직무만족도의 구조적 관계 해석 (Analysis of Structural Relationship of Job Satisfaction Levels Felt in Ultrasound Examination by Radiological Technologists)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationship between job satisfaction levels felt during ultrasound examination of radiological technologists (RTs) using a structural equation model. The subjects were a total of 203 RTs currently working in medical institutions. The method was conducted as a survey study using a questionnaire consisting of a total of 29 questions consisting of demographic characteristics and job satisfaction levels that were self-efficacy, job competency, extrinsic compensation, and job satisfaction. The reliability was secured with the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.6 or higher. For statistical analysis, a significant difference between the frequency analysis of demographic characteristics and the mean of the job satisfaction levels were performed by independent sample T-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Scheffe's post hoc test. The correlation analysis between variables was tested with Spearman's and Pearson's correlation coefficient. We analyzed the structural relationships between variables by structural equations. As a result, first, job competency and extrinsic compensation had a positive effect on job satisfaction on ultrasound examination of RTs. Second, the self-efficacy of ultrasound examination RTs showed a high correlation with job competency. Third, the job satisfaction levels showed in the order of job competency, job satisfaction, self-efficacy, and extrinsic compensation. In conclusion, this study are expected to be provided as data to identify factors that could improve job satisfaction during ultrasound examination of RTs by empirically analyzing the structural relationship of self-efficacy, job competency, and external compensation.
