  • Computers used fer light-weight computing environments are considerably limited in resources and performance running in ubiquitous environment. Because of the limited resources, it is difficult to apply existing security technologies to the light-weight computers. In this paper, light-weight security software is implemented using RC-5 encryption and SHA-1 authentication algorithm which is appropriate for light-weight computing environments. The design of components based on security software of a light-weight computer application and the test-bed for security software are presented. The simulation verifies the correctness of the security software. The architecture of the light-weight and reconfigurable security software for light-weight computer applications is proposed. The proposed security software is small size and provides reconfigurable security library based on the light-weight component and the software manager that configures software platform is loaded with the library at the time it is needed.

  • In the past, when the personal information leakage incident of the three card companies, the computer program development was followed by the same strict electronic financial supervision regulations as the operating environment. However, when developing a computerized program, the application data is being verified with the integrity of the test data being compromised because the identification of the scope of conversion of the test data associated with the application is unclear. Therefore, in this paper, we proved by presenting a process and algorithm for selecting a range of sufficient test data conversion targets associated with a specific application.

  • As rehabilitation psychology analysis system which manages examination information becoming more popular, interoperability, portability and security are becoming major concerns of modern computing. We propose a security model on the type information based access control system for rehabilitation psychology analysis that can enhance both security and availability by separating the functions delivered from object-oriented databases to solve these problems. We apply the access control model specifically to enhancement of security system and also perform a test to verify the security and availability of our model.

  • In this paper, we propose a new discrete logarithm problem(DLP) based on the class semigroups of imaginary quadratic non-maximal orders using the special character of non-invertible ideal and analysis its security. To do this, we first explain the mathematical background explicitly and prove some properties of Cls (O) which relate to constructing the DLP and guaranteeing the security. To test the security of the proposed DLP, we compare the class number of the maximal order with that of the non-maximal order and investigate the unique factorization problems of ideals between class groups of the maximal orders and class semigroups of non-maximal orders to ensure the security of the cryptosystem.

  • This study aimed to analyze evidence of the effect of perceived ease-of-use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security on the citizen's intention to use e-Filing with information technology readiness as an intervening variable. This study used primary data collected from Civil Servants Taxpayers, Indonesian National Armed Forces, and State Police of the Republic of Indonesia in Semarang City. One hundred fifty questionnaires were distributed, and 126 were processed and analyzed. The multiple linear regression and path analysis were employed to test the hypotheses. The results indicated that perceived ease-of-use and perceived security had a positive effect on the use of e-Filing, while perceived usefulness has no effect on the use of e-Filing. In addition, readiness of information technology did not mediate the relationships among the perceived ease-of-use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security on the use of e-Filing. This study implies that Directorate General of Taxes, as a provider of e-Filing services, may improve the quality of e-Filing, especially in terms of ease and security. It is because, based on the results of this study, both aspects have been empirically proven to be able to increase intention to use e-Filing in reporting the annual notification letter.

  • Deterministic techniques have been applied in power system planning for many years and there is a growing interest in combining these techniques with probabilistic considerations to assess the increased system stress due to the restructured electricity environment. The overall reliability framework proposed in this paper incorporates the deterministic N-1 criterion in a probabilistic framework, and results in the joint inclusion of both adequacy and security considerations in system planning. The combined framework is achieved using system well-being analysis and traditional adequacy assessment. System well-being analysis is used to quantify the degree of N-1 security and N-1 insecurity in terms of probabilities and frequencies. Traditional adequacy assessment is Incorporated to quantify the magnitude of the severity and consequences associated with system failure. The concepts are illustrated by application to two test systems. The results based on the overall reliability analysis framework indicate that adequacy indices are adversely affected by a generation deficient environment and security indices are adversely affected by a transmission deficient environment. The combined adequacy and security framework presented in this paper can assist system planners to realize the overall benefits associated with system modifications based on the degree of adequacy and security, and therefore facilitate the decision making process.

  • Wireless access network section needs strong security which supports high data rate and mobility not to invade patient's privacy by exposing patient's sensitive biometric from automatic implantable device that is adapted to u-healthcare service. This paper builds test bed and performs assessment and measurement of security ability of WiMAX network to transmit and receive mobile patient's biometric by building WiMAX network in wireless access network not to expose paitne's biometirc at wireless access network section to the third person. Specially, this paper compares and assesses data security, MAC control message security, handover conection delay, and frame loss and bandwidth of ECDH at the layer of WiMAX security compliance, WiMAX MAC IPSec, and MAC.

  • It need estimation model who is efficient and estimate correctly organization's information security level to achieve effectively organization's information security target. Also, estimate class information security level for this and need reformable estimation indicator or standard and estimation methodology of information security systems that application is possible should be studied in our country. Therefore many research centers including ISO are preparing the measuring and evaluating method for network duality. This study will represent an evaluating model for network security based on checklist. In addition, we propose ah measuring and evaluating method for network performance. The purpose of two studies is to present the evaluating procedure and method for measuring security of network on set workwill be identified and a measuring method and procedure will be proposed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relation of security officers' martial arts training and job performance. To this end, we conducted surveys on security practitioners. The questionnaire consisted of three variables, "necessity of martial arts training, application to practical security work, improvement of job satisfaction". In this study for reliability analysis, Chronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated. In order to verify the validity of the measured variables, exploratory factors were analyzed using the Berimax method. Both AVE and CR values of the measured variables were above the reference value of 0.5, indicating that the convergence validity was good. As a result of the hypothesis test, the standardization coefficient is 0.636 for "need for training in martial arts training${\Rightarrow}$practical security work", 0.986 for "practical security work${\Rightarrow}$job satisfaction improving", and the relationship between the two hypotheses is positive(+). In order to improve the job satisfaction of security-related practitioners, it seems necessary to raise the need for martial arts training.
