Autoregressive Cross-Lagged Analysis on Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of Security Employees - Utilization of Korean Labor and Income Panel Study - (보안업 종사자의 조직몰입과 직무만족에 관한 자기회귀교차지연 분석 - 한국노동패널자료의 활용 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the longitudinal causal relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction, focusing on security related workers. For this purpose, the Korean Labor and Income panel data were classified into security employees. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 20.0, and validity and reliability analysis were conducted before hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis show that organizational commitment at time t-1 has a positive effect on organizational commitment at time t, and that job satisfaction at time t-1 has a positive effect on job satisfaction at time t Respectively. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The organizational commitment has a significant effect on the job satisfaction. 2) The effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment was also significant 3) The cross-lagged coefficients show that organizational commitment precedes job satisfaction and serves as a predictor

  • Consumer-centric marketing business is surely one of the most successful emerging business but it poses a threat to personal privacy. Between the service provider and the user there are many contrary issues to each other. The enterprise asserts that to abuse the privacy data which is anonymous there is not a problem. The individual only will not be able to willingly submit the problem which is latent. Web traffic analysis technology itself doesn't create issues, but this technology when used on data of personal nature might cause concerns. The most criticized ethical issue involving web traffic analysis is the invasion of privacy. So we need to inspect how many and what kind of personal informations being used and if there is any illegal treatment of personal information. In this paper, we inspect the operation of consumer-centric marketing tools such as web log analysis solutions and data gathering services with web browser toolbar. Also we inspect Microsoft explorer-based toolbar application which records and analyzes personal web browsing pattern through reverse engineering technology. Finally, this identified and explored security and privacy requirement issues to develop more reliable solutions. This study is very important for the balanced development with personal privacy protection and web traffic analysis industry.

  • Video security systems change from analog based systems to network based CCTVs. Therefore, such network based systems are always exposed not only to threats of eavesdropping and hacking, but to personal damage or public organizations' damage due to image information leakage. Therefore, in order to solve the problem, this study conducts a comparative analysis on proposes the optimal ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptography) scalar multiplication algorithms for image information protection in data communication process and thereby proposes the optimal operation algorithm of video security system.

  • Evaluating performance in public sector aims to enhance the efficiency of organizations. Evaluating the efficiency which is the ratio between input and output, organizations set directions of improvement. This research applied Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) useful to evaluating the efficiency of organizations in public sector. Decision Making Units(DMU) of this research are 21 Information Security Organizations of departments/agencies. As the results, the mean of efficiency score of 21 DMUs is a little more than 50%. Means of departments(8 DMUs) and agencies/committees(11 DMUs) are similar to the total efficiency score. For these results, the decision makers of the information security organizations in public sector have to strive to improve the inefficiency.

Static Analysis Tools Against Cross-site Scripting Vulnerabilities in Web Applications : An Analysis

  • Reports of rampant cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities raise growing concerns on the effectiveness of current Static Analysis Security Testing (SAST) tools as an internet security device. Attentive to these concerns, this study aims to examine seven open-source SAST tools in order to account for their capabilities in detecting XSS vulnerabilities in PHP applications and to determine their performance in terms of effectiveness and analysis runtime. The representative tools - categorized as either text-based or graph-based analysis tools - were all test-run using real-world PHP applications with known XSS vulnerabilities. The collected vulnerability detection reports of each tool were analyzed with the aid of PhpStorm's data flow analyzer. It is observed that the detection rates of the tools calculated from the total vulnerabilities in the applications can be as high as 0.968 and as low as 0.006. Furthermore, the tools took an average of less than a minute to complete an analysis. Notably, their runtime is independent of their analysis type.

  • Recently, as a countermeasure for cyber breach attacks and confidential leak incidents on PC hard disk memory storage data of the metaverse industry, it is required when reviewing and developing a remote-based regular/real-time monitoring and analysis security system.   • Recently, enterprises have reinforced security control in order to prevent infringement of personal information and abuse of customer information by insiders. However, the reinforcement of security control by enterprises makes it difficult for internal users to perform business by using a business information system. There is, therefore, a need for research on various fields, which makes it possible to establish an appropriate security control policy while minimizing an impact on business. The present research verifies and analyzes an impact on difficulty in business of internal users using customer information, which is caused by security control performed by display restriction on customer information identifiers. The present research is intended to academically develop a technique for statistically analyzing an impact degree and a causal relationship between security control and an impact on business, which is a dichotomous variable, and to practically contribute to the establishment of an efficient security policy in consideration of an impact on business when an enterprise applies security control. A research target was internal business information systems of domestic securities enterprises, data was collected by questionnaire, and verification/analysis was performed by logistic regression analysis.

  • Recently, the investment and study competition regarding machine running is accelerating mainly with Google, Amazon, Microsoft and other leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence. The security weakness of virtualization technology security structure have been a serious issue continuously. Also, in most cases, the internal data security depend on the virtualization security technology of platform provider. This is because the existing software, hardware security technology is hard to access to the field of virtualization and the efficiency of data analysis and processing in security function is relatively low. This thesis have applied user significant information to machine learning algorithm, created security authentication vector able to learn to provide with a method which the security authentication can be conducted in the field of virtualization. As the result of performance analysis, the interior transmission efficiency of authentication vector in virtualization environment, high efficiency of operation method, and safety regarding the major formation parameter were demonstrated.

  • Multimedia service whose use is rapidly increasing supports effective services to convert and transmit multimedia data based on network speed, noise circumstance, terminal computation, and type of contents for satisfying QoS. For supporting information protection of multimedia service, it offers middle level of singular security service or security mechanism which is based on policy of service provider, depending on present terminal computation and type of contents. It can support security mechanism for more effective multimedia service, if we study security of application layer and network layer for supporting multimedia service. In this paper, we propose Multimedia security framework reflected on quantitative analysis of the WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) mesh network security using the utility function in the level of the sorority, violation and addictive compensation model.

  • The security control is to protect IT system from cyber infringement by deriving valid result values in the process of gathering and analyzing various information. Currently, security control is very effective by using SIEM equipment which enables analysis of systematic and comprehensive viewpoint based on a lot of data, away from analyzing cyber threat information with only fragmentary information. However, It can also be said that cyber attacks are analyzed and coped with the manual work of security personnel. This means that even if there is excellent security equipment, the results will vary depending on the user using. In case of operating a characteristic web service including information provision, This study suggests the basic point of security control through characteristics information analysis, and proposes a model for intensive security control through the type discovery and application which enable a step-wise analysis and an effective filtering. Using this model would effectively detect, analyze and block attacks.
