  • As the usage of Internet grows, we share many informations among the others and use more database systems for a various type of data. However, secure database system, which prevents the unauthorized users from modification, deletion, and access, is urgently required for sharing data in Internet. Conventional technologies of a data security are passive methods which depend on several steps with an access control, and these methods are vulnerable against the illegal attack because attacker can see the plain text that is private message. To prevent private data item for the special security from the malicious attack in web database, this paper is devoted to implement database system using steganography method, so we can protect the data item completely because attacker cannot know the secure message although he get the content of database.

  • IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) RFC 2069 recommend to accept the DAA(Digest Access Authentication) scheme ill the HTTP 1.1(Hype. Text Transfer Protocol 1.1). When the client want to access the protected URI resources with Web Server, the BAA scheme is not considered to be a secure method of user authentication, as the user name and password are passed over the network as clear text. But, The DAA scheme is proposed to create a access authentication method which avoids the serious flaws of BAA(ie, passed over the network as clear text). The flaw of DAA is not supported the confidentiality services between client and server. This paper is proposed a confidentiality service scheme for HTTP environment, as an extension to DAA

  • Recently, a variety of attacks on web services have been occurring through a multiple access environment such as PC, tablet, and smartphone. These attacks are causing various subsequent damages such as online fraud transactions, takeovers and theft of accounts, fraudulent logins, and information leakage through web service vulnerabilities. Creating a new fake account for Fraud attacks, hijacking accounts, and bypassing IP while using other usernames or email addresses is a relatively easy attack method, but it is not easy to detect and block these attacks. In this paper, we have studied a method to detect online fraud transaction and obsession by identifying and managing devices accessing web service using web-based device fingerprinting. In particular, it has been proposed to identify devices and to manage them by scoring process. In order to secure the validity of the proposed scheme, we analyzed the application cases and proved that they can effectively defend against various attacks because they actively cope with online fraud and obtain visibility of user accounts.

  • The ontology is the underlying knowledge base to create the semantic web. Prerequisites for the success of the semantic web include widespread uses/sharing/merging of ontologies. In addition, it is very crucial to secure the integrity of ontology instances such as instance-identifying/referring integrity, and attribute domain constraints. In terms of ensuring instance-identifying integrity, OWL provides owl:sameAs property which is used to connect two separate ontology instances in order to represent that the two instances are the same. Recent semantic web works, however, have not sufficiently investigated the issues one may face in applying owl:sameAs to real semantic web applications. This study introduces our experiences of sameAs in developing a semantic web service framework for a research domain.

  • Utilization of web application has been widely spread and complication in recent years by the rapid development of network technologies and changes in the computing environment. The attack being target of this is increasing and the means is diverse and intelligent while these web applications are using to a lot of important services. In this paper, we proposed security model using virtualization technology to prevent attacks using vulnerabilities of web application. The request information for query in a database server also can be recognized by conveying to the virtual web server after ID is given to created session by the client request and the type of the query is analyzed in this request. VM-Master module is constructed in order to monitor traffic between the virtual web servers and prevent the waste of resources of Host OS. The performance of attack detection and resource utilization of the proposed method is experimentally confirmed.

  • Providing web-based information literacy is a new turning point in the library instruction. After 2005 many university libraries are adopted to web-based information literacy. However as a result of research found out that initial problems of introduction to web-based information literacy are shown such as the lack of interest and motivation causing factor, the simplicity of providing method and so on. In order to maximize the effectiveness of web-based information literacy, working out in the way how to use library, how to search, demand of information, information ethics are the factors which should be constructed in the overall content aspect of web-based information literacy. Also, understanding and analysis of the tendency of users through the provision of diversity, flexibility of IT technology is based on a secure, and the need to pursue a variety of media are the factors which should be needed the way how to provide.

  • Recently the use router is to allow multiple computers by one IP can be connect to the Internet. Also, the PC or server in order to use a Web server or a print server, Web Hard, P2P should be settings. In this paper, we are building a multi-functional Web server that using a router supported OpenWRT based on network settings and firewall settings and a variety of services. A web server can be provided the Internet phone and secure multimedia service Web server router based OpenWRT may be provided through a mobile app and the PC application service.

  • WPA2-PSK uses a 4-way handshake protocol based on a shared secret to establish a secure session between a client and an AP. It has various security problems such as eavesdropping attacks and the secure session establishment process is inefficient because it requires multiple interactions between client and AP. The WPA3 standard has recently been proposed to solve the security problem of WPA2, but it is a small improvement using the same 4-way handshake methodology. OAuth 2.0 token authentication is widely used on the web, which can be used to keep an authenticated state of a client for a long time by using tokens issued to an authenticated client. In this paper, we apply the dual-token based randomized token authentication technology to the Wi-Fi security protocol to achieve an efficient Wi-Fi security protocol by dividing initial authentication and secure session establishment. Once a client is authenticated and equipped with dual tokens issued by AP, it can establish secure session using them quickly with one message exchange over a non-secure channel.

  • With the advancement in the area of cloud storage services as well as a tremendous growth of social networking sites, permission for one web service to act on the behalf of another has become increasingly vital as social Internet services such as blogs, photo sharing, and social networks. With this increased cross-site media sharing, there is a upscale of security implications and hence the need to formulate security protocols and considerations. Recently, OAuth, a new protocol for establishing identity management standards across services, is provided as an alternative way to share the user names and passwords, and expose personal information to attacks against on-line data and identities. Moreover, OwnCloud provides an enterprise file synchronizing and sharing that is hosted on user's data center, on user's servers, using user's storage. We propose a secure Social Networking Site (SSN) access based on OAuth implementation by combining two novel concepts of OAuth and OwnCloud. Security analysis and performance evaluation are given to validate the proposed scheme.
