Wireless Ad hoc Network is threatened from many types of attacks because of its open structure, dynamic topology and the absence of infrastructure. Attacks by malicious nodes inside the network destroy communication path and discard packet. The damage is quite large and detecting attacks are difficult. In this paper, we proposed attack detection technique using secure authentication infrastructure for efficient detection and prevention of internal attack nodes. Cluster structure is used in the proposed method so that each nodes act as a certificate authority and the public key is issued in cluster head through trust evaluation of nodes. Symmetric Key is shared for integrity of data between the nodes and the structure which adds authentication message to the RREQ packet is used. ns-2 simulator is used to evaluate performance of proposed method and excellent performance can be performed through the experiment.

As users generate lots of contents independently of time and places anytime and anywhere together with a rapid development of mobile wireless communication technologies and an explosive dissemination of smart devices, content centric networking (CCN) has emerged as a new networking architecture. However, as CCN is based on one to one message exchanges, it is not appropriate for ad hoc network environment that has frequent network topology changes, which results in high control overhead and low transmission throughput. So, this paper proposes the new content sharing methods using group interest messages in CCN ad hoc environment. It is shown from the simulation that the proposed method can provide low control overhead and high transmission throughput.

The HC-128 stram cipher which selected for the final eSTREAM portfolio is suitable for mobile Ad-Hoc network environments because of the ability of high-speed encryption in restricted memory space. In this paper, we analyzed the vulnerability of side channel analysis attack on HC-128 stream cipher. At the first, we explain a flaw of previous theoretical analysis result which defined the complexity of side-channel attack of HC-128 stream cipher as 'low' and then re-evaluate the security against side-channel attack by estimating the concrete complexity for recovering the secret key. As a result, HC-128 stream cipher is relatively secure against side-channel attack since recovering the secret key have $2^{65}$ computation complexity which is higher than other stream cipher's one.

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) enable wireless communication between vehicles and roadside infrastructure to provide a safer and more efficient driving environment. However, due to VANETs wireless nature, vehicles are exposed to several security attacks when they join the network. In order to protect VANETs against misbehaviours, one of the vital security requirements is to revoke the misbehaved vehicles from the network. Some existing revocation protocols have been proposed to enhance security in VANETs. However, most of the protocols do not efficiently address revocation issues associated with group signature-based schemes. In this paper, we address the problem by constructing a revocation protocol particularly for group signatures in VANETs. We show that this protocol can be securely and efficiently solve the issue of revocation in group signature schemes. The theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate our work is secure against adversaries and achieves performance efficiency and scalability.

The study aims to propose the intelligent clustering technique that calculates the distance by improving the problems of multi-hop clustering technique for inter-vehicular secure communications. After calculating the distance between vehicles with no connection for rapid transit and clustering it, the connection between nodes is created through a set distance vale. Header is selected by the distance value between nodes that become the identical members, and the information within a group is transmitted to the member nodes. After selecting the header, when the header is separated due to its mobility, the urgent situation may occur. At this time, the information transfer is prepared to select the new cluster header and transmit it through using the intelligent cluster provided from node by the execution of programs included in packet. The study proposes the cluster technique of the intelligent distance estimation for the mobile Ad-hoc network that calculates the cluster with the Store-Compute-Forward method that adds computing ability to the existing Store-and-Forward routing scheme. The cluster technique of intelligent distance estimation for the mobile Ad-hoc network suggested in the study is the active and intelligent multi-hop cluster routing protocol to make secure communications.
Along with the rapid development of the wireless network (Wireless Network) technology for secure wireless communications, security problems have emerged as an important issue. In order to operate the wireless network intrusion detection system detects the agent installed on each wireless node should be. Ad-hoc network structures scattered in the AP over a wireless network without the node is a structure that makes it possible to communicate to connect. Intrusion detection agent to be installed on the node, and the corresponding energy consumption occurs when the survival time is reduced. On a node that can monitor a lot of traffic in order to increase the effect of intrusion detection, an intrusion detection agent should be placed. Therefore, in this paper, by taking advantage of the structure of Ad-hoc wireless network, considering the maximum living time of the network, while at the same time, the effectiveness of intrusion detection and intrusion detection by proposing a plan for installing the agent. Also improve the system performance by reducing the network load on each network, a system designed for data aggregation to reduce data redundancy, network energy consumption by reducing.

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are self-organized networks that do not rely in their operation on wired infrastructure. As in any networking technology, security is an essential element in MANET as well, for proliferation of this type of networks. But supporting secure communication in MANETs proved to be a significant challenge, mainly due to the fact that the set of nodes in the network can change frequently and rapidly and due to the lack of access to the wired infrastructure. In particular, the trust model and the authentication protocols, which were developed for wired and infrastructure-based networks, cannot be used in MANETs. In this paper, we address the problem of efficient authentication of distributed mobile users in geographically large networks. In particular, we propose a new authentication scheme for this case of MANETs. The proposed scheme exploits Randomized Groups to efficiently share authentication information among nodes that together implement the function of a distributive Certification Authority (CA). We then evaluate the performance of authentication using Randomized Groups.
A Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET) is a multi hop wireless network with no prepared base stations or centralized administrations, where flocks of peer systems gather and compose a network. Each node operates as a normal end system in public networks. In addition to it, a MANET node is required to work as a router to forward traffic from a source or intermediate node to others. Each node operates as a normal end system in public networks, and further a MANET node work as a router to forward traffic from a source or intermediate node to the next node via routing path. Applications of MANET are extensively wide, such as battle field or any unwired place; however, these are exposed to critical problems related to network management, node's capability, and security because of frequent and dynamic changes in network topology, absence of centralized controls, restricted usage on network resources, and vulnerability oi mobile nodes which results from the special MANET's character, shared wireless media. These problems induce MANET to be weak from security attacks from eavesdropping to DoS. To guarantee secure authentication is the main part of security service In MANET because networks without secure authentication are exposed to exterior attacks. In this paper, a multistage authentication strategy based on CGSR is proposed to guarantee that only genuine and veritable nodes participate in communications. The proposed authentication model is composed of key manager, cluster head and common nodes. The cluster head is elected from secure nodes, and key manager is elected from cluster heads. The cluster head will verify other common nodes within its cluster range in MANET. Especially, ID of each node is used on communication, which allows digital signature and blocks non repudiation. For performance evaluation, attacks against node authentication are analyzed. Based on security parameters, strategies to resolve these attacks are drawn up.
MANET is network that attach importance to not only service of large network as internet but also support of communication among each nodes because infrastructure constitution is disadvantage economically or difficult physically. The most important part in protection of systems constitute MANET is that authenticate each nodes securely and offer reliable service. Well defined routing technique is necessity to this. In this paper, in order to offer safe service, we compare capacity of present security routing protocol, analyze to solve weakness of existing on-demand routing protocol and existing routing protocol and argue with study course of hereafter security routing protocol.
