Dijkstra 알고리즘을 이용한 배전계통에서의 사고복구 (Outage restoration in electric distribution system using Dijkstra algorithm)

  • This paper presents a restoration method by using Dijkstra algorithm for outage restoration problems in distribution system that considering load capacity constraints and operation constraints. Restoration problem in distribution system is difficult to solve problem in a short times, because of a distribution system that supplies power for customers combined with many tie-line switches and sectionalizing switches and have to satisfy plenty of operation conditions. Therefore, this paper applied Dijkstra algorithm which is satisfy radial operation conditions in distribution system. This proposed method used Kruskal algorithm include to Dijkstra algorithm Therefore, proposed method is restored to a outage sections in a short times and just then to satisfied with a operation conditions in distribution system. A 26-bus, 31-branch model system is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • This paper presents a approach for a service restoration and optimal reconfiguration of distribution network using Genetic algorithm(GA) and Tabu search(TS) method. Restoration and reconfiguration problems in distribution network are difficult to solve in short times, because distribution network supplies power for customers combined with many tie-line switches and sectionalizing switches. Furthermore, the solutions of these problems have to satisfy radial operation conditions and reliability indices. To overcome these time consuming and sub-optimal problem characteristics, this paper applied Genetic-Tabu algorithm. The Genetic-Tabu algorithm is a Tabu search combined with Genetic algorithm to complement the weak points of each algorithm. The case studies with 7 bus distribution network showed that not the loss reduction but also the reliability cost should be considered to achieve the economic service restoration and reconfiguration in the distribution network. The results of suggested Genetic-Tabu algorithm and simple Genetic algorithm are compared in the case study also.

  • This study develops an expert system which solves the problems of the MTr/feeder overloads and the feeder constraints in automated radial distribution systems. Then, the objective is to perform the network reconfiguration by switching the tie and sectionalizing switches which eliminates the system violation, while achieving the load balance of the MTrs/feeders. To reduce the search space, an expert system based on heuristic rules is presented, and implemented in AI language Prolog. This system adopts the best-first tree search technique. The computational results are also prepared to show the performance of the heuristic algorithm developed.

  • The loss minimization is one of the most important problems to save the operational cost in distribution systems. This paper presents an efficient method for optimal feeder reconfiguration of distribution systems. Chaos search algorithm (CSA) is used to reconfigure distribution systems so that active power losses are globally minimized with turning on/off sectionalizing switches. In optimization problem, the CSA searches the global optimal solution on the basis of regularity in chaotic motions and easily escapes from local or near optimal solution. The CSA is tested on 15 buses and 32 buses distribution systems, and the results indicate that it is able to determine appropriate switching options for global optimum reconfiguration.

  • Distribution systems is consist of network in physical aspect, and radial in electrical aspect. Therefore, radial operation is realized by changing the status of sectionalizing switches, and is usually done for loss reduction in the system. In this paper, we propose a optimal method for distribution systems reconfiguration. Specifically, we use K-optimal algorithm and tabu search method to solve distribution systems reconfiguration for loss minimization problem.

  • This paper presents an application of a improved branch exchange (IBE) algorithm with a tie branch power (TBP) flow equation to solve the Optimal Routing problem for operation of a radial Power system including power distribution system. The main objective of the Optimal Routing problem usually is to minimize the network real power loss and to improve the voltage profile in the network. The new BE algorithm adopts newly designed methods which are composed by decision method of maximum loss reduction and new index of loss exchange in loop network Thus, the proposed algorithm in this paper can search the optimal topological structures of distribution feeders by changing the open/closed states of the sectionalizing and tie switches. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated with the practical IEEE 32, 69 bus test systems and KEPCO 148 bus test system to show favorable performance gained.

In this paper, we propose a optimal method for distribution systems reconfiguration. Specifically we use genetic algorithm method to solve distribution systems reconfiguration for loss minimization problem. A genetic algorithm(GA) is set up, in which some improvements are made on string coding, fitness function and mutation pattern. As a result, premature convergence is avoided.

  • Network reconfiguration in distribution systems is realized by changing the status of sectionalizing switches, and is usually done for loss reduction of load balancing in the system. This paper presents an effective heuristic based switching scheme to solve the distribution feeder loss reduction problem. The proposed algorithm consists of two parts. One is to set up a decision tree to represent the various switching operations available. Another is to apply a proposed technique called cyclic best first search. the proposed algorithm identify the most effective the set of switch status configuration of distribution system for loss reduction. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm, numerical calculations are carried out the 32, 69 bus system models.

  • This paper presents a application of new algorithm for feeder reconfiguration problem in distribution systems. Harmony Search (HS) algorithm, which is motivated from the musical performance, is used to reconfigure distribution systems so that active power losses are globally minimized with turning on/off the sectionalizing and the tie-line switches. In optimization processing, the HS algorithm has searching ability for the global optimal solution, simple coding of the iteration procedure, and fast convergence to get the solution. The HS algorithm is tested on 15 buses and 69 buses distribution systems, and the results prove its effectiveness to determine appropriate switching options without the occurrence of any misdetermination in switching and get the minimum power loss.

  • Recently, sectionalizing switches have been coming to be operated by remote control through the distribution SCADA system. However, the problem of determining the optimal switching sequence is a combinatorial optimization problem, and is quite difficult to solve. Hence, it is imperative to develop practically applicable solution algorithms for this problem. Several efficient algorithms have been developed for finding approximate solutions to such problems. these algorithms create a new arbitral distribution system configuration from an initial configuration, and some of these algorithms do not show a load transfer sequence to reach the objective system.
