  • This study surveyed the recognition on the Korean education for specific purposes targeting student-teachers majoring Korean language education in a Cyber University located in Seoul. 50 among 57 students taking the class participated in this survey. The participants were the students-teachers interested in Korean education for the mission purposes and took the class during the second term in 2020. At the end of the term they participated in this survey. 6 items were objective and 4 items were narrative. Among the narrative ones, one was excluded from analysis. The objective items were investigated by descriptive statics and the narrative items were analyzed with qualitative approach. As a result, most of the participants preferred the combined textbooks with others such as the ones for general and mission purposes rather than the bibles only. They had positive opinions on using the bibles, but proposed that the bibles themselves are not the best choice for improving communicative competence and the text combination is the better choice because of the difficulty of the bibles, the lack of teachers' competence, and the learners' needs. However, while taking this class, they became to be aware of the possibilities of the bibles as textbooks, to possess the concern about the mission areas, to consider the possibilities of application and the educational methods in it, and to reflect the ways for self development. This study suggested several points as follows: the development of diverse textbooks according to situations and learners, two directions of teacher education and the cooperative works, and the necessities of the related departments and classes with mission purposes.

Based on the findings of this research, interview participants found its need of current arts education program for North Korean refugee youth become more value-driven and participant-centered. Currently, those programs available seem to incline to helping their adjustment to the South Korean society through arts-related activities, such as enhancing Korean language skills and learning Korean culture. Rather, it has been addressed that providing emotional and psychological supports and opportunities to search their own 'voice(s)' should be core objectives of the arts education programs. Moreover, when it is offered, arts educators and administrators need to make sure that participants can feel safe and secure as being present at the space for programs in order to express and encounter their true inner voice(s).

As an argument for this, second, this paper deals with the concept and function of the liturgy in order to understand the worship of children as the liturgy. The third deals with the elements necessary for the development of children's personality that can be experienced in children's worship. First, it deals with the meaning of religious, aesthetic, and communal driving forces that children can experience in children's worship, focusing on Eberhard's research. In addition, it deals with the meaning of language and expression methods provided in children's worship, and finally, it says that children's worship can be a space where you can experience stability and coziness. This study discussed the symbolic elements of the host country characteristics reflected in FIFA's World Cup event mascot. A total of 14 mascots of World Cup events were held from 1966 to 2018, and their materials can be divided into animals, plants, people and creations. The mascot was applied with the characteristic elements of regional specialties, the flag of the host country, symbolic attire, language of the hosting area, social issues and the mascot's dress, posture, props and expression characters of soccer events were used as symbolic elements. First of all, the implications of the research were that mascots were more strongly expressing the "football" signifying element, the theme of events, rather than regional characteristics. Second, the use of 'national flag' was highlighted among the elements of expressing regional characteristics. Third, 'animal' was preferred for mascot material. Fourth, mascots have become integrated with 'cultural perfumes' and play an extended role in raising social awareness. Implications derived from the classification of characteristics and symbol representation elements raised in this study will be used as a basis for the planning of international event mascots.

  • Objective : This study aimed to establish an analytic methodology that can objectively evaluate the proverb comprehension levels that vary based on the aging process. Method : This study recruited 70 normal elderly aged ≥ 65 years and performed proverb comprehension tasks using an explanation method. A scoring estimation method was designed on 3 and 5-point scales. The difficulty and discrimination levels were calculated based on the two scales, thereby selecting the final questions and evaluation scale. Results : First, the item discrimination index on the 5-point scale was relatively higher than that on the 3-point scale, and 10 items were finally selected. Second, in terms of proverb comprehension ability, the elderly group aged 70 ~ 84 years showed significantly lower performance than those aged 65 ~ 69 years. Additionally, subjects with ≥ 10 years of education showed significantly higher performance than those with 9 ≤ years of education. Third, the performance of the proverbs comprehension task negatively correlated with the reaction time of the executive function task. Conclusion : Proverb comprehension is a task that can distinctively show a deterioration of brain functions in line with the aging process even among the normal elderly group and therefore, can estimate the difference more effectively with an increase in the score of the evaluation scale.

  • In this study, trends in ICT education were investigated by analyzing the frequency of appearance of keywords related to machine learning and using conversion of iteration correction(CONCOR) techniques. A total of 304 papers from 2018 to the present published in registered sites were searched on Google Scalar using "ICT education" as the keyword, and 60 papers pertaining to ICT education were selected based on a systematic literature review. Subsequently, keywords were extracted based on the title and summary of the paper. For word frequency and indicator data, 49 keywords with high appearance frequency were extracted by analyzing frequency, via the term frequency-inverse document frequency technique in natural language processing, and words with simultaneous appearance frequency. The relationship degree was verified by analyzing the connection structure and centrality of the connection degree between words, and a cluster composed of words with similarity was derived via CONCOR analysis. First, "education," "research," "result," "utilization," and "analysis" were analyzed as main keywords. Second, by analyzing an N-GRAM network graph with "education" as the keyword, "curriculum" and "utilization" were shown to exhibit the highest correlation level. Third, by conducting a cluster analysis with "education" as the keyword, five groups were formed: "curriculum," "programming," "student," "improvement," and "information." These results indicate that practical research necessary for ICT education can be conducted by analyzing ICT education trends and identifying trends.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a Busan tourism industry in which the 2016 OECD Tourism policy and ICT convergence platform are applied. OECD proposed 3 policies to promote the tourism industry: First, to maintain the competitiveness of the tourism industry as well as improve its efficiency and sustainability, second, to establish a seamless traffic system, and third, to build a response to the sharing economy. Centering on the OECD's three policies, we propose the developmental possibilities of tourism in Busan. At the same time, we suggest the necessity to build an ICT convergence platform that will help foster the industry. In building an ICT convergence platform, we especially focus on the necessity of: 1. Sharing and creating experience-based interactive contents on the software side, and 2. Developing high quality user experience (UX) and providing a data analysis-based customized service on the hardware side. In addition, we insist on the establishment of the Tourism Promotion Agency for the continuous performance and management of Busan tourism industry. The study ultimately suggests that the construction of ICT convergence platform based on OECD tourism policy can result in the expected outcomes of high effects with low cost for both consumers and suppliers related to the tourism industry.
