차량 창문 개폐에 따른 내부에서의 유동 해석으로의 융합적 고찰 (Convergent Investigation with Internal Flow Analysis According to the Opening and Closing of Vehicle Window)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 창문의 개폐에 따라 공기의 내부 유동 해석을 통하여 여름철에 운전자와 동승자의 쾌적한 운전환경을 고찰하였다. 실제 운전 환경을 고려하여, 자동차 창문 개폐 상태로서의 에어컨 입구 조건들을 유동 해석에 적용하였다. 자동차 에어컨 토출구, 시트 그리고 실내를 모델링하였고, 차 내부에서의 공기유동을 해석하여 공기의 유동형상과 내부의 온도분포를 확인하였다. 본 해석에서는 공기 유입부와 배출구를 정하고 자동차 내부를 단열상태로 가정하고 내부공기와 창문 개폐의 영향만을 고려해서 결과를 보았다. 각 조건들의 해석을 고찰해보면 본 연구 모델들이 쾌적한 환경이 유지됨을 알 수 있었다. 차량 창문 개폐에 따른 내부에서의 유동에 대한 본 해석 결과는 디자인 분야에 융합하여 적용될 수 있다고 보인다.

고령운전자의 Eye Point와 전방 시계 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Eye Point and Field of View of Older Drivers)

  • This study examined the field of view of older drivers based on their eye points. The subjects were 25 people whose age was over 65 years and 10 contrasting subjects on their 20s. For the experiment, we expanded the width of the A-pillar of a test vehicle. With a measuring apparatus designed for the study, we analyzed 3 axes of coordinates from glabella to a fixed point of the vehicle that would be used as CAD data of vehicle design. Result shows that average eye point of the older subjects was located significantly farther from the seat than that of the 20s approximately by 31.62mm(p=0.05). It was also found that the Binocular FOV was not significantly different between the older subjects and the 20s(p=0.85), and the effect of the width of the A-pillar on the FOV could not be found. We also measured the left and right side of the Ambinocular FOV of the older subjects. It was found that the older subjects had much wider visual angle than the 20s by 2.84 degree (F=4.78, p=0.01) on the left side, while the 20s showed significantly wider average angle than the older subjects by about 4.88 degree (F=4.78, p<0.05) on the right side. The results of this study can be used to improve the FOV based on the optimal eye points when designing a vehicle for older drivers.

자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 라이더 로봇 개발에 대한 장애인과 고령자의 욕구조사 (A Survey Study on the development of Omni-Wheel Drive Rider Robot with autonomous driving systems for Disabled People and Senior Citizens)

  • 본 연구는 장애인 그리고 비장애인이 사용할 수 있는 미래형 전동스쿠터인 자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 라이더 로봇의 정보을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 그러므로 자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 로봇 개발을 하기 앞서 49명의 장애인과 고령자의 욕구 조사의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전동스쿠터의 승하차 불편사항과 밧데리 충전문제 등의 불만족한 이유로 가장 시급히 해결해야 할 문제로 나타났다. 이를 위해 본 연구개발 시 고려되어야할 사항으로 밧데리 충전시간과 거리, 팔 받침대, 발 받침대, 시트각도 등이 요소가 개선되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 인도, 차도, 경사도, 보도블럭 등과 같은 도로환경에 주행안전에 위험을 느끼고 있으며, 이를 위해 편의기능으로 조이스틱 핸들형, 네비게이션 기능, 장애물 회피기능, 옴니 드라이브 휠, 우천 시 사용할 수 있는 자동 오픈형 덮개 등 본 연구개발과 관련한 여러 요소를 포함하여 장애인과 고령자에 맞는 설계 방안을 제안하였다.

라이프스타일의 비교를 통한 한중 전통가구의 비교 (A Comparative Study on Korean and Chinese Traditional Furniture based on the Life Style)

  • Korea and China have had close relations not only geographically but also ideally and culturally throughout history. Regarding their lifestyles on housing patterns, however, Koreans had a sedentary way of life, usually sitting on the floor while Chinese had a standing lifestyle, sitting on a chair. This paper tries to have a comparative analysis on similarities and distinctions of two countries' traditional furniture that had complied with each lifestyle. This paper also aims to explore the similarities and distinctions of the form and function of the traditional furniture of the two countries and then to put results of this paper in design and plan of modern furniture and housing in our times. The study can be summarized as follows. Even if, cultural and historical relationships of two countries, there is a different of traditional furniture's forms and types. The major differences are as following : Korean furniture is predominantly on the floor level with storing furniture while Chinese one is intermixed with seat-level and floor level styles. These characters seem to be derived from their own housing and life style. In Ming and Qing period China, Their developed in which intermediate people and building. But, in Korea their housing style had floating floor against wet earth, which finished woods, Ondol. Because of these finishing, the Korean traditional furniture was developed into a good form and a suitable dimension for moving. These differences in furnishing style seemed to well reflect building and housing style of each country. And Image map and positioning map can show the differences in a whole aspect.

흔들의자의 양식 변천 연구(2) -쉐이커rocker, 위커 rocker, 플랫폼 rocker 양식을 중심으로- (Study on the historical change of rocker style(2) -The styles of the Shaker rockers, the Wicker rockers and the Platform rockers-)

  • These series articles were written in order to understand rockers of today and to provide basic data of their designs and manufacture studying pattern changes in the West. In the first article of the series reports we already described the theoretical background of rockers and the Windsor and the Boston style among the American classic rockers from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. This article contained the characteristics of the styles of the Shaker rocker, the Wicker rocker, and the Platform rocker. The three periods associated with furnituremaking in the Shaker sect are; the Primitive Era, which lasted from 1790 to 1820; the Classical Era, from 1820 to 1860; and the Final Phase, from 1860 to 1935. The important skills the Shaker needed to make the Shaker rocker are woodturning joinery, seat braid weaving and steam bending for the slats. The Wicker rocker continues to be extremely popular furniture style as the wicker proved equally effective for translating the ornate vine-like motifs popular among Art Nouveau proponents. The Wicker rockers were developed for child's, gentleman's and lady's, and it represents the most diverse forms among the above mentioned styles. However the rocker skates were often clumsy and took up too much room, preventing the chair from being shoved close to the wall and out of the way. These problems were overcome by the Platform rocker. The most important innovation was the technical development of a stationary base, which allowed the chair to rock noiselessly, without skating along the floor. The Modernism of the modern furnitures in America and Europe were affected by the characteristics of the Shaker rocker, the Wicker rocker, and the Platform rocker.

차세대 유비쿼터스 비행정보 시스템의 연구와 설계 (A Study of the Next Generation Ubiquitous Flight Information System and a Design)

  • 본 논문은 현재 사용하고 있는 비행정보 시스템 전체를 연구하고 차세대 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템을 설계하였다. 지상의 서비스에서 좌석예약, 운송, 발권과 수화물 역추적, 그리고 비행기 내에서 고객을 위한 AVOD, 게임, TV, 휴대전화, 기내 인터넷 사용과 항공사와 관제업무인 ATC, ATS, 항공교통관제업무에 대한 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템을 연구하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 하여 차세대 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템과 네트워크 보안, 시스템 보안에 필요한 정보보호 시스템을 설계하였으며, 기존의 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템과 차세대 시스템을 비교 분석하여 개선점과 차이점을 도출하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과 세계 항공 및 관련산업에 비전을 제시하고 통신효율성과 고객의 만족도 및 비행 안전성과 효율성을 확보하여 비행정보산업에 새로운 지평을 개척할 것이다.

승차감 평가를 위한 주파수 보정곡선의 분석 (Analysis of the Frequency Weighting Curve for the Evaluation of Ride Comfort)

  • 철도차량의 승차감은 진동뿐만 아니라 소음, 냄새, 온도 등 많은 요인들에 의해 영향을 받지만 승객에 크게 영향을 주는 진동으로 평가하는 것이 일반적이다. 승차감은 승객이 느끼는 감정이므로 물리적인 가속도의 크기뿐만 아니라 진동에 대한 인간의 감응도(느낌)도 고려하여야 한다. 이러한 진동에 대한 인간의 감응도를 나타낸 것이 주파수 보정곡선이다. 따라서, 철도 차량의 승차감 평가에는 인간의 감응도가 고려된 주파수 보정 가속도를 필요로 한다. 철도차량의 승차감 평가는 많은 규격에 규정되어 있으나, 각각의 규격에 따라 서로 다른 주파수 보정 곡선을 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국제철도협회, 유럽표준위원회, 국제표준위원회에서 규정한 주파수 보정곡선에 대해 분석하고 그 차이점을 고찰한다. 또한, 주파수 보정곡선의 차이가 고속철도 차량의 승차감 평가에 미치는 영향을 실제의 시운전 시험을 통해 분석하고자 한다.

서울 경기 지역 교사의 건강행동과 건강상태 (School Teachers' Health Behaviors and Health Status in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do)

  • Objectives: Few studies have focused on health behaviors and health status among teachers even though these are one of principles and values of WHO's Health Promoting Schools. In this study, we described health behaviors and health status among teachers and explored the differences of these by personal and school characteristics. Methods: A stratified and random cluster sampling design was used to obtain a cross-sectional sample. A total of 59 elementary, middle and high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas were included in which 333 teachers (males 40.6%, females 59.4%) participated in this survey. Chi-square tests were conducted with SPSS 17.1. Results: Overall, health behaviors and health status among teachers were better than the general public according to Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Male and middle/high school teachers had higher prevalence of alcohol dependence and of driving under the influence of alcohol. Also, their rate of wearing seat belts were lower compare to female. In other hand, female, health and nutrition teachers, rural school teachers had lower prevalence of meeting recommended levels of physical activity. Underweight were more prevalent to them in contrast to male with higher prevalence of obesity. In addition, teachers of health promoting schools were not likely to ride on a car with a drunk driver. They also have a lower prevalence of skipping breakfast and have higher positive perception of health for themselves. Conclusion: Teachers' health should be given higher concerns as a key component of school based health promotion. Gender and age specific programs should be considered to develop health promoting programs for them.

석유화학용 Ball Valve 유동 및 강도 수치해석 (A Numerical Analysis on Flow and Strength of Ball Valve for petrochemistry)

  • This study have goal with reverse engineering for petrochemistry of high pressure ball valve for localization. Ball valve for development accomplished with flow analysis based on provision of ANSI B16.34, ANSI B16.10, ANSI B16.25 In order to localize the petrochemistry high pressure control valve. Numerical simulation using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamic) in order to predict a mass flow rate and a flow coefficient form flow dynamic point of view. The working fluid assumed the water($H_2O$). The valve inlet and outlet setup a pressure boundary condition. The outlet pressure was fixed by atmospheric pressure and calculated inlet velocity 5m/s. CFD solver used STAR-CCM+ which is commercial code. The result shows change of mass flow rate according to opening and closing angle of valve. Flow decrease observed open valve that equal percentage flow paten which is general inclination of ball valve. The structural analysis used ANSYS which is a commercial code. Stress analysis result of internal pressure in valve showed lower than yield strength. This is expect to need more detail design and verification for stem and seat structure.

차량 조건 변화에 따른 승차 만족도 및 동작분석에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Satisfaction and a Motion analysis when Entering a Car through Change of Vehicle Conditions)

  • As national income increases, consumers began to place a great deal of weight on products or quality of their life. They would like to have products which are more convenient to use and could meet their emotional desire in addition to its basic functional requirements. An automobile is one of the transportation system for human beings and the factor such as safety or environmentaly-friendly is regarded as important things resulting from it's popularization. In fact, domestic design technology leaves much to be desired compared with excellent manufacturing techniques. For this reason, some problems, like lowering of usage, could be caused by introducing technological data as it is from overseas. A survey of domestic car users has found that the most preferred condition (step height) is 460~495cm when they get in and out of their car. Men use their visual information and then get in the car, taking motion fit for each condition when automobile condition is changed. In other words, men get in cars actively within the range of conditions used for this study. These results were found from a motion study, when getting in a car, and checking the possibility of getting injury in accordance with the change of condition as well.
