The university mathematics education has been in a crisis during the last 10 years. In recent years, the crisis is rapidly amplified with a science-engineering student resource downsizing. In korea, government and industry have intervent several supporting policies to treat the mathematics-science-engineering crisis in university education. In this article, policies and its contents about human reasource development, industry-university co-ops, national skills standards are presented in context of university mathematics education.

Korea has been preparing and operating crisis management standardized manuals so that over 30 disaster types that need to be managed at the national level can be selected and systematically managed. This study analyzed the crisis alert levels of two standard manuals related to the case with reference to the contents of the Framework Act on the Management of Disaster and Safety and National Crisis Management Basic Guidelines. According to the Act and Guidelines, crisis alerts are issued before a crisis or disaster, but the criteria of crisis alerts of the two manuals showed that the national crisis had already occurred and the disaster occurred due to a marine vessel accident at the serious level. In addition, the results of timing of issuance of crisis alert were reviewed. If the signs can be identified, a crisis alert may be issued prior to the occurrence of the incident, but a crisis alert cannot be issued when an incident occurs without a sign. In the case of an incident where there are no signs, but there is a possibility of spreading to a national level disaster, the disaster management supervision agency could issue a crisis alert.

After the 2008 global financial crisis, the construction environment in South Korea continued change in the construction environment. Construction orders in 2011 have shown a downward trend compared with the previous year. Along with these changes in the construction market, the professional capabilities of construction project managers that are perceived as important also changed after the global financial crisis. Accordingly, this study was conducted to identify the major business capabilities of the current construction project managers and to determine which of these capabilities have undergone changes in terms of the importance accorded to them after the global financial crisis, and ultimately, to derive the construction project manager capability areas that need to be strengthened according to the changes in the construction environment. The capabilities of construction project managers were surveyed at two different time points: in 2007 and in 2010. The results show that the year 2010, after the global financial crisis, an increase in the perceived important capabilities of construction project managers compared with 2007. This results the impact of the changes in the construction environment on the importance of construction project managers. This study derived the ramifications of the early identification of systems and prospects according to the changes in the construction circumstances on more efficient onsite and human resources management, by considering the appropriate capabilities of the construction project managers.

This research is accomplished for the purpose of providing fundamental materials to improve the level of prevention consciousness by deducting awareness difference through analyzing awareness level about terror preparation of members of crisis management system - the public service personnel in charge of crisis management in a self-governing body and the fire fighting public service personnel. For this research, That is measured through the priority order survey about a specialty of public service personnel in charge of crisis management and a level of crisis prepartion and a cooperation between crisis management system and etc. As a result of analysis, it is revealed that there is a difference about the priority order of measurement variable to terror preparation but all the members are recognizing the importance of that.

Recently, a new infectious disease, COVID-19, has been spreading not only in Korea but around the world. As a result, the Korean government raised the level of infectious disease crisis alerts to a serious level on February 23, 2020. The purpose of this study is to apply the situational theory of publics to publics segmentation according to the issuance of a crisis alert and to suggest ways to improve the crisis alert system. To this end, the level of public perception on crisis alerts was checked. The verification confirmed that the situational theory of publics is a suitable theoretical framework for analyzing the communication behaviors of the public toward crisis alerts. As a result of the public segmentation, 42.7% were classified as active publics. Based on this, it was suggested to reorganize the crisis alert system as a system for communicating with the public.

This research was conducted through demonstrating method about how high cooperation level between crisis management systems against terror in korea is now, based on both interaction level relating to cooperation relation among organization relationship theory. Through the results of analysis, People in charge against terror were widely recognizing about the need of cooperation between crisis management systems to treat terror effectively. For organic cooperation between organizations, it was suggested the politic implication that it is the most important task to build the sense of values, the behavior about cooperations in the internal phase of crisis management system.

Enterprise Risk Management(ERM) is aiming at the establishment of the risk management process to prevent and cope with risks in advance and is composed of Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Response and Monitoring. It is feedback through the Risk Re-identification. This study has analysed a sample of the risk management system of an airport operating corporation, for this purpose, relevant documents and examples of overseas airports have been reviewed. It has found that corporations establishing ERM have been performing identical procedures such as the process of Identification, Assessment, Effective Reporting, Communication and monitoring and so on. The A corporation has established the process for risk management and crisis management and organized for its organization and system. The risk management has the same process such as above. In this process, when the symptoms of critical crisis have been recognized, it has been transformed into crisis management system, through which, corporate-wide response has been conducted in the process of crisis status analysis, response and follow-up management. This study expects to contribute to systematic foundation for future business continuity on the basis of risks and response procedures acknowledged by this study.

Since 1985, the growth rate of population of the world is over that of the food production. The cultivated land and the grain production rate are decreasing every year. Therefore, the most serious crisis which we will meet in the 21st century will be food shortage. In order to solve this desperate shortage of food, besides trying to produce more food, the technology of post-harvest, food processing, and food packaging should be developed to reduce and make the best use of the amount of the already produced agricultural products for which a lots of cost and labors were invested, but are being wasted during food distribution channel due to their undeveloped technology.

To effectively predict financial crisis, this paper presents an early warning system based on artificial intelligence technologies. Both Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks are utilized for the proposed system. First, a genetic algorithm has been developed for the effective selection of economic indices, which are used for monitoring financial crisis. Then, an optimum weight of the selected indices has been determined by a neural network method. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed system, a series of experiments has been conducted by using the Korean economic indices from 2005 to 2008.
