  • A number of schools have introduced the Reward and Punishment Mark System. It has been applied to children at school in order to minimize the ill effects that are often caused by physical punishment. In this case, teachers have caused problematic issues in the course of student life guidance at school. However, the application of the personal Reward and Punishment Mark System raises many other questions as well. Accordingly, there is the necessity of making up for its weak points on the systematic level. The purpose of this study is to understand the Effect of the Collective Reward and Punishment Mark System, as a substitute punishment to the physical punishment, applying the reward and punishment mark system not to an individual but to a group. The Collective Reward and Punishment Mark System for the upper grade students of primary schools showed a positive effect which assists their adaptation to school. To put it more concretely, according to the characters of the study subjects, the system has proved that boy students are more positively affected than girl students. It has been also revealed that those students in the fourth grade experience a positive change in all areas of the adaptation to school, while those in the fifth and the sixth grade were negatively affected. Moreover, those who hold a lower rank in respect of grade achievement experienced a more positive change than those standing among a high rank. It is expected that the Effect of the Collective Reward and Punishment Marks System, on the basis of the study, possesses affirmative intervention on the field.

  • This study explored moderating effects of parental rejection on the relationship between corporal punishment and psychological maladjustment of 348 5th and 6th grade elementary school children. Participants responded in school to the Physical Punishment Questionnaire(Rohner, 1997), Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire(Rohner, 1991), and the Personality Assessment Questionnaire(Rohner, 1991). Results of regression analyses showed that both parental punishment and parental rejection made significant contributions to children's psychological maladjustment. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that parental punishment made significant contributions to maladjustment only when it was influenced by perceived maternal rejection. Conclusions were that apparent relations between parental punishment and children's psychological maladjustment were moderated by children's perceptions of maternal rejection.

  • Current OSH system was analyzed in this paper to explain why high fatal incidents and disasters are continuously repeated for recent years in Korea. It was found that we have Dichotomous Perceptional Misconception of prevention before accident and compensation after accident and there is a significant lack of proper feedback reward system for OSH performance. It was assumed that no reduction of accident rate and fatality rate have not been achieved recently despite of a great effort and increased resource allocations. Some statistics for proving weak punishment were analyzed. In the current system, the will of administrative agency would have been very limited particularly in the legal aspects. The Industrial Safety and Health Act is not suitable to after-injury punishment for employer and/or corporate since it is based on a framework for enforcement of prevention. Based on these analyses, it was concluded that there was a need to consider a special law for Corporate Accountability for Fatal Accidents. Because it is necessary to consider seriously for introduction of a new legal system for after injury punishment to repair the current system where it was found lack of proper feedback system. Also, there was no proper sanction measures for corporate with the current OSH legal system, and the most urgent problem in OSH area is the high fatality rate. it is necessary to consider seriously for introduction of a new legal system for after injury punishment. Also, there is no proper sanction measures for corporate with the current OSH legal system, and the most urgent problem in OSH area is the high fatality rate.

  • Internet is widely spreading in everyday life and it makes easy to find and share information on the Internet. Many of Internet users are copying and distributing copyrighted materials freely on the Internet without recognizing that it is unethical and illegal behavior. The rate of Internet piracy is constantly increasing even though the regulation and punishment for piracy behavior are to be strict. However, there is a lack of study about the relationship between the punishment and education for intenet piracy on users' attitude and intention toward piracy on the Internet. The purpose of this study is therefore to find out the effect of the level of punishment for internet piracy on users' attitude and intention. This study also examines the moderating effect of piracy education on the relationship between punishment and piracy intention. The study shows that the punishment is directly associated with the attitude but not associated with the piracy intention. The piracy education has a significant effect on the relationship between punishment and intention. The result of this study could bring up the issue of intellectual property protection on the Intenet and suggest an importance of piracy education to educators, managers and internet users.

  • About 1 year and 7 months have passed since the Serious Accident Punishment Act was implemented, and although many studies have been conducted on the definition and policy of the Act, almost no research has been conducted on its impact on the logistics industry. In particular, research on the PDI (PRS) process within finished vehicle logistics is severely lacking ‥‥‥. The government is expecting to expand the scope of punishment and upgrade the safety management system through the Serious Accident Punishment Act, but if you check the industrial accident data issued by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2022, the number and rate of industrial accidents will increase compared to 2021
