In information society, enhancing information literacy is a common goal of the academic and school libraries. Consequently the academic libraries connect with the school libraries through information literacy In this study, a academic library visiting program is presented and proposed as a policy to link the academic and school libraries. This program may be a alternative to activate school library-based teaming and overcome lacks of resources and teacher librarians, in the academic libraries. it may be a policy to improve lacks of materials and carrels and overcome the problem of service increase in the opening academic library for local communities. And it will contributes to the educational role or the librarian.

The school library provides a mobile web service that allows access to the library catalog system, and provides services that reflect the needs of search and consider the characteristics of mobile devices. Therefore, this study conducted a literature review, an analysis of the current status of school library mobile web services, and a survey of the mobile service user experience of students and teachers to find the contents and service plans for school library mobile app services that meet the school library mobile needs. Based on the survey, the contents and design plan of the school library DLS mobile service was prepared. First, the steps were reduced from step 4 to step 3. In the first step, solution of screen clipping errors in registering as a member and various login platforms for accessibility are needed. In the second step, integrated search and detailed search, provision of materials for use and reading education, post-booking activities, guides and announcements on the use of the affiliated school library, inter-loan, and e-books are provided as main menu. In the third step, it was proposed to provide related functions such as reservations as well as the display of the detailed screen of the search results of the collection. This study can be used not only to develop dedicated mobile app services, but also to change current web-based mobile services.

In this research, we have identified problems and countermeasures when school library provides information literacy service in liaison with school curriculum. The problems were misunderstanding information literacy as ICT skills, lack of books and librarians, and etc. So we emphasize importance of library and information in information literacy. And for countermeasures, we provide online guide to library resources, 'BIG6 problem solving model' for information literacy teaching-learning, teaching-learning plans for information literacy, formats for teaching-learning process.

With the popularization of smart-phone, a variety of application service user is a rising trend now. In contrast, studies concerning library application service that cast a long shadow over the life of students and citizens still lacking in many ways. This study evaluates user experience of Young-in Si public library application service, and investigates user requirements. I searched the real user reviews about Young-in Si library application both App store and Android market. As the final outcome, I found inconveniences and improvements of this service. The application is intuitive, but requires consistent design, strong identity and customizing main page. It will be suggested specific guidelines for the public library mobile services in other areas.

The domestic and foreign standards of school libraries suggest that school library should be run to give useful and pleasant experiences to students. This study applies Csikszentmihalyi's 'flow theory' to analyze the relationships between students' flow experience and their satisfaction about school libraries use. The variables selected in this study are students' satisfaction, flow experience, library skill, challenge of library use, types of library use and students' learning styles. The research model is designed by using these 6 variables in this study. The data are collected from 293 students and analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of this study are as follows: The entire casual relationships show that library skills influence in types of library use, types of library use affect students' learning styles and students' learning styles influence in satisfaction through flow. To improve students' satisfaction about school library use, this study proposes effective ways related to teacher librarians' role performances to expand students' flow experience and increase their library skills.

This study proposes the Book-Curation service as part of the information service offered through school library websites. Also, this study aims to establish recommendation standards for curation prior to detailed system planning. For such service, the following tasks were carried out. First, the list of recommended books of existing systems were analyzed to identify the attributes that can be used for recommendation in the user and book information. Second, the analyzed attributes were utilized to establish 12 recommendation standards. Finally, a survey was carried out to identify the user preferences as to each standards. The results are as follows. First, the majority of students responded that curation service is necessary for using a library. Second, the top three standards are as follows: "best lending books based on the keywords of individual users"; "best lending books of the same year students"; "best lending books on the textbook-related reference booklist".

The most good library's service will be accomplished for the system of user centralized and we can't expect the development of school library without student's use. This research has been designed for an attempt to know why students don't use the school library. The methods employed to achieve the purpose of this study are (1) To establish some tentative factors affecting the school library's use or nonuse (2) to get necessary data, a questionnaire was made according to the tentative factors. A questionnaire was sent to teacher and students in the 4 sample high schools in Seoul. The followings are the am lysed results. (1) School library's collection are poor. (2) The school library's equipment and position are bad. (3) The guide or use instruction of school library are not carried out. (4) Teacher librarian can not reach the demand of the society and the atmosphere of library are not good. (5) The books are not lent to students and the circulation procedure are complicated. (6) Our country's educational programme does not organize to promote using the school library. (7) Teachers' knowledge for using the library are poor. (8) Entrance examination of the university disturbed to use the school library. (9) The school administration are not enough to understand about the school library.

The school library media specialist is the information manager of school library as well as the teacher who take charge of a study. The basic knowledge of copyright law is needed to supply lawful and safe information service to students and teaching staffs in school. In order for the school library media specialist to have a copyright knowledge, the actual proof research to analyze the copyright recognition degree of school library media specialist is necessary, The survey study measured the recognition degree against copyright of school library media specialists who participate to 2006 school library media specialist 1 class qualification annual study and training process. This paper examines the characteristics of 23 libraries affiliated with educational institutions of the Korean miltary. Materials and data used in this analysis were obtained from a variety of statute books, Korean Library Association publications, past works in military-related research, questionnaires and interviews with library staff. For each military educational institutions, the background to its foundation and Its current operations are briefly reviewed. Library characteristics subjected to analysis pertain to the following 8 areas： location and architecture, stack arrangement, furniture and furnishings, personnel, service elements, budget, book stock, and extent of computerization. The affiliated library (consisting of reading rooms and/or stack rooms) is then classified as belonging to one of the following three levels: graduate-school level (total of 4 libraries), university level (5 libraries), and technical-school level (14 libraries). When necessary. particular libraries are examined in detail. This research reveals that while most graduate-school and university level libraries are being operated on a relatively sound basis, there are significant disparities among university level libraries. As for technical-school level libraries, the lack of professional staff and service elements for users is seriously impairing their operations. In order to address these problems and support military education and research in the age of segyehwa and information, it is suggested that the Korean military formulate comprehensive measures to modernize library facilities and improve their operations.
