  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of solution focused group counseling program on peer relationship and school life adaption of elementary school children. The subjects in this study were the 4th graders at S Elementary School in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. 20 students were selected through the preliminary test of peer relationship and school life adaption, that is to say, each 10 students of experimental group and control group. A solution focused group counseling program was provided by researcher to the experimental group in six sessions once or twice a week, 60 minutes each. but control group was not conducted for any program. In verifying of the program effects in this study, KOREAN SPSS/WIN(version 12.0) is used for statistical analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, solution focused group counseling program has a positive effect on all parts of sub-factors of peer relationship except to union life between friends. Second, solution focused group counseling program has a effect on the school life adaption of elementary and its all parts of sub-factors except to school rules. As noted above, it is proved that solution focused group counseling program has a positive effect to improve parts of sub-factors of peer relationship and school life adaption. Accordingly, it is necessary to feel satisfaction and Qualitative improvement in peer relationship and help school life adaptation of elementary school children through solution focused group counseling program.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify latent classes in school readiness which were measured by both parents and teachers, and to test the relationship with school adaption, academic abilities, problematic behaviors, self-esteem, and happiness. Latent Profile Analysis (LPA), MANOVA, and one-way ANOVA were conducted using the data of 1,154 1st to 3rd grade elementary school students, and the data was collected between the 7th year (2014) to the 10th year (2017) from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Study. The results of study were as follows. First, four school readiness groups were identified: the consistent low group, parent perceived high group, the teacher perceived high group, the consistent high group. Second, the consistent high group and the teacher perceived high group showed relatively better academic abilities and school adaption than the consistent low group. Furthermore, the consistent high group showed higher academic abilities, self-esteem, and happiness, but lower problematic behaviors than the consistent low group. The findings of this study could be utilized as preliminary data for understanding school readiness to promote successful school adaption and psychological well-being of children.

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the vocational competency of students enrolled in vocational high schools including specialized vocational high school and meister vocational high school, and vocation program of general high school. We analyzed their vocational competency, based upon the vocational competency data of KCCI (Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry). The results were as follow. First, latent profiles of subjects were categorized into four folds: general cognition-low adaption, cognition adaption general, pursuit of job adaption, low cognition-job mal-adaption. Each percentage of four groups was 39%, 30%, 11%, and 20%. Second, mainly, specialized vocational high school pattern is matched with vocational high schools' pattern. However, the cognitive competency of students in meister vocational high school was higher than that of student in vocation program of general high school. Third, latent profile group was clarified in terms of non-cognition aspect. Fourth, The higher the job adaption is, the higher the career decision level. We suggested some policy implications for improve the vocational competency.

  • This paper combines the adaption of MRAS with the ability of NN for better modeling of nonlinear systen It presents an MRAS using an NN in the adaption mechanism. The technique is applied to a IPMSM drive. The torque constant and stator resistance variations on the speed and position estimations over a wide speed range has been studied. The NN estimators are able to track the varying parameter of different speeds with consistent performance. The validity of the proposed estimator is confirmed by the operating characteristics controlled by neural networks control.

  • We studied the human visual performance with PDP and LCD to clarify the relationships between viewer preference and chromatic adaption. In this paper, optical performance of the display is measured mechanically based on standard. The human visual performance about the display color image quality trough optical process is represented numerically based on CIECAM02. By comparing these results with the result of the questionnaire, performance of the display can be evaluated in detail.

  • This study is purposed to research the present status and outcomes of adaption of science teacher system in elementary school. The subjects of this study are science teachers, schoolmasters, science supervisors, and 3rd$\~$6th grade students in western office of board of education, Gwangju Metropolitan city. It was found that there are 264 teachers who teach one subject and only two of them were science teachers. In elementary schools, most classroom teachers didn't want to be science teachers and schoolmasters or science supervisors could not afford to adapt science teacher system. After applying science teacher system to 3$\~$6th grade students during one school year, many students were improved in academic achievement and inquiring ability, and they have increased of interest and participation in science activities. This means that science class by science teacher is more effective than that by classroom teacher. Therefore, science teacher system should enlarge to science class in elementary school.

  • The effect of an adolescent's being in a multicultural family, including the psychological, cultural, and situational characteristics of this experience, in terms of how it impacts acceptance of Korean culture, social competence, and educational adaptation was investigated. 120 multicultural family adolescents who were enrolled in Seouland Gyeonggi-do middle and high schools were surveyed. The results were analyzed by the PASW Statistics v18 program. Firstly, it was found that the psychological, cultural, and situational characteristics of multicultural family adolescents were significantly affected by family's general economic level and their mother's occupation and nationality. Secondly, multicultural family adolescents with higher self-perception, good accommodation of crosscultural attitudes in Korean culture and more relationships with Koreans tended to adapt to Korean culture more easily. Thirdly, multicultural family adolescents who adapted to Korean culture more easily could also adapt to school life well, and those who had better interpersonal relations and more advanced problem-solving skills had better relationships with school friends.

  • Intrusion detection is very important for network situation awareness. While a few methods have been proposed to detect network intrusion, they cannot directly and effectively utilize semi-quantitative information consisting of expert knowledge and quantitative data. Hence, this paper proposes a new detection model based on a directed acyclic graph (DAG) and a belief rule base (BRB). In the proposed model, called DAG-BRB, the DAG is employed to construct a multi-layered BRB model that can avoid explosion of combinations of rule number because of a large number of types of intrusion. To obtain the optimal parameters of the DAG-BRB model, an improved constraint covariance matrix adaption evolution strategy (CMA-ES) is developed that can effectively solve the constraint problem in the BRB. A case study was used to test the efficiency of the proposed DAG-BRB. The results showed that compared with other detection models, the DAG-BRB model has a higher detection rate and can be used in real networks.

  • Casual games are often have simple rule and easy to play. Like Angry birds, players can sling a bird as a bomb to destroy target. But the film adaption encounters numerous questions. games in pursuit of strong sensed presence, pay attention to experience; film stress the integrity of the story, attaches great importance to plot. However, casual games don't have story and plot. This paper take angry birds as example, analyzes the difficulties and method of adaptation from leisure mobile games to films, summarizes the key successful elements of adaption, such as subdivided the target group, chose an appropriate genre, write a script follow the basic logic and frame of film, set contradiction, complicated the character and still contain key elements of the game, in order to provide new ideas in the future development of integration of game and movie industry.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the mediation effects of social-support for adolescents' game addiction and school adaptation. For this study, 353 middle school students in the West-Gyungsangnamdo areas were included in the analysis. Setting as covariates, a mediator and extra variables significantly correlated with the criterion variable, regression analysis, SPSS Macro and bootstrapping methods were used to assess the mediation effects of social-support for adolescents' game addiction and school adaptation. The results showed that adolescents highly addicted to games tended to have more difficulty in adapting to school. However, it was found that social-support (mediator) fully mediated the influence of the adolescents' game addiction (predictor) on school adaptation (criterion variable). Based on the results of the analysis, we suggest implications for social work practice to improve how game-addicted adolescents settle down in middle school through increasing social-support - the mediator - and hence bring about a decrease in game addiction among adolescents.
