  • Lithium Niobate (LN:LiNbO3) is a compound of niobium, lithium and oxygen. The characteristics of LN are piezoelectricity, ferroelectricity and photoelectricity, and which is widely used in surface acoustic wave (SAW). To manufacture LN device, the LN surface should be a smooth surface and defect-free because of optical property, but the LN material is processed difficult by traditional processes such as grinding and mechanical polishing (MP) because of its brittleness. To decrease defects, chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) was applied to the LN wafer. In this study, the suitable parameters scuh as pressure and relative velocity, were investigated for the LN CMP process. To improve roughness, the LN CMP was performed using the parameters that were the highest removal rate among process parameters. And, evaluation of optical property was performed by the optical reflectance and non-linear characteristic.

RF 스퍼터를 이용하여 미리 가열된 기판을 냉각하며 증착한 ZnO 박막의 c축 배향성 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of c-axis orientation of ZnO thin film prepared on pre-heated substrate with cooling during RF sputter deposition)

  • In this paper, ZnO thin films were prepared on p-Si(100) by RF magnetron sputtering. Before the depostion, the substrates were pre-heated to 500, 400, 300, $200^{\circ}C$ or not. During the deposition, the substrates were cooled down naturally or kept and then the films were investigated by XRD(X-ray diffraction) and SEM (scanning micro scope). It is showed the most outstanding result that the film was prepared on the substrate were cooled from $400^{\circ}C$. When the substrate was cooled from a certain temperature during deposition, it could be improve the c-axis orientation and useful for application of SAW(surface acoustic wave) filter and FBAR(film bulk acoustic wave resonator) device.

The Development of the Narrow Gap Multi-Pass Welding System Using Laser Vision System

  • In the multi-pass welding of pressure vessels or ships, the mechanical touch sensor system is generally used together with a manipulator to measure the gap and depth of the narrow gap to perform seam tracking. Unfortunately, such mechanical touch sensors may commit measuring errors caused by the deterioration of the measuring device. An automation system of narrow gap multi-pass welding using a laser vision system which can track the seam line of narrow gap and which can control welding power has been developed. The joint profile of the narrow gap, with 250mm depth and 28mm width, can be captured by laser vision camera. The image is then processed for defining tracking positions of the torch during welding. Then, the real-time correction of lateral and vertical position of the torch can be done by the laser vision system. The adaptive control of welding conditions like welding currents and welding speeds, can also be performed by the laser vision system, which cannot be done by conventional mechanical touch systems. The developed automation system will be adopted to reduce the idle time of welders, which happens frequently in conventional long welding processes, and to improve the reliability of the weld quality as well.

The Relationship Between Renminbi Exchange Rate Fluctuations and China's Import and Export Trade

  • Purpose: The renminbi (RMB) has appreciated alongside the elevation of China's economic status, leading to increased exchange rate volatility. Moreover, China's medical industry saw a surge in import and export trade volume, with trade related to epidemic prevention and control in the medical sector significantly increasing its share. The medical device trade, in particular, occupies a substantial portion of this trade. Research design, data and methodology: This paper focuses on the import and export value of medical devices in the medical industry as a case study to explore the impact of RMB exchange rate fluctuations on the import and export trade of the medical industry during the pandemic. Additionally, it investigates whether the import and export trade of the medical industry can be a contributing factor to the fluctuations in the RMB exchange rate. Results: Through an empirical study on the import and export values of medical devices in the medical industry over the past three years, as well as the RMB exchange rate, this paper establishes a VAR model and conducts a series of tests including stationarity tests and cointegration tests. Conclusions: The conclusion is that fluctuations in the RMB exchange rate have a long-term impact on China's medical industry's import and export trade.

RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링에 의한 ZnO박막의 증착 및 구리 도우핑 효과 (Deposition of ZnO Thin Films by RF Magnetron Sputtering and Cu-doping Effects)

  • Thin films of ZnO are deposited by using an RF magnetron sputtering with varying the substrate temperature(RT~39$0^{\circ}C$) and RF power(50~250W). Cu-doped ZnO(denoted by ZnO:Cu) films have also been prepared by co-spputtering of a ZnO target on which some Cu-chips are attached. Different substrate materials, such as Si, $SiO_{2}/Si$, sapphire, DLC/Si, and poly-diamond/Si, are employed to compare the c-axial growth features of deposited ZnO films. Texture coefficient(TC) values for the (002)-preferential growth are estimated from the XRD spectra of deposited films. Optimal ranges of RF powers and substrate temperatures for obtaining high TC values are determined. Effects of Cu-doping conditions, such as relative Cu-chip sputtering areas, $O_{2}/(Ar+O_{2})$ mixing ratios, and reactor pressures, on TC values, electrical resistivities, and relative Cu-compositions of deposited ZnO:Cu films have been systematically investigated. XPS study shows that the relative densities of metallic $Cu(Cu^{0})$ atoms and $CuO(Cu^{2+})$-phases within deposited films may play an important role of determining their electrical resistivities. It should be noted from the experimental results that highly resistive(> $10^{10}{\Omega}cm$ ZnO films with high TC values(> 80%) can be achieved by Cu-doping. SAW devices with ZnO(or Zn):Cu)/IDT/$SiO_{2}$/Si configuration are also fabricated to estimate the effective electric-mechanical coupling coefficient($k_{eff}^{2}$) and the insertion loss. It is observed that the devices using the Cu-doped ZnO films have a higher $k_{eff}^{2}$ and a lower insertion loss, compared with those using the undoped films.

스트레인 게이지를 이용한 접촉식 용접선 추적 센서에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Contact Seam Tracking Sensor by Using Strain Gauges)

  • 조선과 자동차 등의 금속 가공분야의 용접산업부분에서는 용접을 하기 위해 여러 종류의 용접선 추적 센서들이 사용되고 있다. 용접선을 검출하는 센서에는 용접모재와 센서의 접촉여부에 따라 접촉식과 비접촉식 센서로 크게 대별할 수 있고, 현 산업전반에서는 대부분 접촉식 센서를 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서도 접촉식센서의 일종인 스트레인 게이지를 응용하여 센서를 제작하여 용접부위를 얼마나 잘 추적하는지 실험하였다. 실험장치는 스트레인 게이지 센서, 스트레인 게이지 신호의 증폭회로, 삼각파 발생기, MOSFET 파워 드라이버 회로와 DC 모터로 구동되는 X-Y 슬라이더 등으로 구성되어 있다. 용접선의 추적범위는 상하좌우로 동작을 하고 스트레인 게이지의 저항변화가 X-Y 슬라이더에 연결된 DC 모터를 구동시키게 된다. 실험결과 용접부위를 센서가 잘 추적하는 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 실제 산업현장에 있어서 적용가능성에 대해서 알아보았다.

타공작업이 이동겸자의 건조시간, Wet Pack율, 린넨 세탁비용 및 오염여부에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Forceps Jars with Holes on the Drying Time, Rate of Wet Pack, Cost of Rewashing Linen and Maintenance of Sterilization)

  • Objectives : This study aims to design a method for drying forceps jars. As part of the process, holes were made in the forceps jars. Drying time, rate of wet pack, and cost of rewashing linen were then determined. Moreover, the study looked into the bacteria incidence rate in the forceps jars. This study suggests a practical way for preventing infection in a hospital through a surgical device. Methods : This study investigated the effect of forceps jars with holes on reducing drying time, rate of wet pack, and cost of rewashing linen. It also looked into the bacteria incidence rate in the forceps jars through a parallel design. Data was collected and analyzed using SPSS version 21. Results : The drying time of a forceps jars was remarkably reduced from $18.44{\pm}0.2$ minutes(non-hole forceps jars) to $0.58{\pm}0.02$ minutes(4-hole forceps jars). The rate of wet pack of non-hole forceps jars was 51.4%. However, the rate of 4-hole forceps jars reached 4.6%. The cost of rewashing linen saw a decline from 38,073 won to 3,381 won. In addition, no bacteria and virus were detected from the 24-hours usage of forceps jars even though the jars had holes. Conclusions : The 4-hole forceps jars greatly increased work efficiency as a result of the reduced drying time, rate of wet-pack and cost of rewashing linen. The 4-hole forceps jars did not influence their sterilizing effect.

가토 하악골 절단부의 저수준 레이저 처치가 골치유에 미치는 영향 (BONE HEALING CAPACITY IN THE FRACTURE OF RABBIT MANDIBULAR BONE USING LOW-LEVEL LASER)

  • The concept of biostimulation of wounds by low-level laser therapy(LLLT) is attracting considerable attention. Although its effect on whole tissues has been studied quite extensively, the biological and cellular mechanisms underlying LLLT have not been clarified. In an experimental radius fracture in rabbits, Tang and Chai reported that LLLT enhanced the activity of red blood cells, macrophages, fibroblasts, chondrocytes, and osteoclasts within the fracture area. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of LLLT with a GaAlAs diode laser device on bone healing in rabbit mandibular fractures. We use 12 rabbits for this study. All rabbits were fractured mandible angle area using saw in anesthetic condition. In control group(n=6), none treatment was performed at fracture site. In experimental group(n=6), LLLT with a GaAlAs diode laser was radiated at fracture site daily for 7 days. All rabbits were sacrificed at 6 weeks later from performed fracture day. We studied the immunohistochemical staining of CD34 and Vimentin and the histochemical analysis for calcium and phosphorus content. The results were as follows. 1. In the histological and immunohistological staining, after 6week, fibroblasts, osteogenic cells and collgen fibers were observed more in experimental group than in control group. 2. In the histochemical analysis, the amount of calcium and phosphorus contents of the experimental group were more than the control group. From the results obtained, we suggest that the bone healing is stimulated by low-level laser irradiation in bone fractures.

수평자장 하에서 성장된 CZ 실리콘 단결정의 산소 분포 및 석출거동 (Oxygen Profiles and Precipitation Behavior in CZ Silicon Crystals Grown in A Transverse Magnetic Field)

  • 수평자장을 건 Czochralski(HMCZ) 방법으로 자장강도(B)와 도가니 회전속도(C)가 실리콘 단결정의 산소편석에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. B=2, 3, 4kG와 C=4-15rpm에서 <100> 방향으로 성장시킨 57mm 직경의 단결정들 내의 산소분포는 대체로 축을 따라서 불균일하였고 톱니모양을 나타내었다. 종래의 CZ 방법과 비교할 때, 이러한 산소분포의 불균일성은 위 강도의 수평자장이 결정성장계면으로의 산소전달에 불안정한 요소로 작용했음을 나타낸다고 볼 수 있다. 반면에 C의 증가는 산소분포의 불균일성의 약화와 산소농도의 전반적인 증가를 유도하였다. 이 결과를 토대로 B=2kG에서 27-36ppma인 산소분포를 가진 단결정이 프로그램된 C에 의해서 얻어졌다. 소자제조공정을 모의한 열처리 과정에서 HMCZ 실리콘의 산소석출은 종래의 CZ 실리콘의 산소석출에 비해서 상대적으로 불균일하였고, as-grown 상태에서의 고르지 못한 HMCZ 실리콘의 산소분포가 주요 원인임이 밝혀졌다.

소나무재선충병 매개충 솔수염하늘소(Monochamus alternatus) 방제를 위한 휴대용 수피제거기 개발 및 산란 방지 효과 (Invention of the Portable Bark Remover for Control of Pine Wilt Disease by Disruption of Oviposition of Insect Vector (Monochamus alternatus))

  • 소나무재선충(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus)에 의해서 발생되는 소나무재선충병(Pine wilt disease)은 우리나라 소나무림에 피해를 주고 있다. 소나무재선충은 매개충인 솔수염하늘소(Monochamus alternatus Hope) 성충이 건전한 소나무의 신초를 갉아먹는 후식과 산란을 통해서 옮겨진다. 현재까지의 소나무재선충병 방제에는 metam-sodium SL(25%)약제를 사용하여 고사한 소나무를 훈증하는 것이 주된 방법이었으나 농약에 의한 환경오염이나 훈증을 위해 피복하는 비닐로 인해 산림경관을 해치는 문제가 발생하였다. 따라서 휴대용 수피제거기(Portable Bark Remover)는 산림 사업용 엔진톱 끝부분에 장착되어, 소나무재선충병 감염 고사목 방제 현장에서 간단하고 빠르게 수피를 제거 함으로써 매개충의 산란과 부화 등의 서식처 제공이 차단되어 결국 온전한 생활사를 완성 할 수 없어 죽게 되도록 친환경적으로 개발되었다. 또한 소나무재선충병 매개충 방제를 위한 휴대용 수피제거기의 활용은 파쇄, 소각, 훈증 등의 기존의 방제 방법에 비하여 비용의 절감과 높은 방제 효과를 기대 할 수 있다.
