Methods: Participants were 106 patients over 60 years who had undergone PCI in a university hospital. Results: The mean scores for stress, depression, mindfulness, and life satisfaction were $9.10{\pm}2.53$, $7.77{\pm}3.32$, $88.57{\pm}8.47$, and $17.40{\pm}5.38$ respectively. There were statistically significant differences in life satisfaction by main source of income (F = 4.74, p = .004) and perceived health status as compared with peer (F = 4.80, p = .010). The structural equation modeling technique was used to analyze survey data from 650 adolescents in the W area for this survey study. The following are the key findings: First, the more positive adolescents' relationships with their parents, teachers, and peers, the lower their delinquency and the greater their satisfaction with school life. The study also discovers that delinquency experiences have a mediating effect on the relationships between parents, teachers, and peers, as well as on adolescents' school life satisfaction. Based on these findings, we present convergent intervention and practice strategies for improving adolescent school life satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate if self-esteem mediates the effects of conflict with parents, peer relationship and school adaptation in relation to the satisfaction with life of adolescents in multicultural families. The subjects of the present study are 152 adolescents of multicultural families ranging from 12-16 years of age from the cities of Seoul, and Daegu, and the provinces of Gyeong-gi, and Gyeong-buk, South Korea. The measured constructs are Conflict with Parents, Friendship, School Adaption, Self- Esteem and Satisfaction with Life Scale. The dates were analyzed using path analysis. The major results of this study demonstrate that self-esteem does not mediate the effects of conflict with parents and peer relationship in relation to the satisfaction with life of adolescents in multicultural families. However, self-esteem does mediate the effects of school adaptation in relation to the satisfaction with life of adolescents in multicultural families.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing life satisfaction in widowhood among older females. Using the sixth Korean Retirement and Income Study (KReIS) supplementary survey data, a total sample of 1,471 women aged 65 or older whose spouse had died were selected, divided into 508 young-old (65-74), 745 middle-old (75-84), and 218 oldest-old (85+). Then, factors influencing the life satisfaction of these three groups were analyzed, based on a combination of perceived health and interpersonal satisfaction levels. It was found that among the young-old group, a higher level of subjective health perception indicated by monthly income and material support and interpersonal satisfaction linked to more frequent participation in community gathering combined for an overall higher level of life satisfaction. For the middle-old group, higher life satisfaction was provided by monthly income, informational support, and material support for subjective health perception and no diseases for interpersonal satisfaction. The oldest-old group with higher life satisfaction referred to monthly income for subjective health perception and no experience in donation activities for interpersonal satisfaction. Based on these findings, this study provides implications for policy and practice to improve the life satisfaction of elderly women who have experienced their spouse's death.
