This study was conducted to determine how the family relationships of the middle-aged affect their life satisfaction and how family support services regulate the association between the two factors. A total of 8,695 middle-aged residents(aged 50 to 64 years) were chosen from among resident-respondents of the needs survey administered to establish the 4th local social security plan in Gyeonggi-do. The moderating effect of family support services on the relation between family relationship difficulties and life satisfaction was investigated. The analysis showed that the life satisfaction experienced by the middle-aged is slightly higher than the middle level. The lower the difficulty in family relationships, the higher the use of family support services, the more women than men, and the better the economy, the higher the life satisfaction of middle-aged. As a moderating variable, family support services significantly moderate the effects of family relationship difficulties experienced by the middle-aged on life satisfaction. The results are meaningful in that they comprehensively shed light on the difficulties that confront family relationships and the relationship structure of family support services, thereby contributing to the search for life satisfaction among the middle-aged in Gyeonggi-do.

Consumers' awareness of product value, and their product preferences, are becoming increasingly influential in product development, particularly in corporations' efforts in manufacturing products with a competitive edge. Corporations conduct surveys on consumers' product satisfaction and preferences and conduct in-depth studies on consumer needs. They then manufacture products in accordance with the results of these surveys and studies. With the necessity and demand for digital door lock products recently growing, this research sought to explore product competitiveness reinforcement factors that could facilitate market penetration, and to formulate corresponding design strategies. In-depth consumer interviews were also conducted to identify consumer lifestyles and needs. Furthermore, consumer preference images, purchase and use-related patterns, and the status of door lock markets were studied. In the past, to design and manufacture consumer-oriented products, corporations primarily resorted to the improvement of the products' technological features. At present, the users' product preferences and the ways that they use these products are the factors that determine product design. Consumers today tend to adjust their lifestyles according to available products, and prefer products that have greater value in terms of lifestyle and culture. Strategic points for reinforcing competitiveness were presented in this study: first, offering different values that will enhance consumer satisfaction, second, positively developing bio-recognizable methods that will boost consumer preference, third, meeting the consumers' expectations that door lock products should not be mere 'entrance and exit control' systems, but network security systems and fourth, adopting convenient authentication methods backed by advanced technologies.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the present state of a outdoor space planning and to analysis plan characteristics in based on regional characteristics in Housing complex plan. The analysis result of this study is as follows : first, we know that the right of regional characteristics is appearing variously every research workers. also an analysis about regional characteristics that should be considered in housing complex plan was insufficient. Second, regional characteristics can be classified into 5 factors. These are classified as a context of location, city link, life atmosphere, needs of locals and creation of image. Third, it has originality against other housing complex to graft items connected with 'U contest' on outdoor space planning. Also, it has affirmatively effected on image of Buk-gu and recognition of Dong beyn-dong and Seo beyn-dong. It is get out of the uniform design by a planning based on land and surrounding environment in arrangement and forms. Also residents have the satisfaction and pride in arrangement considering the climate of a region and security of the green space.

Cheju province exposes a separated residential culture compared to the mainland area. since it has its own unique climate, natural features. Therefore, this study tried to grasp the residential behavior. was based on the questionnaire to Cheju province people, using the approach by statistic verification. This study also focused and aimed on suggesting the basic data about housing plan which is appropriate to the climate. natural features requirement from inhabitants through the comparison and analysis between the mainland area and Cheju province. The results of the study are as follows; Firstly. the diversified applicative study on ‘Ol-rae’. ‘Ma-dang’, ‘Yoo-young’ and so forth that is traditional outside garden of Cheju is imperative, because in urban area people think traffics, vicinity, etc. are more significant, and in rural area people think occupying large outside space is more significant. Secondly. in the study of the degree of satisfaction on the housing, most of the people's was ‘neutral’ and in rural area quite a lot of negative reaction exposed. This is owing to the uniform introduction on residential style of the mainland area. Thirdly, housing plan should be considered family members' housing needs and provincial characteristics, meanwhile most of the people answered positively about the residential value which is considered very significant lately, for instance, security of privacy. appropriate plan for child's room.

Purpose: Expecting a new system of nursing security for elderly in operation in 2007, a substantial expansion of nursing facilities for elderly and quality management of those facilities are imperative now. Therefore. specific quality management measures or schemes which could be used for the operation of small-scale nursing homes are in urgent need. The purpose of this study was to develop a Quality Management Index(QMI) to guide Nursing Home management. Method: This study developed a QMI for small-scale nursing homes, which focused on quality management in structural dimensions such as environment, staffs, local community network, atmosphere, and quality management in process dimensions such as nursing, communication, resident satisfaction. The QMI developed in this study is based on extensive review of literature and the actual experiences of nursing home operation. It consists of 7 dimensions, 39 components and 148 indexes, which have been verified by three times validity tests of experts group. Then the QMI was used to evaluate the quality management levels of nursing homes in Korea. Result: In sum, after analyzing all nursing homes in Korea operated by nurses, this study found that there were significant differences of quality management level among facilities in several dimensions such as environment, staffs, local community connections, communication. In dimensions such as nursing, atmosphere, resident satisfaction, however, little differences of quality management level among facilities were reported. It is considered that this result has to do with several factors like the size of facilities, operation expenses, operation forms, the disposition of professional human resources, and philosophy and management policy of the owners. As far as generalization is concerned, however, it needs to be noted here that the sample size for this study is not statistically big enough to generalize the results. Conclusion: Having Developed a QMI for small-scale nursing home with 7 dimensions, 39 components and 148 indexes, this study is expected to be used in developing more elaborated quality evaluation tools for nursing homes, and also function as a practical guide of quality management for those who are opening and managing nursing homes. I hope this quality index could lead to further development of a standardized quality management index, and eventually contribute to quality improvement of nursing homes.

The purpose of this study is to find out how work participation of the elderly and their general characteristics - socio-demographic, economic, and health traits - influence on their self-esteem. The data was collected through one on one interviews of 295 elderly. Data on general attributes and the discrepancies in the level of self-esteem between work participants and non-participants were analyzed by using t-test and ANOVA, while the effects of work participation on their self-esteem were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. Results of this study shows us that work participation is the strongest predictor that determine the level of self-esteem for the elderly. In other words, work participation can make the aged better off and give them a sense of security and satisfaction. Finally, these findings may be used for realizing us the importance of the work participation program and developing and designing new promising approaches of work participation program, which meet psychological needs of the elderly as well as their economic needs.

We can easily acknowledge the facts that the e-market is increasingly and quickly changed by the smart phone user's. This research focuses the e-service quality and relationship between the e-service quality, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention in the AppShopping Mall. Based on the documentary research, the empirical study was followed by the questionnaire. The 313 usable questionnaires were collected by a self-administered survey. The results reveal that the e-service quality determinants are factors including customer service, app design, security, connectivity and user's convenience, and that the e-service quality is directly or indirectly related to customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. The AppShopping mall managers have to try on their best to find out the customer's needs, manage the lists of the e-service quality and develop the app.

By developing rider robot using omni wheel drive, a usability test for 6 people was conducted after finding out inconvenient factors and ways of improvement. The results of this research are as follows. First, we researched inconvenient factors captured by object of experiment using a rider robot who is living in the dormitory. It showed that the disabled showing 1.6 of satisfaction degree felt more inconvenient for normal people showing 4 of satisfaction degree. It was found that the height of seats is 10 centimeters higher, which caused inconvenience for moving. Second, each of the disabled and normal people showed 2.33 and 2.62 of satisfaction degree below the average for seats, back of a seat, armrest, footrest, security belts. However, for the revised design both of them showed 3.5 of satisfaction degree over the average. Third, most people felt this robot is quite expensive and said they would purchase it if subsidized by the government. Therefore, based on inconvenient factors and ways of improvement found in this research, further study needs to be conducted so as to improve the quality of life of the disabled.

The purpose of this study is to identify the educational needs among social workers in social welfare facilities in Jeju province concerning lack of knowledge, skill and attitude, and establish the systematic education for prosecuting diverse training and suggest fundamental data for designing future curriculum. The results of analyzing top 10 educational needs for the workers are as follows: firstly technics for managing crises, understanding and practice for clients (characteristics, human right, safety and health), case management (basic), counseling technique (basic), case management (advanced), counseling technique (advanced), planning and operating social welfare program, managing client response and emotional labor, improving competence for communication (between staffs and clients, etc.), and finally assessing project outcome (project plan, execution, management and assessment, etc.). Social workers in social welfare facilities in the area have highly recognized the necessity of profession centred education. However, they had low satisfaction with the diversity of profession education in the Jeju island and the systematic training courses. This survey suggests the various results concerning qualitative growth of profession education, expansion of job-centred curriculum and security of professional instructors to fulfil systematic education training for social workers.

For the property right's protection of the nation, the uncertainty's dissolution and the reliability's security of real estate trade are very important. With the life style's change, the market of real estate becomes diversification, and the level of the real estate trade becomes diversification. But compared with this, the trade system of the real estate has not broken away from the mode in the past yet. To cope with it actively, it needs to review the real estate trade form. Especially, it needs to investigate a plan that can advance the Agency Listing method. The Exclusive Agency Listing and the real estate Information Network System have been the usual system in some advanced countries like America, Japan. It is the system that establishes the real estate brokerage's trade order and encourages the execution for the real estate client's property right's protection and benefit offer. In our country, The Exclusive Agency Listing and the real estate Information Network System were created in the revised real estate brokerage law in 12, 1993. But because of varies of questions, it can not be settled down. So this paper will develop the characteristic factors of the Exclusive Agency Listing and the real estate Information Network System revitalization and examine the mutual relation depends on the factors. And these factors were studied through the proved analysis to the effecting made on the Agency function's consideration and real estate broker' trust and customer satisfaction. So depends on these, the existed value now will present the revitalization plan and political implication about the Exclusive Agency Listing and the real estate Information Network System.
