Antecedents of Online Impulse Buying Behavior: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of social shopping, adventure shopping, value shopping, relaxation shopping, and idea shopping in influencing impulsive online buying behavior moderated by scarcity and serendipity information. The research method used is the quantitative research paradigm using surveys as a medium to obtain primary data. The paper examines the theoretical research model and tested fifteen hypotheses. The questionnaire was developed based on indicators from previous research. A non-probability sampling framework is used in this study. The data collection method uses electronic and online questionnaires to collect primary data with a total sample of 330 taken with the criteria of having made transactions in e-commerce Shopee in the last three months. Data analysis tools using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. The results showed that 8 out of 15 hypotheses were accepted and supported. The results show that there is a relationship between the value of hedonic shopping, scarcity, and serendipity information on impulsive online buying behavior. Therefore, analyzing the needs of customers, optimizing customer satisfaction, service excellence, website quality, and the ease of use of e-shopping itself especially in the e-commerce industry should be taken seriously nowadays.

Measuring and Evaluating the Work-Related Stress of Nurses in Saudi Arabia during the Covid-19 Pandemic

  • Prior to the emergence of Covid-19, Saudi Arabia (SA) had never faced the challenge of dealing with a global pandemic. Significantly, the current crisis has impacted all industries and sectors in the country, including the healthcare system, and has led to an emphasis on human life being more precious and valuable than economic profit. This study focuses on the impact of Covid-19 on the health of nurses, including their quality of life, during 2020. Understanding the position of the nursing profession during the pandemic, including the most effective methods of preventing work-related stress is important. Information was acquired through an online survey method (i.e. self-completion), known as the Expanded Nursing Stress Scale (ENSS), which was distributed to nurses in all regions of SA. It was found that the main aspects impacting nurses' work-related stress include gender, employment type, training, and dealing with infected patients. In addition, they highlight that such stress plays a substantial role in patient safety and nurses' satisfaction at work, as well as the future survival of organizations. The emergence of Covid-19 as a novel infectious disease has increased nurses' uncertainty and work-related stress. The results of this research will provide insights into the views of both nurses and their managers, in order to identify the main indicators of stress.

AHP를 이용한 농촌주민 삶의 질 지표의 중요도 설정 (Establishing Weights among Indicators of Rural Residents' Quality of Life Using AHP)

  • This study aims to establish the indicator system of the quality of life of rural residents and to estimate the weights among criteria or sub-criteria that constitute the indicator system of the quality of life using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. Indicator system consists of four criteria, that is, health care, eduction & culture, living environment, and income and jobs. Each criterion include three sub-criteria that make up corresponding criterion. The results show that income and jobs was most highly evaluated among the four criteria. It was followed by health care, living environment, and eduction & culture. Among the total 12 sub-criteria, annual income was most highly evaluated, followed by medical service level, job satisfaction, and public transportation environment in terms of global weight which was deduced from expert questionnaire survey. This study implies that rural development policy needs to focus on increasing rural residents' income by creating good quality occupations and increasing the level of medical services, and expanding public transportation services in rural areas. This study has failed to collect local residents' opinions regarding their quality of life in spite of the efforts to reflect the opinions from various expert groups, which is the limitation of this study.

재무적 특성을 이용한 인터넷전문은행과 지방은행의 경영성과 분석 (Analyzing the Business Performance of Internet Primary Banks and Local Banks Using Financial Characteristics)

  • Purpose This study aims to analyse the impact of the development of fintech and the emergence of internet primary banks due to the increasing use of smartphones on the performance of traditional local banks from both financial and non-financial perspectives. Return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) are used to assess the performance differences between the two types of banks and how these differences are affected by their financial characteristics. Design/methodology/approach Using return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) as indicators, we identified the differences in operating performance between the two types of banks. In addition, this study analysed the impact of financial characteristics on profitability through regression analysis with various control variables. We further studied the impact of non-financial characteristics (customer reviews, social media reactions, etc.) on operating performance. Findings The net interest margin ratio of local banks had a positive impact, while the marketable securities ratio of Internet primary banks had a negative impact. The non-financial analysis shows that the number of customer reviews and social media reactions have a significant impact on the performance of Internet primary banks, suggesting that customer satisfaction and positive market perception are important factors in the performance of Internet primary banks.

영양교사 직무의미척도의 개발과 타당화 연구 (Development and Psychometric Evaluation of the Job Meaning Scale for Nutrition Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the reliability and validity of the Job Meaning Scale for Nutrition Teachers (JMS-NT). The JMS-NT, the Nutrition Teacher Job Satisfaction Scale (NTJSS), and the Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ) were administered to 180 nutrition teachers (female: 180, male: 0). The results showed that the JMS-NT had a three-factor structure in exploratory factor analysis. In addition, the test-retest reliability for all three factors of the JMS-NT was in the range of 0.69 to 0.85, and the internal consistency was in the range of 0.92 to 0.94, showing that they met the standards. The results of conducting Pearson correlation analyses between the JMS-NT and validity indicators such as the NTJSS and the MLQ were statistically significant, confirming the criterion validity of the scale. The above results show that the JMS-NT is a reliable and valid tool to measure the three factors of the job meaning of the nutrition teachers. Finally, the theoretical and practical significance, limitations, and future research tasks of the study were discussed.

중국이동통신산업중적복무질량(中国移动通信产业中的服务质量), 고객만의도화고객충성도(顾客满意度和顾客忠诚度) (Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty of Mobile Communication Industry in China)

  • 现有文献表明, 影响服务业顾客忠诚的最重要因素是服务质量. 然而, 在服务质量是直接还是间接影响顾客忠诚方面, 学者们的观点有着明显的分歧. 目前, 中国国内专门针对移动通信行业服务质量与顾客忠诚之间关系的文章较少. 此外, 以往相关文献多是将顾客忠诚作为一个整体变量进行研究, 没有进一步将其细分为多个维度. 基于此, 本文拟通过实证研究来探析移动通信业服务质量各维度与顾客忠诚各维度之间的直接和间接影响机理, 其中选择顾客满意作为二者关系的中介变量, 希望研究结论能给国内移动通信企业的服务管理提供有效的理论指导. 为了使搜集到的数据有效, 本次调研范围仅限于黑龙江哈尔滨市, 调查对象为移动通信公司的用户. 本次调研采取随机抽样的方式, 共发放问卷350份, 收回问卷325份, 回收率为 92.9%. 剔除无效问卷, 有效问卷为289份, 即有效回收率为82.6%. 本文借鉴国内外现有文献所使用的量表, 这些量表已经在实证研究中得到验证. 本文提出六个假设, 总体而言, 只有四个假设没有得到支持. 为了验证服务质量构成要素量表的合理性, 本文对289份有效样本进行探索性因子分析. 同样, 对顾客忠诚的维度进行检验. 本研究采用Cronbach's ${\alpha}$系数来评价量表的信度. 本研究从内容效度, 结构效度和聚合效度三方面对问卷进行效度检验. 本研究对数据和模型的拟合优度进行检验, 以提高假设检验的准确程度. 通过文献资料的收集, 整理及数据处理, 本文提出了服务质量五维度模型以及服务质量与顾客忠诚度之间相互关系模型, 通过实证分析验证了有形性, 可靠性, 反应性, 保证性和关怀性是服务质量的五个构成要素, 验证了PZB对于服务质量的SERVQUAL的测量方法, 研究了移动通信服务质量各维度对顾客忠诚各维度的直接影响机理, 以及服务质量各维度如何通过顾客满意这一中介变量对顾客忠诚各维度的间接影响机理, 建立了相应的关系模型,并运用结构方程分析方法,对模型进行实证检验, 得出如下研究结论: 第一, 移动通信服务质量由有形性, 可靠性, 响应性, 保证性和移情性五个要素构成, 顾客忠诚由态度忠诚和行为忠诚两个维度构成. 在PZB设计的SERVQUAL量表基础上, 本文针对移动通信行业设计了服务质量测量量表, 通过探索性因子分析得出五个因子. 这五个因子与五构成要素基本一致, 说明服务质量五要素概念适用于移动通信行业. 同样, 对顾客忠诚量表进行因子分析, 得出两个因子, 与本文中的态度忠诚和行为忠诚相一致. 第二, 移动通信服务质量对顾客忠诚存在直接和间接的正向影响作用. 其中, 服务质量对态度忠诚有直接和间接的正向作用, 间接作用是通过顾客满意这一中介变量影响的; 服务质量对行为忠诚有直接和间接的正向作用, 间接作用是通过顾客满意和态度忠诚这两个中介变量影响的. 这说明移动通信服务质量越好, 顾客的满意度越高, 其对服务提供商的态度就越积极, 在行为上就越容易表现出对服务提供商的忠诚. 而且, 服务质量各维度对顾客忠诚各维度的影响机理是不同的, 比如: 有形性对顾客满意有直接的正向作用, 但对顾客忠诚却没有显著的直接作用; 保证性对顾客满意没有显著的直接作用, 但对顾客忠诚有直接和间接的正向作用. 第三, 顾客满意在移动通信服务质量与态度忠诚, 行为忠诚之间的具有显著的中介作用, 这说明服务质量的提高可以增加顾客的满意度, 而满意的顾客更容易成为忠诚的顾客; 而态度忠诚在移动通信服务质量与行为忠诚之间的具有显著的中介作用, 这说明顾客行为上表现出忠诚可能是虚假忠诚, 只有态度和行为都忠诚的顾客才是真正的忠诚顾客. 本文的研究结论对中国及其它国家的电信运营商如何提升服务质量有一定的借鉴意义. 本文存在两方面的局限性: 首先, 本研究仅在黑龙江哈尔滨地区进行问卷调研, 针对移动公司用户, 统计数据会存在一定的抽样误差, 影响最终的统计分析结果. 第二, 本研究主要探讨了服务质量对顾客忠诚的影响关系, 并引入了顾客满意作为中介变量, 但没有考虑其他可能影响顾客忠诚的因素, 例如顾客价值, 消费者特征等.

국가문화가 서비스품질의 평가에 미치는 영향 : 한국과 영·미권 국가의 비교 (Impact of National Culture on Service Quality Evaluations : Comparison of Korea and Anglo-Saxon Countries)

  • Purpose - The objective of this research is to investigate whether national culture influences consumers' service evaluations. The services industry is receiving increasing attention from academia and practitioners as its position grows in global markets. Standardization or localization is a traditional managerial decision in global business. As the boundaries of services expand across national borders, firms are required to decide whether to standardize services or adjust to local needs. Though it is imperative to reflect global perspectives in marketing theories, these perspectives are mostly based on Western conceptualization of the world. Through a comparison of consumer groups from two culturally remote countries, service quality evaluation mechanisms are examined based on similar stimuli. The study tries to expand service marketing perspectives across national borders. Research design, data, and methodology - Eastern and Western countries are known to be culturally distinct. One Eastern and one Western country were chosen: an Anglo-Saxon country (the U.S., England, and Australia) and South Korea. In Hofstede's cultural dimensions, the differences between the two are pronounced. The Anglo-Saxon based countries share many similarities. Samples of the same sites are targeted. Questionnaires using a service quality scale (SERVQUAL) and a customer satisfaction scale were distributed. Utilizing Hofstede's typology of culture, the service evaluation mechanisms of the respondents from the two groups are evaluated. Three hypotheses are proposed from the review of the literature. These are service evaluation habits, importance of service quality dimensions for the individualistic/collectivistic countries, and strong/weak uncertainty avoidance cultures. Consumers from the individualistic countries are considered to care about themselves and demand a higher level of responsiveness and assurance. On the other hand, consumers from high uncertainty avoidance cultures are assumed to rely more on tangible questions of service quality, as these are the only predictable service quality indicators. A t-test and regression analysis are applied to validate the constructs. Results - The respondents from the Anglo-Saxon countries are more generous on service evaluations than Koreans. Researchers have indicated that Americans tend to give higher service evolution scores than European, Mexican, and Korean counterparts. The tendency is the same here. The sample from Anglo-Saxon countries demonstrated higher service evaluation scores on every dimension of SERVQUAL. For the second hypothesis, the respondents from the collectivistic culture rely less on core service dimensions (assurance and responsiveness) due to their tendency to place more value on group harmony than individual interest. However, the third hypothesis was not validated. Conclusions - The study attempted to expand the scope of service marketing to reflect cross-national perspectives. Service quality is known to have a strong influence on customer satisfaction and loyalty behavior. However, this research demonstrated that individuals from different cultural territories respond heterogeneously to the same stimuli. Scholars argue that national cultures are main factors in such deviated behavior. Scholars and global managers should be aware of differences in consumer value judgment mechanisms such as satisfaction, expectations, and perceptions.

슬로시티 지역주민의 인구사회학적 특성이 지역주민교육에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Socioeconomic Traits on Local Resident Education in Slow City)

  • 본 연구는 대안적 지역발전의 모델로 평가받고 있는 슬로시티 지역주민들을 대상으로 지역주민의 인구사회학적 특성이 슬로시티에 대한 태도 및 지역주민교육에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하고자 한다. 지역의 관광개발에 있어 지역주민의 교육은 지역주민의 태도형성 및 주민참여에 있어 매우 중요한 요소가 되며 특히 지역개발에 있어 지역주민들의 긍정적인 태도는 매우 필수적이 됨에 따라 이에 대한 이해의 필요성은 점점 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 슬로시티 지역주민의 인구사회학적 특성들이 슬로시티에 대한 태도형성과 지역주민교육에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 검증해 보았다. 슬로시티 지역 4곳의 445명의 지역주민을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문을 진행한 결과, 슬로시티에 대한 긍정적 태도 형성에는 지역주민의 소득과 학력수준이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 슬로시티 지역주민교육에 대한 긍정적 태도형성에는 거주기간, 학력수준, 소득수준이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 슬로시티 지역주민교육 참여횟수가 지역주민교육에 대한 전반적인 만족도에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타남에 따라 교육의 양적인 부분보다는 교육의 내용과 방법 등의 질적인 부분에 대해 더욱 집중하여 진행하는 것이 지역주민교육에서는 효율적이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 구체적인 연구결과들은 향후 지속가능한 지역개발을 위한 슬로시티 지역주민 대상 교육의 프로그램 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

AHP를 활용한 우리나라 예선서비스 품질평가 모형 개발 연구 (Development of Quality Evaluation Model for Tug Service in Korea using AHP)

  • 예선서비스는 항만 안전 확보를 위해 필수적인 서비스이다. 하지만, 상대적으로 낮은 예선시장 진입장벽으로 인해, 예선업체의 수는 증가하였으며, 이에 업체 간 과당경쟁 발생과 서비스의 질적 저하에 대한 우려가 높아지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 예선업자에 대한 서비스 품질평가 제도 마련이 시급하지만, 아직까지 본격적인 시행은 요원한 상황이다. 본 연구의 목적은 예선서비스의 품질 향상과 함께 공공재적 성격을 강화하기 위한 수단으로 인식되는 예선서비스 평가 제도의 시행을 위해 실제적으로 적용이 가능한 예선서비스 품질평가 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌 및 사례연구, 전문가 인터뷰 등을 통해 2개의 대분류와 8개의 중분류, 25개의 세부 평가지표로 구성된 평가모형을 개발하였으며, AHP 분석을 시행하여 평가 항목의 상대적인 중요도를 도출하고 배점의 근거를 마련하였다. 분석 결과, 경영평가보다는 이용자만족도의 가중치가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 경영평가의 세부지표별 가중치는 시설관리-경영관리-재무건전성 순으로 나타나 서비스에 직접적으로 활용하는 시설의 관리가 중요한 것으로 분석되었다. 이용자만족도는 안전성-정시성-서비스만족도-편리성-투명성 순으로 나타나 안전성 확보가 최우선이며, 예선서비스 제공을 위한 프로세스의 편리성과 투명성보다 안전성과 정시성 같은 서비스 본연의 품질 개선이 우선적으로 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

평점 예측 모델 개발을 위한 관광지 만족도 정량 지수 구축: 제주도 관광지 리뷰를 중심으로 (Development of a Tourist Satisfaction Quantitative Index for Building a Rating Prediction Model: Focusing on Jeju Island Tourist Spot Reviews)

  • 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 관광 산업이 회복되면서 많은 관광객들이 다양한 플랫폼을 활용하고 리뷰를 남기고 있지만, 대량의 데이터 속에서 유용한 정보를 찾기 어려워 아직도 여행지 선정 과정에서 많은 시간과 비용이 낭비되고 있다. 이에 따라 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있지만, 평점이 없거나 플랫폼별로 다른 형태의 평점 제공으로 인해 연구에 한계를 가지고 있으며, 평점과 리뷰 내용이 일치하지 않는 경우도 있어 추천 모델 구축에 어려움을 주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 7,104개의 제주도 지역 관광지 리뷰를 활용하여 제주도에 특화된 관광지 만족도 정량 지수를 개발하고 이를 활용하여 '평점 예측 모델'을 구축하였다. 모델의 성능을 확인하기 위해 실험 데이터 700건의 평점을 본 연구에서 개발된 모델과 LSTM을 활용하여 예측 하였으며, 제안된 모델이 LSTM 보다 약 4.67% 높은 73.87%의 가중 정확도로 성능이 더 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 평점과 리뷰 내용 사이의 불일치 문제를 해결하고, 평점이 없는 리뷰나 다양한 형태의 평점을 정형할 수 있으며, 다른 도메인에 적용하여 여행의 모든 분야에서 신뢰할 수 있는 평점 지표를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
