Relation of Social Security Network, Community Unity and Local Government Trust (지역사회 사회안전망구축과 지역사회결속 및 지방자치단체 신뢰의 관계)

  • This study aims at analyzing difference of social Security network, Community unity and local government trust according to socio-demographical features, exploring the relation of social Security network, Community unity and local government trust according to socio-demographical features, presenting results between each variable as a model and verifying the property of mutual ones. This study sampled general citizens in Gwangju for about 15 days Aug. 15 through Aug. 30, 2014, distributed total 450 copies using cluster random sampling, gathered 438 persons, 412 persons of whom were used for analysis. This study verified the validity and credibility of the questionnaire through an experts' meeting, preliminary test, factor analysis and credibility analysis. The credibility of questionnaire was ${\alpha}=.809{\sim}{\alpha}=.890$. The inout data were analyzed by study purpose using SPSSWIN 18.0, as statistical techniques, factor analysis, credibility analysis, correlation analysis, independent sample t verification, ANOVA, multi-regression analysis, path analysis etc. were used. the findings obtained through the above study methods are as follows. First, building a social Security network has an effect on Community institution. That is, the more activated a, the higher awareness on institution. the more activated street CCTV facilities, anti-crime design, local government Security education, the higher the stability. Second, building a social Security network has an effect on trust of local government. That is, the activated local autonomous anti-crime activity, anti-crime design. local government's Security education, police public oder service, the more increased trust of policy, service management, busines performance. Third, Community unity has an effect on trust of local government. That is, the better Community institution is achieved, the higher trust of policy. Also the stabler Community institution, the higher trust of business performance. Fourth, building a social Security network has a direct or indirect effect on Community unity and local government trust. That is, social Security network has a direct effect on trust of local government, but it has a higher effect through Community unity of parameter. Such results showed that Community unity in Gwangju Region is an important factor, which means it is an important variable mediating building a social Security network and trust of local government. To win trust of local residents, we need to prepare for various cultural events and active communication space and build a social Security network for uniting them.

Salinity Monitoring of Soups of The Institutions Enrolled at Center for Children's Foodservice Management (어린이급식관리지원센터 등록 시설 국물음식의 염도 모니터링)

  • The salinity of soups of institutions enrolled at the Center for Children's Foodservice Management was monitored to reduce sodium intake of children by continuously managing salinity of soups provided by children food service. Monitoring of salinity was conducted by a salinity meter (SB-1500H, HM digital) three times in 2016 by patrolling children's institutions for the instruction of public health. The average salinity of soups provided by total children's institution showed a significant decrease in salinity - $1^{st}$ 0.45%, $2^{nd}$ 0.41% and $3^{rd}$ 0.39% - as monitoring was proceeded (p<0.01). When salinity of soups was analyzed according to the type of children's institution, the salinity of national and public institutions showed no significant decrease. In contrast, the salinity of private institutions decreased significantly (p<0.05). Depending on the enrollment of the food service, there was no significant difference in average salinity of soups between large food services, which have over 50 children, and small food services, which have less than 50 children. However, all food services showed a salinity decrease from the $1^{st}$ monitoring to the $3^{rd}$ monitoring. Salinity according to the type of soup showed that salinity of clear soup, miso soup, and stew except beef soup decreased from the $1^{st}$ monitoring to $3^{rd}$ monitoring. However, there was no significant difference in salinity according to the type of soup which can be attributed to a large difference in salinity among the same type of soup. The individual soup showing the biggest difference between maximum and minimum salinity of soup was egg soup (0.62%), potato soup (0.54%), and mushroom soup (0.64%). The present average salinity of soup provided by children's institutions was less than 0.5% which is the recommended standard of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. However, the salinity of soups should be managed within a certain range including the minimum salinity regarding the taste education of children.

Comparison between Japan, China, and Korea on How Parents with a Toddler Feel about Food Safety (일본, 중국, 한국 영유아 부모의 식품 안전에 대한 인식 비교)

  • Purpose : The aim of this research was to clarify the difference in awareness of food safety and what they feel as dangerous among parents in Japan, China, and Korea and how they are different among the nations. Methods : Research subjects were 250 parents in Japan, 181 parents in China, 166 parents in Korea whose children attend a child institution or a day care center. We conducted a questionnaire survey that was self-written and anonymous. Results : Parents in Japan feel safer than Korea and China, and parents in Korea feel safer than China about food that are sold generally. Especially, in China, the average of 5 level scale was lower than the median so it shows that people do not trust food that are sold in the market. All 3 countries tend to have the awareness that "pesticide that is over the standard amount is detected from vegetables in China" and "vegetable grown without pesticides and organic produce are safe" and showed no significant difference. Also, there was a significant difference statistically for the awareness that "it makes it easier to get cancer if you eat food that contain radiation" and "there is a possibility that seafood caught near Japan contain radiation". Parents in Japan emphasize that "the price is low" the most and it was significantly higher than in China and Korea. Also, similar to parents in Japan, parents in Korea tend to emphasize that it is "domestic". On the other hand, it verified that parents in China emphasized "the meat or fish is grown without antibiotics" and "it uses vegetable grown without pesticides".

A study for a play of improvement in education curriculum for bodyguard related theory (한국 대학의 경호관련학과 이론분야 교육과정의 학문적 정립)

  • The objectives of this study is to analyze the curriculum based on the hypothesis of bodyguarding related department and to research the differences of the amongthree groups of public bodyguarding, private bodyguarding and bodyguarding professors with its significance in order to establish the development of direction in education curriculum for bodyguarding related departments at university level,For this purpose, this study categorized the sample group into three kind and surveyed them, Those are public bodyguarding members, private bodyguarding member, and the professors and 121 samples were selected in those three with the help of self-admistrated method, which is one of the sampling methods, First, among the current bodyguarding related theoretical disciplines significant differences among groups was presented by the evaluations on bodyguarding science, traffic safety management, fire extinguishing, secretary science, administration, psychology, sports education, sport physiology, jurisprudence and philosophy, which showed differences among groups through the multiple comparison, But there was no significant difference among the means of the groups concerned with the other curriculum, We could know that more curriculum is needed to facilitate the private bodyguarding in disciplines and system of the current theory in this study. For it is predicted the demand for the private bodyguarding will increase continuously in the future. for which we should prepare. Thus it is required to increase the theoretical curriculum of the private bodyguarding. That is. the models of curriculum like introduction to machinary guarding. introduction to communication. computer theory and so on are required to be established. In addition to that. it must be noticed that the current private bodyguarding is not guaranteed by the legitimate institution. But the private bodyguarding is related to the police service. thus the curriculum of jurisprudence and police science should be studied together.

Measuring Efficiency of National R&D Programs within Nanotechnology Field Using DEA Model (DEA모형을 활용한 나노기술 분야 국가 R&D 과제의 효율성 분석)

  • Recently, nanotechnology has grown as one of the leading science technology along with other converging technologies such as biology, information, medicine etc., bringing the continuous investment of the government in nano-related field. However, it is difficult to measure and evaluate the performance of the national research and development programs because of the multidimensional character of the expected outcomes. This study aims to measuring efficiency of the national nanotechnology research and development programs using DEA model. The decision making units are nine nano-related ministries including the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. The input variables are total expenditure, number of the programs and average expenditure per program. The output variables are science, technology and economic indicator, and the combination of these outputs are respectively measured as seven different DEA cases. The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future was the first efficient ministry in total technical efficiency. Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety were efficient in pure technical efficiency, when the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy took the first in the scale efficiency. The program efficiency was affected by organizational characteristics such as the institution's scale, the concentration of the research paper or the patent, technology transfer or the commercialization. The result of this study could be utilized in development of the policy in the nanotechnology and the related field. Furthermore, it could be applied for the modification of expenditure management or the adjustment of the research and development programs' input and output scale for each ministry.

Assessment of the Dieticians' Attitudes about Functional Foods and Their Needs for Training

  • The object of this study was to examine attitudes and knowledge of Korean dieticians about functional foods. We investigated their perceived knowledge and their attitudes regarding risks versus benefits, and recommendation about the use of functional foods; as well as their frequency of personal use, and the educational supports and training needs of dieticians. We developed a questionnaire to assess the dieticians' attitudes related to functional foods. This questionnaire was used for characterizing functional food-related attitudes on the basis of factor and reliability analysis in the following study. The questionnaires were distributed to 802 practicing dieticians working in Daegu and Gyeongsangbukdo. A total of 244 respondents (mean age $34\pm5.7$ years) returned the completed questionnaires through online surveys. Descriptive statistics and ANOV A were used to analyze data. Fewer than $2\%$ of dieticians claimed themselves to be knowledgeable about functional foods, more than $79\%$ consumed functional foods more than once a week, and $88\%$ of dieticians expressed an interest in receiving training about functional foods. Dieticians had favorable attitudes about the rewards from functional foods but were not confident about the safety and usage recommedation of these foods. The level of knowledge and educational support at their universities about functional foods affected the dieticians' attitudes regarding the rewards from and recommendation about the use of functional foods. These results suggest a need for additional educational opportunities to facilitate a better understanding of the risks and benefits of functional foods and their proper usage. Dietetics professionals must adapt to changes in health practices through effective educational programs integrating sufficient knowledge about functional foods.

  • Highly probable cause of the current turmoil critical national infrastructure and private enterprise information systems failures or national event of an accident, it is inevitable huge hit in corporate business as well as a significant impact on the national benefit. This is a trend subject to the stability of the national management information system has a significant impact on people and society, such as banking, telecommunications, transport and energy, which can be extended into a private institution. However, public and private ICT business through the development of Information system Audit or CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification check the quality of the target system, but quality check on the reliability of the information system operations after construction is either not promoting met for some safety test results a situation that does not enabled by insufficient. By preventing the disorder or an accident of this study, the diagnostic reliability information systems through inspection and evaluation system development of information systems being established, and to minimize service confusion and study ways to ensure customer - oriented service.

  • The Ministry of the Interior and Safety amends the enforcement ordinance of the public service design method and applies it to the project tasks of each institution and cases of social problem solving and public service innovation are increasing according to service design methodology. This study is to develop the $360^{\circ}$ VR content element in order to deliver the understanding and effective improvement of the service to the consumers in the process of problem discovery and the prototype that visualize the key solution according to the service design methodology. By applying it to the actual public service design project, it was possible to predict the result with high satisfaction after improvement. This paper is meaningful in that it proposes new approach and empirical value to consumers and contribute to the improvement of the service design process as a convergence study on the future service design using the $360^{\circ}$ VR prototype.

Effectiveness of Evaluation for Visiting Care Service Institution: From the User's Point of View (방문요양서비스 기관 평가의 효과성 : 이용자 관점에서)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the effectiveness of the evaluation of long-term care insurance visiting care service institutions for the elderly from the user's point of view. To this end, data from a survey of 266 users collected through allocation sampling by region(14 cities and counties) in Jeollabuk-do and public data from 47 institutions were combined and analyzed using a multi-layered model. The main research results are as follows. First, among the five evaluation areas, the higher the score in the 'Rights·Responsibility' area, which is to give users a sense of rights and respect users, the higher the service quality and satisfaction. Second, among the five evaluation areas, the 'Rights·Responsibility' area had an effect on loyalty. In addition, it was found that the 'Outcome' area for satisfaction with institutions and employees and changes in users had an effect on loyalty. Third, it was found that 'Institutional Management', 'Environment·Safety', 'Process' did not affect service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. Based on these results, it is proposed to reorganize the evaluation scale that users can recognize and that is faithful to the purpose.

  • The national defense requires uninterrupted decision-making, even under direct or indirect impacts on non-traditional threats such as infectious diseases. Since all work utilizes the information system, it is very important to ensure the availability of the information system. In particular, in terms of security management, defense work is being performed by dividing the network into a national defense network and a commercial Internet network. This study suggests a work execution plan that takes into account the efficiency of work performed on the Internet and the effectiveness of security through effective defense information system operation. It is necessary to minimize the network contact point between the national defense network and the commercial Internet, and to select a high-priority one among various tasks and operate it efficiently. For this purpose, actual cases were investigated for "A" institution and characteristics were presented. Through the targeted tasks and operation plans to improve the effectiveness of defense tasks and ensure security, presented in this paper, it will be possible to increase the availability of task performance even in non-traditional threats such as infectious diseases.
