  • The objective of this GM Red-X project was to reduce customer complaints on Kalos, Lacetti, Magnus as reported through 2004.1 - 2005.1 warranty performance. Seatbelt alarm lamp mal-function problem is connected with safety. So it is critical issue. Seatbelt alarm lamp mal-function which caused by buckle occurred 22 cases from 2004.1 to 2005.1.

  • 보증 데이터를 통해 제품의 수명 및 형상모수를 추정할 때 최우추정법과 같은 전통적인 통계 분석방법(Classical Statistical Method)을 많이 사용하였다. 그러나 전통적인 통계 분석방법을 통해 수명과 형상모수의 추정 시 표본의 크기가 작거나 불완전한 경우 추정량의 신뢰성이 떨어진다는 단점이 있고 또 누적된 경험과 과거자료를 충분히 이용하지 못하는 단점도 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 모수의 사전분포를 가정하는 베이지안(Bayesian) 기법의 적용이 필요하다. 하지만 보증 데이터분석에 있어서 베이지안 기법을 이용한 연구는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 수명분포가 와이블 분포를 갖는 보증데이터를 활용하여 모수 추정의 효율성을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 와이블 분포의 모수가 대수정규분포를 따르는 사전분포를 갖는 베이지안 기법과 전통적 통계기법인 생명표법(Actuarial method)을 활용하여 추정량을 도출하고 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 충분한 관측 데이터를 확보할 수 없는 경우에 베이지안 기법을 이용한 보증 데이터 분석방법의 성능을 확인하고자 한다.

  • The periodic technical vehicle inspection is to prevent the accident through the finding and fixing the defects of the vehicle. The periodic technical vehicle inspection in Korea was studied for assessing the adequacy of the inspection frequency. The inspection frequencies of many countries including EU, USA and Japan were compared. The average mileages by the vehicle usage and type were represented. The warranty period and recommended replacement period of parts of the domestic auto makers was studied. Currently, the inspection frequency for the periodic technical vehicle inspection in Korea is appropriate. The pass-fail rate and the cost-benefit analysis for the periodic technical inspection in Korea will be needed in the decision making process for the inspection frequency.

  • A Failure data from operating condition includes various failures. Reliability evaluation by operating condition is more correct than test condition. Additional, the evaluation result by operating condition is widely used for quality assurance, forecasting amount of manufacturing at EOL. To discover valuable things from the failure data, arrangement of the failure data and information technique to handle data is needed among many failure data. This paper introduces a reliability prediction program to solve this problem based on the failure. And new technologies for parameters estimation with method of Graphic-Wizard-Parameters-Estimation and Genetic Algorithm are introduced.

  • This study was to identify the effect of the satisfaction of certification, the educational use of the company offering certificate, the system of confirmation of the same model and the demographic aspect on the companies to see if compulsory certification(KC certificate) has negative effects on company management. First, the satisfaction of certification could reflect positive influences on company management. Second, there is no statistical significance in the education from the company offering certificate as a result of analyzing relationships but education is required and has an effect on improving quality according to the result of frequency analysis. Last, the system to declare by identifying the same model has a difference in significance in sales account, the development of products and warranty service for products.

  • This study suggests a novel way of safety cognition with single sensor. It is beneficial to make the most of the 3-axis acceleration sensor for context inference. It has remarkable advantages that size is too small and less malfunction or error. This study shows the calculation of the common life safety through the events data from the 3-axis acceleration sensor only. That includes the analyzation of the volume of energy and converting quantitative numerical value.

  • This paper suggests to guideline food safety and economic gains in the restaurant business Industry. First, provide useful tools for easily understanding in the food safety and express warranty Second, manage all documents like sanitation report, claim report in related to the product liability as a precautions. Third, execute fast & proper action for consumer's demage. Fourth, organize positively brand image in the corporate. Fifth, implement useful tools in the product standard and qualification such as ISO9000, HACCP, and PLMS. Sixth. Support co-partner against product liability. Seventh, take a action early for product liability in the foodservice industry.

  • South Korea is the world's second-largest importer of LNG and possess about 70 tanks which are in operation by 2017. Thirty years as the design warranty period have exceeded since LNG storage tanks as the core facility of LNG industry were constructed in 1986. The LNG storage tank is under precision safety diagnosis from 2014 due to urban gas business act amendment. There is no criteria of condition evaluation for outer tank of LNG storage tank at the time of precision safety diagnosis. Through analysis of structural characteristic of LNG storage tank and civil structure condition evaluation standards, the criteria of condition evaluation for main members was developed. The criteria of objective condition evaluation can improve safety and reliability of LNG storage tank and suggest matenance criteria.
