This study focuses on the issue of improving safety management of elevators. The role of certification and supervision in reducing the associated accidents is specifically addressed. The results of simple statistical analysis suggests that a certification procedure emphasizing the quality assurance during manufacturing and supervision during assembly and installation of elevators are needed and can be effective in minimizing the associated accidents.

Safety requirment or guidance have been developing for a long time in the UIC, Germany, France, and Japan etc. Also, In Korea, the Ministry Construction & Transportation make an progress about this issue, document, called 'railroad tunnel safety standards 6th draft', was developed. In this paper, we'll show standard of other country and compare with Korea draft. next, we'll show some kind of railroad safety facility and installations and explain a relationship of safety issue and standards

The article assesses the level of navigation safety, in theoretical terms, defines the complexity of managing navigational risks in practice. The issues of assessing the navigational safety have been studied due to the importance and relevance of the issue in question, however, due to the great complexity of the problem under consideration, the article considers and indicates the directions for the development of the solution of the given direction, where, first of all, it became necessary to analyze the issue of assessing the levels of navigation risks when navigating vessels of various types in difficult navigation conditions.

This study focuses on the issue of control performance of safety budget for preventing and reducing industrial accidents in Korea. The effect of safety budget such as industrial accident prevention fund on the safety performance is statistically examined first. The role and control performance of industrial accident prevention fund is particularly addressed to reduce the related accidents. The effectiveness of the industrial accident prevention fund-industrial accident relationship is then explained with a simple PI control mechanism.

For settlement of safety supervision and prevention agains industry's accident, first, it needs to design and manufacture for safety of machines and tools, second, it must safety foundation of machines and tolls and sticking of safety facilities, third, it must be wear of protective device in operations. Then it needs to fit countermeasure founding and continuous safety education and itself inspection control that analysis and study the point at issue of safety.

The aim of apartment house remodeling should be accomplished by three courses; first, to reduce resources and environmental pollution, and second, to overcome social issue such as sick house syndrome on the point of residents' safety, and last, to secure life quality of apartment house healthy and nature friendly through satisfying residents' desire comfortable and safety course. Thus, this study aims to suggest the basic data to improve remodeling of apartment house considering residents' safety on the point of greenness, because of preventing social issue such as sick house syndrome, creating comfortable interior space, deducing indiscreet remodeling, and developing sustainable construction, through grasping customers' demand, and analyzing the correlation between remodeling status and residents' attitude survey of sick house syndrome.

Today, as the number of vehicles equipped with autonomous driving functions increases, the use of various sensors increases, and the complexity of system configuration increases. The ISO 26262 standard was published to prevent caused by systematic errors. Recently, the issue of external environmental factors rather than mechanical failure has increased. This issue is a problem outside of the scope of ISO 26262, and the ISO/DIS 21448 standard was published to solve this problem. Also, Mobileye proposed the RSS model that defined safe distance for dangerous situations in order to secure the safety of autonomous vehicles and who is responsible in case of an accident. In this paper, integrated process of ISO 21448 and RSS model, and through these results, we expect that possible to contribute to securing the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicles in the future.

In recent years, as the number of death in accidents have increased in the working environment, the safety issue has emerged as an important social issue. Despite efforts to reduce safety accidents through many existing safety-related policies and systems, accident prevention is limited. Accident prevention services using IoT technology have been commercialized recently and the effect is very high. In this study, IOT technology is used to investigate the latest cases of reducing death accidents in the work environment.

The aging of society is not only Korea's challenge but also a global issue. This leads to an increase in the number of elderly drivers who are much more prone to major traffic accidents. Therefore, we need a system to test aged drivers' driving abilities. As part of efforts to establish such a system, researchers of KoROAD. have conducted a study on the correlation between aging and driving abilities by analyzing old drivers' reaction time. The study shows that there was a sharp increase in reaction time for drivers aged 65 and over. The current reaction time of 2.5 secs for the 85 percent of eligible drivers needs to be revised upward in aging societies. From now on, we need to come up with the traffic safety measures that can deal with the issue of drivers of old age.

Safety of packaging foods has increasingly been a significant global issue in recent years. This paper aims to present the broad information and perspectives on food packaging safety in Thailand. This paper compiles the use of different packaging materials, their safety characteristics, and the regulations in Thailand in accordance with the world regulations. In addition, it covers the opinion of various parties related to food packaging in Thailand. Some scientific based results coupled with the interviewing and questionnaire data from the previous and ongoing researches are discussed here. This paper summarizes the food packaging safety in Thailand today and proposed the trends tomorrow along with the future world requirements.
