  • This study is about the qualitative safety assessment for hydrogen gas filling facilities in Korea operating with one-bank type. The purpose of this safety assessment is about the development of components for design, fabrication, assembly, operability of dispenser and systems of the safety. For the qualitative safety assessment method, the study used FMEA(failure mode & effect analysis) and HAZOP(hazard & operability). This study evaluated the safety through FMEA and HAZOP then by referring to P&ID and PFD of hydrogen dispenser, thereby examining the dangerousness of the equipments, defects of the structure and problems of the operation.

위해평가 및 모니터링 수행을 위한 표본크기 추정연구: 식품 중 중금속 모니터링 데이터를 중심으로 (Sample Size Estimation for Risk Assessment and Monitoring Based on Heavy Metal Monitoring Data from Food Items)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존에 수행된 식품 중금속 모니터링 데이터를 이용하여 위해평가 및 모니터링을 수행할 때 요구되는 표본 수를 추정하고자 하였다. 중금속 3종 (카드뮴, 납 및 수은)과 17개의 식품을 대상으로 2,400개의 모니터링 데이터를 선정하여 연구에 활용하였다. 기존의 연구에서 수행된 모니터링 데이터의 표준편차와 오차범위 및 신뢰구간 값(95, 99% CI)을 활용하여 표본 수 추정공식에 따라 계산하였다. 표본 수 추정 공식에 따라 표본 크기를 추정한 결과, 95% 신뢰구간에서 카드뮴의 경우 계산된 표본의 크기는 최소 8개에서 최대 90개, 납의 경우 최소 7개에서 최대 1,062개, 수은의 경우 최소 11개에서 최대 238개로 각각 추정되었다. 식품 중 중금속 데이터의 표준 편차와 오차범위가 표본 수를 추정하는데 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 모니터링 데이터의 특성을 반영하여 표본 크기를 추정하고자 하였으며, 이는 향후 위해평가 및 모니터링 수행 계획을 수립하기 위한 표본 수를 결정하는 기초연구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • According to the computerization of railway signalling systems, the safety demonstration and assessment of railway signalling system is very important. For this reason, railway signalling systems reflect the needs of methodology to assessment the safety. Then many studies of safety assessment methodology for railway signalling systems centering on the Europe, have been made continuously, and the requirements for safety acceptance are currently standardized by IEC. To develop and establish the safety assessment technology for railway signalling system in Korea, we are reviews the safety assessment activities for signalling system through the reviews of related std., case study and consulting by experts.

여객선의 공식 화재안전 평가: 비용-이득 및 의사결정 평가 (Formal Fire Safety Assessment on Passenger Ships: Application of Cost-Benefit Analysis and Decision-Making Approach)

  • This paper examines the applicability of formal safety assessment to the passenger ships. This is followed by an analysis of passenger ship characteristics and a proposed formal safety assessment methodology. Five interlocking steps are described to construct a safety model including novel risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis and decision-making approaches. A case study is carried out in order to demonstrate the proposed methodology. Further development in formal safety assessment in the context of passenger ship safety is finally discussed in detail.

독일, 영국과 한국, 일본 등 아시아 국가 간의 위험성평가 제도 비교연구 (Comparative Study on the Institutional Framework of Risk Assessment between German, UK and Korea, Japan in Asian Countries)

  • This paper is a comparative study on risk assessment policy between Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Singapore and EU countries, German, UK. Risk assessment is a tool adopted currently in many countries in order to reduce occupational risk in workplace because it help employers to identify their hazard arousing in their working conditions then to settle the issues. This paper compares institutional framework posed in EU and Asian countries. As a result of comparative study, EU countries have more concrete legal system for risk assessment than Asian countries. But Asian countries are now interested in risk assessment such as Japan, Korea and Singapore. The author also suggests successful ways to settle down the risk assessment policy in a country. These findings help to understand occupational health and safety policy on risk assessment in Asian countries.

제조업 사업장에서 위험성평가가 근로자 안전행동 수준에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Risk Assessment on Employee Safety Behavior in Manufacturing Workplaces)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to examine the effect of risk assessment on employee safety behavior in manufacturing workplaces. In addition, this study attempted to explore factors related to the occupational safety and health system in the workplace affect the risk assessment of manufacturing sites. Methods: This research is a cross-sectional study using the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency's 2018 Occupational Safety and Health data. The sample for study is 1,967 manufacturing workplaces. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, chi-square test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS (ver.25.0). Results: As a result of the multiple hierarchical regression analysis, it was found that risk assessment had an effect on employee safety behavior (t=4.435, p=<.001). Furthermore, the size of the workplace affected employee safety behavior (t=2.494, p=<.001). In addition, the presence of safety and health management organizations affected employee safety behavior (t=4.301, p=<.001). The factors of the safety and health organization (𝑥2=35.245, p=<.001), the occupational safety and health committee (𝑥2=149.440, p=<.001), and the supervisor (𝑥2=16.472, p=<.001) were identified as factors that increased the possibility of risk assessment in the manufacturing workplaces. Conclusions: In this study, it was found that risk assessment is a factor that increases the level of workers' safety behavior in manufacturing workplaces. Therefore, it is necessary to provide institutional support for activating risk assessment at manufacturing workplaces.

  • In this thesis, the safety assessment of the steel box girder bridge were studied. From the structural analysis results of the steel box girder bridge, bending moment and shear force were calculated, and these element force was applied to the safety assessment of the steel box girder bridge.

Safety Case 문서를 기반한 열차제어시스템 안전성 평가방법 분석 (Analysis of Safety Assessment of Railway Signalling by Safety Case Documents)

  • It is demanded to produce the safety evidence documents in other to approval safety characteristic of railway signaling system which stands is included, it is demanding from IEC 62425 standards. Also it is express clearly that safety assessment if signaling system has to be verification of these safety evidence documents. This Safety Case has the results of safety activity through system life-cycle, such as hazard lists, hazard identification and analysis, risk assessment and countermeasure, verification and test results. Consequently, first of all, the analysis and verification of these Safety Case documents has to be accomplished to approval and acceptance of signaling system safety. And also if the safety assessor was want, it is able to be experimental test auditory which is, arbitrary faults injection test, to above described documents verification. In this paper, the contents and architecture of Safety Case are presented as first steps of safety assessment technology establishment for railway signaling system.

적응형 뉴로-퍼지(ANFIS)를 이용한 도시철도 시스템 위험도 평가 연구 (A Study on the Risk Assessment for Urban Railway Systems Using an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS))

  • In the risk assessment of urban railway systems, a hazard log is created by identifying hazards from accident and failure data. Then, based on a risk matrix, evaluators analyze the frequency and severity of the occurrence of the hazards, conduct the risk assessment, and then establish safety measures for the risk factors prior to risk control. However, because subjective judgments based on the evaluators' experiences affect the risk assessment results, a more objective and automated risk assessment system must be established. In this study, we propose a risk assessment model in which an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), which is combined in artificial neural networks (ANN) and fuzzy inference system (FIS), is applied to the risk assessment of urban railway systems. The newly proposed model is more objective and automated, alleviating the limitations of risk assessments that use a risk matrix. In addition, the reliability of the model was verified by comparing the risk assessment results and risk control priorities between the newly proposed ANFIS-based risk assessment model and the risk assessment using a risk matrix. Results of the comparison indicate that a high level of accuracy was demonstrated in the risk assessment results of the proposed model, and uncertainty and subjectivity were mitigated in the risk control priority.
