For a library to be run more efficiently, its internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats must be determined for forecasting on the basis of the diagnosis of the internal and external environment and situations, and optimum strategies and measures responsively deducted and utilized. Therefore, I had analyzed the strategic competition of university A's library using SWOT analysis, which has recently been spotlighted as an effective strategic competition analysis method. The conclusions thus obtained are as explained below. Firstly. the strengths of university A's library are the professional qualifications of the employees. work efficiency based on systematic operative plans and division of work load, and provision of high quality service following the establishment of the digital library. Secondly, its weaknesses are the insufficiency and limits of the usable resources, the lack of progressive future operation plans and systems, and the deficiency of a positive service mind. Thirdly, the opportunities are the possibility for new developments in accordance with the digital information environment. reinforcement of the operative efficiency throughout expanding its cooperation with external organizations and other libraries, and its transformation as the local library hub by opening up to the public. Fourthly, the threats are the lack of the school authorities' acknowledgement. and the degradation of the library's status in accordance, the users' various requests for information and advanced professional service according to the rapidly changing information environment. and the restriction of the library service based on the copyright law. Fifthly, as a result of analyzing the strategic competition of university A's library, measures such as the reinforcement of digital service by acquiring digital specialists. provision of extended service through active cooperation with external institutes and libraries. development and provision of differentiated service in accordance with the reinforced copyright law were proposed to improve the library's future competitiveness.

This study is for a search for methods of development of marine leisure sports. As worldwide trend of marine leisure sports is developing rapidly and people more concern about their quality of life and leisure in Korea, the ear of marine leisure sports should be coming in Korea soon. This study is for a search for methods of development though the SWOT analysis. The results of the study are as below. First, the Strength of enlargement of the base in Korea are elation of concern of government and local governments, expanding local event of marine leisure sports with existing facilities and various programs. Second, the weakness of enlargement of the base in Korea are lack of awareness of marine leisure sports, frequent accident occurrence and lack of experts of marine leisure sports. Third, the Opportunity of enlargement of the base in Korea are more budget due to elation of concern of government and local governments and more preference of people in Korea. Fourth, the Threaten of enlargement of the base in Korea are low efficiency of high cost investment construction from government and local governments, huge fee of using facilities due to high cost investment construction and requiring treatment improvement of instructors of leisure sports facilities.

The roles of librarians have been changing with the paradigm shift of libraries. The paradigm of libraries has shifted from a traditional information management-centered way to a hybrid approach emphasizing a balance between collection and access. This study analyzed the internal and external changes of libraries to create Blue Ocean of special libraries by using the SWOT analysis. and adopted ERCR analysis for the reasonable management of libraries. The findings of this study indicate that the scope of role played by librarians belonging to special libraries shall be diversified from their traditional library activities in order to adapt themselves to changes in time. The Blue Ocean Strategy can be successfully developed only if the activities of libraries have been changed so that they are closely related to those activities for which such affiliate organizations are expected to carry out.

최근 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 학계나 실무계에서 많은 주목을 받고 있으며, 공공기관에서도 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 도입하고 있는 추세에 있다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 장 단점을 모두 가지고 있지만 지속적으로 발전하고 있으며, 기업들은 클라우드 기반의 정보시스템을 도입하기 위한 다양한 솔루션들을 활용하고 있다. 따라서 기업에서 클라우드 컴퓨팅 도입을 위해 고려해야 할 요소들은 무엇이며, 어떻게 계획을 수립할 것인지는 시급한 과제라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 기업이 클라우드 컴퓨팅 채택 전략을 수립하기 위한 프레임 워크를 제시하는 것이다. 구체적으로, SWOT-AHP는 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 실행하는 과정에서 강점-약점-기회-위협 요인을 파악하고, 전략 계획을 보다 효율적으로 수립 하는데 사용된다. 경영전략 이론에서 널리 알려져 있는 SWOT과 다기준의사결정기법 중 실무에서 가장 활발하게 사용되고 있는 AHP는 복잡하지 않고 적용이 쉽기 때문에 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법을 이용한다면 실무에서도 큰 어려움 없이 SWOT-AHP 프레임워크를 클라우드 컴퓨팅 전략수립에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

The Northeast Asia has been the fastest growing region in the world for the past few decades. And now the economic bloc maintains its status as a major powerhouse of the world economy. On the way of its economic growth, Russia and Central Asian countries have emerged as major trading partners. The Trans-Siberian Railway(TSR) has been playing a pivotal role in promoting economic cooperation between the two regions. This paper investigates economic environment of the Korean TSR service operators through the SWOT analysis, then proposes management strategies for them. For this purpose, the authors analyze characteristics and roles of the TSR service operators. In addition, a comparison of difference between service operators and shippers about their recognition of economic environment of the TSR transportation service is also carried out.

The purpose of this paper Is to present a long-term development plan for the KRILI(Korea Research Institute for Library and Information). To do so, authors analysed a various library research institutes and related organizations in U.S.A., U.K., Czech Republic, Hungary, and Japan. And using the SWOT analysis, author identified and described the current status and also surveyed recognition of library and information science faculties as to desirable roles and phase of the KRILI. Based on the results of analysis and survey, this paper suggested a long-term plan(vision and objectives, strategic issues, desirable phase and organization system, growth and development model, Internal cooperative operating systems and external research cooperation system, etc.) of the KRILI.

The easy payment service is a payment and remittance service that uses a simple authentication method. As online transactions have increased due to COVID-19, the use of an easy payment service is increasing. At the same time, electronic financial industries such as Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, and Toss are diversifying the competition structure of the easy payment market; meanwhile overseas fintech companies PayPal and Alibaba have a unique market share in their own countries, while competition is intensifying in the domestic easy payment market, as there is no unique market share. In this study, the participants in the easy payment market were classified as electronic financial companies, mobile phone manufacturers, and financial companies, and a SWOT analysis was conducted on the representative services in each industry. The analysis examined the user reviews of Google Play Store via a topic modeling analysis, and it employed positive topics as strengths and negative topics as weaknesses. In addition, topic modeling was conducted by dividing news articles into political, economic, social, and technology (PEST) articles to derive the opportunities and threats to easy payment services. Through this research, we intend to confirm the service capabilities of easy payment companies and propose a service activation strategy that allows gaining the upper hand in the market.

The object of this study identifies the weights of SWOT factors in hidden champion. And the other purpose of the study is to test the differences of weight between Korea hidden champion group and Germany theirs group. The survey research is employed for the hidden champion CEOs of two countries. This research is employed the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) for the weight of SWOT factors in hidden champion based on an empirical survey done to 61 firms which are to be fostered as Korean type hidden champion and 40 firms which are to be fostered as Germany type hidden champion. And then the t-test assesses whether the weight means of two groups are statistically different from each other. The weights of SWOT factors of hidden champion have been identified. There are the differences of weight between Korea group and Germany group. The order of Korea group's weight is following by the strength (0.3062), the opportunities (0.2344), the threat (0.1804), and the weakness (0.1157). The order of Germany group's weight is following by the strength (0.2603), the opportunities (0.2286), the threat (0.1604), and the weakness (0.1432). The technology capability of strength, the lack of knowledge on overseas market of weakness and the market uncertainty of thereat have statistically differences between two groups. However, the sub-factors of opportunities statistically have no differences.

Science and technology(S&T) are not only advancing, but also the number of stakeholders in those fields are increasing, and so the demands of S&T strategy for a particular field are increasing. In Korea, especially, this tendency is remarkable, and is evidenced by the fact that more than one hundred of S&T strategies have been established and implemented. However, academic attempts to clarify scientific methodologies for establishing S&T strategy have so far been rare. In this paper, a methodology to establish S&T strategies in a particular field is proposed and examined through a case study to determine its usefulness. First, through an analysis of the literature, previous studies on the establishment of a national S&T strategy and its related concepts are reviewed. Also, a representative framework plans, in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations, are reviewed. Meanwhile, the methodology, PEST-SWOT-AHP, is proposed and the features and applications are identified. For the case study, the strategy establishment of a fusion research and development program is performed. In order to apply the PEST-SWOT-AHP tool, an environmental analysis based on the fusion R&D roadmap is conducted. To examine the usefulness of the proposed framework, a national fusion R&D strategy applying PEST-SWOT-AHP is derived. As a result of the case study, four strategies were derived. Those are be the first mover, promotion of basic research and cultivation of manpower, boost commercialization and public acceptance and reinforcing international cooperation.
