The study subjects were 180 adults, and data were collected from April 9 to April 15, 2020. For the collected data, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used using SPSS WIN 23.0 program. As a result of the study, stress caused by the COVID-19 epidemic affected quality of life, and positive psychological capital showed a significant moderating effect. Based on this study, a study is needed to develop a program to mediate a lower quality of life due to stress caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and to verify its effectiveness.

  • This study was conducted in order to identify factors affecting opinions on marriage of unmarried women in their 30's in Korea. Analysis of data on 529 unmarried women in their 30's, which were taken from the 2012 social survey, was analyzed. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$ test, hierarchical logistic regression analysis as well as descriptive statistics by SPSS version 20.0. Results showed that age(Exp(b)=.90,p=.025), opinions on divorce(Exp(b)=3.81,p<.001) and remarriage(Exp(b)=3.09,p=.001), and value on marriage(Exp(b)=.80,p<.001) were independent predictors of opinions on marriage. Economic activity(Exp(b)=19.58,p=.003) was found to be an independent predictor of opinions on marriage for the 35-39 year old women differ from 30-34 year old women predictors. Findings of this study indicate a need for developing family and marriage value-centered education and the low-fertility policy for the 35-39year old actively working women considering factors affecting opinions on marriage.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic data for lowering cyber university students' dropout rate and fostering continuous learning environment through understanding that cyber university student's private variance, an education institute variance and social variance have the impact on a student's determining dropout. For this, we selected students in A cyber university and carried out surveys for 500 students from April first to May 31st, 2009 using convenience sampling. We excluded answers whose results are considered to be insufficient or overlapped among answers of 336 students and used 304 answers in this study. We carried out logistics regression analysis using SPSS for Winow 15.0 for data analysis. First, it proved that individual interest variance affects the dropout. Second, it turned out that educational institute's environment variance has impact on the dropout. Third, it proved that social environment factor affects the dropout. Fourth, only individual variance among individual, an educational institute and social variance has meaningful impact on the dropout in terms of statistics.

The survey was conducted 299 workers in nursing homes in Chungcheongnam and Chungcheongbuk provinces. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability, correlation, and regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 program. The results showed that structural assets(shared culture and process) were most significantly influential factors on organizational performance and the effects of age, position, operating entities were significant. But the impact of human capital was not significant. From the above results, the cooperation between organizations is needed to actively share knowledge in order to increase the shared culture. In addition, the institutions should try to develop a variety of programs and to provide an environment where the members talk freely in order to increase the process level.

The subject of this study were 125 patients with thyroid cancer who were receiving operation and outpatient medical examination in general hospital in Gwangju city. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Sheffe test, Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 program. The significant factors influencing quality of life were depression(${\beta}=-0.39$, p<.001), spiritual fatigue(${\beta}=-0.30$, p<.001) and physical fatigue(${\beta}=-0.24$, p<.001), which explained 57.2% of the quality of life. Therefore, it is necessary to develop nursing intervention program reducing fatigue and depression for thyroid cancer patients after thyroidectomy.

  • This study was conducted to identify convergence factors affecting smoking behavior among college students through the lens of a Health Belief Model. A descriptive study was carried out with 417 college students in Jeju, South Korea. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 19.0 program. The results showed that sex(t=-7.44, p<.001), pocket money(t=-2.06, p=.040), smoking in the family(t=4.43, p<.001), smoking of close friends(t=9.59, p<.001), and perceived barriers(t=0.87, p=.014), cues to action(t=6.33, p<.001) were statistically significant variables influencing smoking. These findings indicate that among smoking-related and health belief-related variables needs to be considered for preventive and therapeutic approach to stop smoking in college students.

  • This study is a descriptive research study conducted to understand the effects of hospital nurses' COVID-19 risk perception, media dependence, government trust, resilience, and Socio-psychological stress on COVID-19 prevention behavior. Data were collected from 200 nurses at university hospitals, and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 24.0 program. The average age of the subjects was 29.8 years old, the hospital experience was 6.6 years, and the prevention of COVID-19 was high with 4.3 points. COVID-19 prevention behavior showed positive correlation with COVID-19 risk perception, resilience, and media dependence and negative correlation with socio-psychological stress. Factors influencing COVID-19 prevention behavior were COVID-19 risk perception, resilience, socio-psychological stress, and media dependence. To ensure that hospital nurses' COVID-19 prevention behaviors can be continued, it is necessary to appropriately manage COVID-19 risk perception and media dependence, and to develop and apply an intervention program to strengthen resilience and reduce socio-psychological stress.
