A variety of SME ICT support programs has been very great significance and performance for Improving national competitiveness and constitution strengthening in Korea's industry. However, it could not solve ICT gap between each SMEs. In this qualitative study, we analyzed ICT support programs for SME and collected requirements from the perspective of the consumer. Then we designed ICT policy strategies and detailed support program for SME in Digital Economy.

The purpose of this study is to measure the difference of corporate social responsibility(hereinafter referred to as "CSR") effects on SME's depending on the level of business risk perception. For this aim, we divided the analysis target SEM's into two groups according to the level of business risk perception and examine whether there is any difference in CSR effects through t-test and the test of the structural model invariance across the groups. As a results, the difference of CSR activities between the two groups occurred in the communication and strategy. In terms of CSR effects, there was a gap in the financial performance.

More than 76% of occupational accidents occur in small and medium sized enterprises(SME) employing less than 50 workers, due to the lack of safety and health systems, and carelessness of workers and owners. Timely Technical Guidance(TTG) project of Korea Occupational Safety & Heath Agency(KOSHA) for SME was initiated to analyze and inform accident causes just after accidents occur. Improvement direction of TTG project is suggested through situation and performance analysis on TTG services conducted in 2012. KOSHA provided TTS services on 15,571 SMEs(suffering at least one accident in 2012), through which the working day losses from recurrence resulted in 19.0%p, 14.5%p and 31.3%p decreases in manufacturing, services and construction businesses, respectively.

In order to find the factors that influence behaviors for innovative work performance, this study tried to examine the relationship between organizational justice perceived by SME employees and IT support for differentiation on innovative behavior through knowledge exploitation and exploration. A survey was conducted on employees of SME, and the research hypothesis was verified using SPSS 22.0 and PLS 3.0 by analyzing the final 239 copies. As a result of the study, organizational justice and IT support showed a positive effect on knowledge exploitation and exploration, and knowledge exploitation and exploration had a positive effect on innovation behavior. Through this study, the theoretical foundation for organizational justice to influence knowledge exploitation and main search was established and the theoretical and practical implications for enhancing the competitiveness of the enterprise were presented through a comprehensive analysis of the two variables, organizational justice and IT support, which affect the innovation behavior of SMEs. Future research will require to study the performance part due to innovative behavior using various variables.

Purpose - This study examines the determinants of offer price and short-term and long-term performance of small and medium-sized enterprise(SME) IPO stocks listed on the KOSDAQ during the period from July 2007 to December 2016. Design/methodology/approach - The SME IPO samples are classified into three categories of regular listing, technology-based special listing, and listing by merger with special purpose acquisition company(SPAC), whose results are compared each other and compared to the result for the KOSDAQ listing of large firms. Findings - From the point of SME management which attempts to list its company on the KOSDAQ, the listing by merger with SPAC is the most unfavorable, and the underpricing phenomenon of the technology-based special listing is severe in the second place. By contrast, IPO stock investors can earn the largest abnormal return by purchasing the SPAC which succeeds the merger with unlisted firm, and the next abnormal returns are obtained in the order of the IPO stocks of technology-based special listing, regular listing of SMEs, and regular listing of large firms. However, it is interesting to observe that the net buying ratio of individual investors is relatively large for the IPO stocks of regular listing of SMEs and large firms, which exhibit the long-term under-performance. Research implications or Originality - This result implies that the exceptional listing system such as the technology-based special listing or the listing by merger with SPAC cost the SMEs which bypass the complicated procedure of the regular listing.

This research will be used as a basis for examining the actual results of e-Trade usage and export productivity. In order to facilitate the process, analysis began after a research prototype was created and research thesis established.

As environmental issues have been become critical concerns of business, many domestic small and medium enterprises(SME's) are rapidly accepting environmental management systems(EMS) that confirm ISO 14001 guidelines. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of an empirical study carried out on a sample of certified SME's with the aim of identifying obstacles encountered in adopting ISO 14001 standards and the impact of environmental systems on corporate performance after implementation of the ISO 14001 registration process. Data from this study show that the vast majority of respondents reported environmental improvements related to the implementation of an ISO 14001 EMS, especially in the area of employees' participation of the environmental management and responsibilities for reducing negative impacts, energy and resource conservation, materials reuse, and raising top management commitment. The greatest obstacles for implementing the ISO 14001 standard are lack of cooperation and a scarcity of resources such as personnel, money, and time. Results of this study serve as a reference point understanding the problems in the implementation of ISO 14001 in other small and medium firms.

The traditional mixture of experts (ME) modeled the gate network using a certain parametric function. However, if the assumed parametric function does not properly reflect the true nature, the prediction strength of ME would become weak. For example, the parametric ME often uses logistic or multinomial logistic models for the network model. However, this could be very misleading if the true nature of the data is quite different from those models. Although, in this case, we may develop more flexible parametric models by extending the model at hand, we will never be free from such misspecification problems. In order to alleviate such weakness of the parametric ME, we propose to use the semi-parametric mixture of experts (SME) in which the gate network is estimated in a non-parametrical way. Based on this, we compared the performance of the SME with those of ME and neural networks via several simulation experiments and real data examples.

The automation system oriented as one of the second year automation projects for the small and medium sized enterprises(SME) was developed for the improvement of the production rate and cut the required manpower in the field of the relay which is one of the small electric components used in various industrial fields. The objectives of this study are not only improving the international competition of the relay itself but also partially solving the technical and financial problems featured by common bottlenecks of the SME for efficient assembly automation. For the purpose of these objectives, several topics are studied as followings. - Analyzing the adjustment process and determining the specification of the automation system. - Determining the layout for the automation system to meet the determined specification. - Detail design of the automation system for relay adjustment and inspection. - Control system design - Automation system development and performance test.
