The aim of this study is to inquire into the influential relationship between perceived characteristics and psychological attitude toward smart phone in relation with the smart phone. This study conducted a questionnaire survey targeting domestic college students who are using the smart phone in an effort for an empirical test of the research model. The theoretical implications of this study laid foundation for doing research on the behavior of perceived characteristics and psychological attitude toward technology, and supplied a clue to diverse, in-depth research works on the further smart phone. The study-suggested practical implications are as follows: First, it is required that the usefulness and easy of use of the smart phone should be reinforced in order to form a positive attitude toward the smart phone. Second, the sense of dependence on the smart phone has an influence on user satisfaction.

Korean government is promoting "K-Smart City" to overseas market which is an integrated solution of construction industry with ICT(Information and Communciations Technologies) industry. Due to nature of Smart City, construction quality and the development quality of the facilities need to be established to improve the overall quality. However, guidelines and regulations to initiate quality control for Smart City are behind the actual demand. This deficiency is bringing quality control for construction and ICT to be controlled separately causing lack of synergy and resulting in overall quality degradation. This research is designed to improve the construction quality of Smart City during its establishment stage by integrating ICT system with on-site construction (Integrated control center and on-site equipment). The adoption of this research to a real Smart City case had resulted in 22% reduction of construction inspection failure (Audit), and also allowed Construction Company to pre-align quality control of all purchased items of ICT Infra that resulted in 18% reduction of nonconformity, thus contributing to an overall quality improvement. This research is expected to be used widely among all construction industry of Smart City.

The aim of this study was to determine how to improve smart working in South Korea. Smart working has recently become a key issue in e-government and flexible working studies. Smart working can improve public servants' quality of life and job performance. However, institutional, managerial, and infrastructural conditions that support smart working must be implemented for smart working arrangements to be successful. Therefore, this study analyzed the impact of institutions, management, and infrastructure on the effectiveness of public servants working in smart working conditions. The results showed that institutional, managerial, and infrastructural factors have a significant impact on the effectiveness of civil servants working in smart working conditions. Institutional and infrastructural factors also influenced organizational effectiveness. These findings have implications for how to manage smart working in the public sector in South Korea.

Recently, it is emphasized that the approach towards the development of smart cities as a driving force of sustainable economic growth of the city. Governments and municipalities are expected to expand the support for the smart city industry promotion, as the needs for smart city technology and service development, and investment for smart city industry increases. In order to promote the smart city policy as the driving force for the growth, it is necessary to understand the tendency of service development and its application. Governments and municipalities need a credible reference for their decision making on which smart city policy should be prioritized for the revitalization of the local economy by deploying certain smart city services according to the local industrial conditions. This study will analyze the trends of smart city services and suggest a reference data for decision making for the promotion of smart city industry.

In an ever-changing tourism environment, we need to think about how to successfully attract tourists and provide them with memorable experiences. Smart tourism content is considered as a useful tourism resource for converting into an attractive tourist destination by providing new values in various tourist destinations as well as the changed tourism patterns due to COVID-19. However, there are still few successful cases of smart tourism contents that have secured economic sustainability. Accordingly, this study applied the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to estimate the economic value perceived by tourists for smart tourism contents based on augmented reality to develop a smart tourism content development plan that can secure economic sustainability. As a results, it was confirmed that the lower the offered amount, the higher the awareness of the new value, the higher the likelihood of willingness to pay. Based on these research results, this study presented academic and practical implications for the development of smart tourism content that secured economic sustainability.

According to recent trends of ubiquitous learning with the advent of smart devices, this study was to suggest for the successful achievement of "Smart Campus" initiatives by experiencing an instruction with smart-pads (tablet PCs) in a university. A pilot project was conducted as a part of building a Smart Campus in S university in Gyeong-gi Province in Korea for the study. The class was held in the Summer semester in 2011 with six participants. Using research methodologies such as semi-structured interviews and stimulated recall, perceived academic performances, satisfaction, and the usability of smart-pads were analysed. Main results included high perceived academic performances, satisfaction, and the usability, however, some negative responses also detected on the variables. Based on the results, it was suggested that specific instructional strategies should be developed in terms of hardware, software and humanware.

The smart education has the goal of enhancing the capability of learners in the 21st century and especially address the improvement of the problem solving capability. This smart education based on the growth of smart devices and the effect of dramatical spread requires the ability of problem solving using the smart technology in accordance with time change. As the problem solving learning is a model used mainly for improving the capability of problem solving, this study develops the problem solving learning model focusing on the teaching-learning activity using the smart devices and also applies this model to the school field. As a result, the favorable response that using the smart devices is effective to the problem solving can be obtained. This study can contribute to achieve the goal of the smart education, and later can be effective to the successful smart education in the school field.

To prevent fall from height, interest in the development and introduction of smart harness is increasing as policies and laws such as mandatory use of smart safety equipment at construction sites. However, despite the potential of smart harness, construction safety cannot be contributed unless adopted or used by users. The objective of this research is to examine the perception between safety managers and workers on smart harness, user perception according to user's experience and differences through semi-structured in-depth interviews. As a result of the interview and comparative analysis, both safety managers and workers perceived smart harness as uncomfortable, and workers with experience in using smart harness perceived that simple functions that inform risks are useful for securing safety. This research results show different user's perception of smart harness can be confirmed how much factors affect the use of smart harness, which can provide implication into establishing measures to strengthen the use of smart harness in the future.
