단축형 리더십 대체요인 척도의 신뢰도 및 타당도 검정 (Testing Reliability and Validity of Reduced Substitutes for Leadership Scales(rd-SLS))

  • Purpose: This paper was conducted to test the reliability and validity of rd-SLS, developed by Podsakoff, et al. (1993) which measured 'substitutes for leadership'. Method: The subjects were 345 nurses in 5 general hospitals. Cronbach's and the Guttman split-half coefficient were used to test the reliability of rd-SLS. Factor analysis, and the correlations of the rv-SLS and SLS with rd-SLS were used for convergent and discriminant validity. Result: Cronbach's data was 0.76 and the Guttman split-half coefficient was 0.52. Twelve factors evolved by factor analysis, which explained $70.4\%$ of the total variance. This result was similar to previous study results. However, 'Indifference toward organizational rewards'-related items were classified two factors. It was not clear t hat the rd-SLS consisted of 13 concepts(factors). The correlations of the rv-SLS and SLS with the rd-SLS were 0.93 and 0.87 respectively. Conclusion: The rd-SLS showed a moderate degree of validity and reliability. Thus, it is recommended to use the rd-SLS in general nursing organizations for screening for leadership substitutes. In addition, it is necessary to clarify the concept of organizational rewards. In a further study, the factor structure of the rd-SLS may be considered.

The Effect of Cryoprotectants on the Properties of Pacific Sand Lance Ammodytes personatus Girard Surimi During Frozen Storage

  • We investigate the effects of cryoprotectant mixtures on the quality of sand lance surimi (SLS) during storage at $-30^{\circ}C$. We monitored freeze-induced denaturation of myofibrillar protein in SLS and examined the texture profile of SLS gel. Freeze-induced denaturation was assessed by evaluating SLS $Ca^{+2}$-ATPase activity. SLS gels prepared with sorbitol or sucrose and a mixture of both as cryoprotectant. Higher concentrations of cryoprotectants resulted in significantly higher residual SLS $Ca^{+2}$-ATPase activity at the same storage time (P < 0.05). Residual $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase activity of SLS prepared with sorbitol was higher than that of sucrose when cryoprotectant concentration and storage period were same. A blend of sorbitol and sucrose resulted in a stronger cryoprptective effect of SLS myofibrillar protein than did sorbitol or sucrose alone. The presence of a phosphate compound in SOP (3% sorbitol + 0.2% phosphate compound) resulted in higher SLS $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase activity than that of did 5% sorbitol. The hardness, brittleness, and elasticity values and a folding test of the SLS gels were significantly affected by cryoprotectant concentrations and the storage time. Preference scores and acceptance for texture in a sensory evaluation of the SLS gels increased with increasing sorbitol or sucrose concentration.

고지방식이 비만 마우스에 대한 야채 조성물의 항비만 효과 (Anti-obesity Effect of Vegetable Formula on Obese Mice in High Fat Diet)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the cholesterol and Triglyceride (TG) lowering and anti-obesity effects of water extract of vegetable formula (onion 25%, carrot 20%, Cabbage 20%, Sweet Pumpkins 20%, Chinese plum 5%, turmeric 5%, morus leaves 5%, SLS) in mice fed high fat-diet. ICR mice were divided into 3 groups; a normal diet group (ND), a high-fat diet group (HFD), a high-fat diet and SLS with 300 mg/kg treated group (HFD+SLS). Body fat gain was increased by high-fat diet and HFD+SLS group showed a definite weight loss. The total cholesterol level in the HFD+SLS group was 328.4 mg/dl which was 27.4% lower than that in the HFD group and the cholesterol-lowering effect of SLS was confirmed. The HFD + SLS group showed 118.1 mg/dl and the triglyceride level in the serum was decreased by 88.7% compared to the HFD group and SLS significantly decreased blood triglyceride levels. RT-PCR showed that the expression of PPAR-${\gamma}$ and the target gene SCD-1 was inhibited in a dose-dependent manner in the SLS-treated group. These results suggest that the SLS water extract may have a cholesterol and triglyceride-lowering effect and inhibit the expression of PPAR-${\gamma}$ and SCD-1 to have an anti-obesity effect.

인천지역 일부 남녀 중학생의 급식비지원에 따른 급식만족도, 식습관 및 영양 섭취상태 비교 (Comparison of Meal Satisfaction, Dietary Habits, and Nutrient Intakes according to School Lunch Support among Middle School Boys and Girls in Incheon)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data for health promotion and improvement of the dietary life in students who receive school lunch support (SLS) by comparative analysis of food service satisfaction, dietary habits, and nutrition intakes according to SLS. The subjects of this study consisted of 258 boys and 233 girls at a middle school in Incheon. The students' average age was 14.9 years, average height was 161.3 cm, and average weight was 52.0 kg. The breakfast eating frequency of the No-SLS (NSLS) group was significantly greater than that of the SLS group (P<0.05). The time spent for eating breakfast in the SLS group was significantly shorter than that of the NSLS group for boys. There was no significant difference in dietary attitudes according to SLS. For satisfaction of the quantity and diversity of the school lunch menu in girls, the SLS group had higher satisfaction than the NSLS group. The daily energy intake of the SLS group was significantly lower than that of the NSLS group in both boys and girls. The majority of daily nutrients intakes in the SLS group were also significantly lower than those in the NSLS group. In summary, the female students in the SLS group were more satisfied with school lunch service than general students. However, SLS students less frequently ate breakfast and showed lower energy and nutrient intakes. Therefore, in order to improve the nutritional status and dietary life of students who receive school lunch support, consistent nutrition management and support in schools are required.

  • 본 논문에서는 SLA 기반 SLS 매핑 방안을 제안한다. 서비스 품질에 대한 보장를 위해 제시되는 SLA의 구축 시에 SLS는 고려되어야할 사항이며, SLS를 통하여 네트워크 서비스 제공에 대한 품질 파라미터가 결정되는 것이다.

  • The new technologies in mobile display developed in SEC are briefly reviewed. For a differentiation, SEC's LTPS line is based on SLS (Sequential Lateral Solidification) technology. In this paper, the characteristics of SEC's SLS in recent and future mobile displays were discussed. The microstructure produced by SLS crystallization is dependent on SLS process conditions such as mask design, laser energy density, and pulse duration time. The microstructure and TFT (Thin Film Transistor) performance are closely related. For an optimization of TFT performance, SLS process condition should be adjusted. Other fabrication processes except crystallization such as blocking layer, gate insulator deposition and cleaning also affect TFT performance. Optimized process condition and tailoring mask design can make it possible to produce high quality AMOLED devices. The TFT non-uniformity caused by laser energy density fluctuation could be successfully diminished by mixing technology.

세치제의 Sodium Lauryl Sulfate함유 정도에 따른 구강환경변화 (Variations of Oral Cavity Environment according to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Concentration of Toothpaste)

  • 본 논문은 SLS의 함유정도를 다르게 한 A(0%), B(1.1%), C(2.2%)의 세가지 실험세치제를 제작하여 구강 내 변화를 50명씩 세 그룹(A, B, C)으로 나누어 실험하였다 본 연구결과 SLS함량에 따른 세치제의 4주간 사용 후 3집단의 치면세균막 검사( PHP )에서 집단간차이가 나타났고 SLS함량이 높을수록 PHP의 지수가 낮아졌다. 또한 간이구강위생지수(OHI-S)에서는 A, B, C 세집단 모두에서 OHI-S 값이 줄었다. 또한 PHP와 OHI-S는 높은 상관성을 보였다. SLS함량에 따른 세치제의 4주간사용 후 3집단의 타액분비량 측정 시 SLS함량이 높아질수록 타액량이 감소하였고, 타액의 점조도 및 pH에는 변화가 없었다. SLS가 구강건조를 유발함을 뒷받침하는 결과로 SLS와 타액의 분비량은 음의 상관관계를 보였다.

SLS 공정을 이용한 p-type poly-Si TFT 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fabrication of p-type poly-Si Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Using Sequential Lateral Solidification(SLS))

  • This paper presents the fabrication of polycrystalline thin film transistor(TFT) using sequential lateral solidification(SLS) of amorphous silicon. The fabricated SLS TFT showed high Performance suitable for active matrix liquid crystal display(AMLCD). The SLS process involves (1) a complete melting of selected area via irradiation through a patterned mask, and (2) a precisely controlled pulse translation of the sample with respect to the mask over a distance shorter than the super lateral growth(SLG) distance so that lateral growth extended over a number of iterative steps. The SLS experiment was performed with 550$\AA$ a-Si using 308nm XeCl laser having $2\mu\textrm{m}$ width. Irradiated laser energy density is 310mJ/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and pulse duration time was 25ns. The translation distance was 0.6$\mu$m/pulse, 0.8$\mu$m/pulse respectively. As a result, a directly solidified grain was obtained. Thin film transistors (TFTs) were fabricated on the poly-Si film made by SLS process. The characteristics of fabricated SLS p -type poly-Si TFT device with 2$\mu\textrm{m}$ channel width and 2$\mu\textrm{m}$ channel length showed the mobility of 115.5$\textrm{cm}^2$/V.s, the threshold voltage of -1.78V, subthreshold slope of 0.29V/dec, $I_{off}$ current of 7$\times$10$^{-l4}$A at $V_{DS}$ =-0.1V and $I_{on}$ / $I_{off}$ ratio of 2.4$\times$10$^{7}$ at $V_{DS}$ =-0.1V. As a result, SLS TFT showed superior characteristics to conventional poly-Si TFTs with identical geometry.y.y.y.

  • In this paper, we investigated the SLS process to control grain boundary(GB) location in TFT channel region, and it has been found to be applicable for locating the GB at the same location in the channel region of each TFT. We fabricated TFT by applying a new alignment SLS process and compared the TFT characteristics with a normal SLS method and the grain boundary location controlled SLS method. Also, we have analysed degradation phenomena under hot carrier stress conditions for n-type LDD MOSFETs.

구강세치제에 함유된 SLS(Sodium lauryl Sulfate)가 HaCaT 세포와 NIH-3T3 세포에 미치는 독성 효과 (The effect of the cytotoxicity of sodium lauryl sulfate containing toothpaste on HaCaT and NIH-3T3 cells)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the toxic effects of sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS) in human keratinocyte HaCaT cells and mouse fibroblast NIH-3T3 cells. Methods: The effect of sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS) cell viability and proliferation were determined by WST-1 assay and changes shape of nucleus were evaluated by Hoechst staining under fluorescence microscopy. Additionally, observation of cell morphological changes under light microscopy. Results: SLS induced cytotoxicity and a marked apoptosis in both HaCaT and NIH-3T3 cell lines. With the result of the WST-1 assay, SLS induced the cytotoxicity of 0.005% and 0.0075%, 0.01% SLS for 24 h after HaCaT and NIH-3T3 cells in time and dose-dependent manner(p<0.005). SLS inhibited cell growth and caused apoptosis as evidenced by nuclear fragmentation and condensation. Thus, determination of the morphological changes to define apoptosis was visualized using inverted phase contrast microscopy. Conclusions: SLS had toxicity of the human keratinocyte cells and mouse fibroblast cells and this study will provide the basic data for the development of proper SLS concentration in dentifrice.
