On the dynamic behavior of a simple beam subjected to an uniformly distributed tangential follower force, the influences of the velocities and magnitudes of a moving mass have been studied by numerical method. The instant amplitude of a simple beam is calculated and analyzed for each position of the moving mass represented by the time functions. The uniformly distributed tangential follower force is considered in its critical value of a simple beam, and four values of velocity is also chosen. Their coupling effects on the deflections of a simple beam are inspected too. When a moving mass moves after middle zone of a simple beam at the low velocities, its deflection is increased by the coupling of an uniformly distributed tangential follower force and moving mass.

The purpose of this study was to show occlusion on the simple hinge articulator optionally mounted. Modelling of upper-lower jaw and simple hinge articulator were developed. This modelling of upper-lower jaw inserting wax bite was mounted imaginary on the modelling of simple hinge articulator by use of the computer simulation. From changes of THA(transverse horizontal axis)-incisor distance, Balkwill angle and THA deviation, eight types were mounted respectively. After removal of wax bite, upper-lower jaw position changing were compared with centric jaw relation. The results were as follows: 1. The change of THA-incisor distance had influence on mostly a vertical shift of upper jaw. 2. The change of Balkwill angle had influence on mostly a horizontal shift of upper jaw. 3. Inferior type in the THA deviations was the least shift of upper jaw. The above results suggest that the simple hinge articulator optionally mounted effect a shift of upper jaw.

M. Junger, G. Reinelt, and W. R. Pulleyblank asked the following questions ([2]). (1) Is it true that every simple planar 2-edge connected bipartite graph has a 3-partition in which each component consists of the edge set of a simple path? (2) Does every simple planar 2-edge connected graph have a 3-partition in which every component consists of the edge set of simple paths and triangles? The purpose of this paper is to provide a positive answer to the second question for simple outerplanar 2-vertex connected graphs and a positive answer to the first question for simple planar 2-edge connected bipartite graphs one set of whose bipartition has at most 4 vertices.

본 논문에서는 simple node 토폴로지의 망 정보를 효율적으로 요약함으로써 망에서의 호 성공률, 액세스 타임을 향상시켜 망의 전체적인 QoS를 향상시키기 위한 토폴로지 요약 기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법에서는 대역폭과 지연 파라미터를 중심으로 라인 세그먼트를 이용하여 경계노드 사이의 다중 경로 정보를 요약함으로써 토폴로지 요약 정보를 줄이고 다중링크 요약에 유연성을 부여하여 망의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 제안된 기법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 기존의 simple node 토폴로지 요약 기법과 호 성공률, 접근시간에 대하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교 분석하였다.

This paper is concerned with minimization process of the binary logic function. This paper describes an algorithm called the SIMPLE TABLE METHOD that well suited to minimization a switching function of any number of variables. For the Simple Table construction, a theorem based upon the numerical properties of the logic function is derived from the relationships governing minterms of the given function. Finally the minimal sum of products can be obtained in terms of the Direct Method or the Indirect Method from the table and table characteristics derived from the Simple Table. The properties and table characteristics used in this paper are described. All the minterms of a switching function are manipulated only by decimal numbers, not binary numbers. Some examples are used as a vehicle to guide the readers who are familiar with the Karnaugh map and Quine-McCluskey tabular method to this New method. These examples not only treat how to handle Don't Care miterms but also show the multiple output functions.

Simple bone cyst is a pseudocyst that typically occurs in patients during their second and third decades of life. This benign entity is an empty or fluid-filled cavity that lacks a true epithelial lining. Simple bone cysts are often asymptomatic and are commonly found in mandibular body, predominantly in the posterior region. The treatment of simple bone cysts can be influenced by factors such as the patient's age, the size of the lesion, and the presence or absence of symptoms. In the case of a simple bone cyst in the mandible that is small and symptomless, a watchful waiting approach may be appropriate. However, if the cyst is large and symptomatic, surgical treatment is recommended. This report presents a radiological examination of a simple bone cyst that developed around the root of the mandibular first molar in a 36-year-old female patient. The cyst recurred in adjacent areas despite surgical treatment.

Let (R, m) be a 2-dimensional regular local ring with algebraically closed residue field R/m. Let K be the quotient field of R and v be a prime divisor of R, i.e., a valuation of K which is birationally dominating R and residually transcendental over R. Zariski showed that there are finitely many simple v-ideals $m=P_0\;{\supset}\;P_1\;{\supset}\;{\cdotS}\;{\supset}\;P_t=P$ and all the other v-ideals are uniquely factored into a product of those simple ones. It then was also shown by Lipman that the predecessor of the smallest simple v-ideal P is either simple (P is free) or the product of two simple v-ideals (P is satellite), that the sequence of v-ideals between the maximal ideal and the smallest simple v-ideal P is saturated, and that the v-value of the maximal ideal is the m-adic order of P. Let m = (x, y) and denote the v-value difference |v(x) - v(y)| by $n_v$. In this paper, if the m-adic order of P is 2, we show that $O(P_i)\;=\;1\;for\;1\;{\leq}\;i\; {\leq}\;{\lceil}\;{\frac{b+1}{2}}{\rceil}\;and\;O(P_i)\;=2\;for\;{\lceil}\;\frac{b+3}{2}\rceil\;{\leq}\;i\;\leq\;t,\;where\;b=n_v$. We also show that $n_w\;=\;n_v$ when w is the prime divisor associated to a simple v-ideal $Q\;{\supset}\;P$ of order 2 and that w(R) = v(R) as well.
