  • An intrinsic small signal equivalent circuit model of Cylindrical/Surrounded gate MOSFET is proposed. Admittance parameters of the device are extracted from circuit analysis and intrinsic circuit elements are presented in terms of real and imaginary parts of the admittance parameters. S parameters are then evaluated and justified with the simulated data extracted from 3D device simulation.

  • A magnetic phase is partly produced in a steam generator tube due to stress and heat, because steam generator tubes are exposed to high temperature, high pressure and radioactivity conditions. This adversely affects the safety of steam generator tubes. However, it is difficult to detect it using conventional eddy current methods. Therefore, a new type of probe is needed to separate the signals from the defects and magnetic phases. In this study, a new U-type yoke, which contained two types of coils, a magnetizing coil and detecting coil, was designed. In addition, the signal induced by the magnetic phase and defect in an Inconel 600 plate were simulated.

  • The prominent advantages of Dual Material Surrounding Gate (DMSG) MOSFETs are higher speed, higher current drive, lower power consumption, enhanced short channel immunity and increased packing density, thus promising new opportunities for scaling and advanced design. In this Paper, we present Transconductance-to-drain current ratio and electric field distribution model for dual material surrounding gate (DMSGTs) MOSFETs. Transconductance-to-drain current ratio is a better criterion to access the performance of a device than the transconductance. This proposed model offers the basic designing guidance for dual material surrounding gate MOSFETs.

  • Background: Occupational injuries cause major health problems, which the developed, developing, and underdeveloped nations worldwide are facing today. The present study aimed to assess dental caries, periodontal health of stone mine workers, and the relationship between wasting diseases and the years of working experience. Methods: The study population comprised 510 men, selected based on the stratified cluster sampling procedure. Clinical oral examinations were carried out, and periodontal disease, dental caries, and wasting diseases were recorded. Results: Workers were in the age group of 17-56 years; the prevalence of dental caries in the workers was found to be 74%, with a mean decayed, missing, filled teeth index of 2.89. A periodontal pocket of more than 6 mm was observed in 6% of the workers. Conclusion: The oral health of mine workers is in a poor state; steps should be taken so as to provide basic medical and dental care facilities.

  • In this paper, the (Sr$_{1-x}$ Ca$_{x}$)TiO$_3$(SCT) thin films were deposited at various substrate temperature using RF magnetron sputtering method on optimized Pt-coated electrodes (Pt/TiN/SiO$_2$/Si). An influence of substrate temperature and annealing temperature on the structural and dielectric properties are investigated. The substrate temperature changed from 100[$^{\circ}C$] to 500[$^{\circ}C$] and crystalline SCT thin films were deposited abode 400[$^{\circ}C$]. All thin films had (111) preferred orientation, the (100) oriented films were obtained at the substrate temperature above 400[$^{\circ}C$]. The dielectric constant changes almost linearly in the temperature region of -80~+90[$^{\circ}C$], the temperature characteristics of the dielectric loss exhibited a stable value within 0.1, then not affected by substitutional contents. The capacitance characteristics appears a stable value within $\pm$5[%].

  • This article deals with the vibrational response of a nanobeam made of bi-directional FG materials which is modeled via nonlocal strain gradient theory along with HSDT. Also, the nanobeam is placed on a Winkler-Pasternak foundation and is under axial mechanical loading. By using the variational energy method, the formulation and end conditions are obtained. Then, DSC-IM, as the numerical solution procedure is employed to extract the results. The material properties of the nanobeam are FG which varies in two directions with in exponential manner. The results from DDN are verified by using other papers. Lastly, a thorough parametric investigation is presented to investigated the effect of different parameters.

  • The main intent of this paper is to prove an existence and uniqueness fixed point result under Geraghty contractions in b-metric-like spaces, which remains an extended version of corresponding results in b-metric spaces and metriclike spaces. Using two types of Geraghty contractions, an approach is adopted to verify some fixed point results in b-metric-like spaces. Our main result is an extension of an earlier result given by Geraghty in b-metric-like-space. An example is also provided to demonstrate the validity of our main result. Moreover, as an application of our main result, the existence of solution of a Fredholm integral equation is established which may further be utilized to study the seismic response of dams during earthquakes.

  • Cytokinins are essential plant hormones that play crucial roles in various aspects of plant growth and development. To better understand the molecular mechanisms of cytokinin action, we identified cytokinin related proteins by a proteomic approach. Proteins extracted from control and trans-zeatin treated Arabidopsis seedlings were separated and analyzed by two dimensional gel analysis. Differentially expressed protein spots were identified with peptide mass fingerprinting based on matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry and database searching, We obtained ten up-regulated and one down-regulated proteins upon t-zeatin treatment. The expression of the following proteins was induced; pollen allergen like protein, L-ascorbate peroxidase, tetrapyrrole methylase family protein, SGT1 protein homolog, disease resistance related protein, maternal embryogenesis control protein, paxneb related protein, gluthathione S-transferase and IAA amino acid hydrolase homolog.

  • This article presents an analysis into the nonlinear forced vibration of a micro cylindrical shell reinforced by carbon nanotubes (CNTs) with considering agglomeration effects. The structure is subjected to magnetic field and transverse harmonic mechanical load. Mindlin theory is employed to model the structure and the strain gradient theory (SGT) is also used to capture the size effect. Mori-Tanaka approach is used to estimate the equivalent material properties of the nanocomposite cylindrical shell and consider the CNTs agglomeration effect. The motion equations are derived using Hamilton's principle and the differential quadrature method (DQM) is employed to solve them for obtaining nonlinear frequency response of the cylindrical shells. The effect of different parameters including magnetic field, CNTs volume percent and agglomeration effect, boundary conditions, size effect and length to thickness ratio on the nonlinear forced vibrational characteristic of the of the system is studied. Numerical results indicate that by enhancing the CNTs volume percent, the amplitude of system decreases while considering the CNTs agglomeration effect has an inverse effect.
