A Study on the Two Transport Streams Synchronization for Left and Right Videos (좌우영상 전송스트림의 동기화 방법에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 듀얼 스트림 기반의 지상파 양안식 3DTV 서비스를 위하여, 상용제품의 MPEG-2 인코더와 AVC/H.264 인코더를 이용하여 부호화할 경우, 두 개의 인코더에서 출력되는 MPEG-2 전송스트림을 입력받아 좌우 영상의 스트림을 프레임단위로 동기화하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 동기화 방법은 좌우 HD-SDI 신호의 수직 보조 데이터 공간(VANC-Vertical ANCillary data space)에 동기정보를 삽입하고, 이 동기정보를 바탕으로 2 개의 DTV 인코더에서 출력되는 좌우영상의 전송스트림을 동기화할 수 있도록 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서 동기정보는 기존의 상용 DTV 인코더에서 프레임 단위로 부호화를 지원하는 폐쇄자막(Closed caption) 구문에 따라 VANC 에 삽입하는 방법을 제안한다.

An Analysis on Education Needs for Information Literacy Programs of Professional Secretaries (전문비서 정보활용 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구 분석 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to raise the importance of information literacy programs for professional secretaries and to present guidelines for organizing them. While the level of projects in secretaries' information service is defined as an influencing factor to the necessity of information literacy programs, the level of scholarships or secretarial science as a major is not. An analysis on education needs of secretaries recommended that curriculum should be composed of 15 topics such as: meta search engines, special search engines, boolean operators, digital libraries, usenet, information centers, internet reference sources, SDI, topic search request, document delivery service, e-journals, commercial databases, fulltext service, search strategy and general search engines.

A Study on the Information Protection Intention of Digital Healthcare Service Providers (디지털 헬스케어 서비스 제공자의 정보보호의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the IPI (Information Protection Intention) of DHS (Digital Healthcare Service) providers by introducing PMT (Protection Motivation Theory). This study examines the effects of protection motivation, such as threat appraisal and coping appraisal, on IPI, such as ICI(Induction Control Intention) and SDI(Self Defense Intention). The research model, based on the PMT, adopted severity, vulnerability, reaction efficacy and self-efficacy as independent variables. The research model was validated through quantitative research, a survey of 222 DHS providers in South Korea, using structural equation modeling. The results show that (1) a clear awareness of the consequences of security threats increases the understanding of DHS providers on the severity of closure of healthcare information, and thus may decreases abuse of DHS by providers; (2) user confidence and satisfaction on the security system may make them be confident that they can handle the closure of healthcare information by themselves; and (3) although DHS providers are realizing the consequences of closure of healthcare information, they think that they are unlikely to encounter such situations. As a result of this study, venture companies that provide DHS need to provide contents that can continuously increase providers' security level in order to increase providers' information protection intention. It suggests that IPI is important through trust of healthcare service providers.

A Study on Development of Hybrid Personalization Recommendation System Based on Learing Algorithm (학습알고리즘 기반의 하이브리드 개인화 추천시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The popularization of the internet has produced an explosion in amount of the information. The importance of web personalization is being more and more increased. The personalization is realized by learning user's interest. User's interest is changing continuously and rapidly. We use user's profile to represent user's interest. User's profile is updated to reflect the change of user's interest. In this paper we present an adaptive learning algorithm that can be used to reflect user's interest that is changing with time. We propose the User's profile model. With this profile user's interest is learned based on user's feedback. This approach has applied to develop hybrid recommendation system.

  • The user satisfaction and needs of an academic library were caught through a questionnaire survey in this study. The aim of this study is to draw up the CRM based plan for meeting user needs on the study. The users' demographic information, library resources & their use, homepage, services, and facilities/environment of the library were categorized in the questionnaire and analyzed for this study. The major conclusions of this study are: (1) The library resources use was the highest, and its facilities/environment was the lowest in the user satisfaction study. It also revealed that there are much necessities for the quick acquisition and dissemination of the requested material to the library users, and for the inter-library loan (ILL) services among campuses for the subscription books in the library resources use study, too; (2) There are a lot of necessities for the improvement of OPAC retrieval and the subscription books system, and menu rearrangement in the library homepage; (3) There are a lot of necessities for the plans of more frequent library event, more detailed event guidance, and more reinforcement of public relations such as SMS, push services of SDI etc. in the library user services; and (4) There are a lot of necessities for the improved policies to the complaints of library users such as the lack of common study place and lockers, air conditioning and heating problem, complaints about facilities management of restroom (lack of toilet paper), library accessibility on campus, unauthorized user management etc. in the facilities/environment of the library.

UCI Embedder: A Real-time Broadcast-Content-Identifier Watermarking System for Broadcast Content Distribution Services (방송콘텐츠 유통서비스를 위한 실시간 콘텐츠식별자 은닉삽입 시스템)

  • We introduce the standard content identifier Universal Content Identifier (UCI) and a watermarking system that embeds UCI for the broadcast content distribution services. Our proposed UCI embedder is designed in consideration of integrating with the previously established broadcast system and protecting the illegal distribution of broadcast contents. Our goal is that when broadcast content is transmitted, 28 byte UCI is embedded imperceptibly in the content itself in real-time and the embedded UCI is successfully extracted not only in the typical format used in the broadcast content distribution service but also in the illegally distributed broadcast contents. Usually the illegally distributed contents are modified from the original by changing resolutions, frame rates, or adjusting colors. In this paper, we present a watermarking scheme that embeds 28 byte UCI in broadcast content in real-time while keeping the visual quality high and the embedded watermark robust enough to survive through the various modification. The experimental results show that the embedded UCI remains in the various modified versions of content and that the visual degradation by embedding is not noticeable.

A study on trends and predictions through analysis of linkage analysis based on big data between autonomous driving and spatial information (자율주행과 공간정보의 빅데이터 기반 연계성 분석을 통한 동향 및 예측에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, big data analysis method was used to find out global trends in autonomous driving and to derive activate spatial information services. The applied big data was used in conjunction with news articles and patent document in order to analysis trend in news article and patents document data in spatial information. In this paper, big data was created and key words were extracted by using LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) based on the topic model in major news on autonomous driving. In addition, Analysis of spatial information and connectivity, global technology trend analysis, and trend analysis and prediction in the spatial information field were conducted by using WordNet applied based on key words of patent information. This paper was proposed a big data analysis method for predicting a trend and future through the analysis of the connection between the autonomous driving field and spatial information. In future, as a global trend of spatial information in autonomous driving, platform alliances, business partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture establishment, standardization and technology development were derived through big data analysis.

Analyzing Topic Trends and the Relationship between Changes in Public Opinion and Stock Price based on Sentiment of Discourse in Different Industry Fields using Comments of Naver News (네이버 뉴스 댓글을 이용한 산업 분야별 담론의 감성에 기반한 주제 트렌드 및 여론의 변화와 주가 흐름의 연관성 분석)

  • In this study, we analyzed comments on news articles of representative companies of the three industries (i.e., semiconductor, secondary battery, and bio industries) that had been listed as national strategic technology projects of South Korea to identify public opinions towards them. In addition, we analyzed the relationship between changes in public opinion and stock price. 'Samsung Electronics' and 'SK Hynix' in the semiconductor industry, 'Samsung SDI' and 'LG Chem' in the secondary battery industry, and 'Samsung Biologics' and 'Celltrion' in the bio-industry were selected as the representative companies and 47,452 comments of news articles about the companies that had been published from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020, were collected from Naver News. The comments were grouped into positive, neutral, and negative emotions, and the dynamic topics of comments over time in each group were analyzed to identify the trends of public opinion in each industry. As a result, in the case of the semiconductor industry, investment, COVID-19 related issues, trust in large companies such as Samsung Electronics, and mention of the damage caused by changes in government policy were the topics. In the case of secondary battery industries, references to investment, battery, and corporate issues were the topics. In the case of bio-industries, references to investment, COVID-19 related issues, and corporate issues were the topics. Next, to understand whether the sentiment of the comments is related to the actual stock price, for each company, the changes in the stock price and the sentiment values of the comments were compared and analyzed using visual analytics. As a result, we found a clear relationship between the changes in the sentiment value of public opinion and the stock price through the similar patterns shown in the change graphs. This study analyzed comments on news articles that are highly related to stock price, identified changes in public opinion trends in the COVID-19 era, and provided objective feedback to government agencies' policymaking.
