  • General metal welding occurs distortion. Also, reducing distortion is required much cost. Therefore, the purpose of this study is optimization of welding conditions to reduce distortion in welding of monolithic rack housing for modular steering gear. Firstly, heat source for welding was chosen arc and laser. Secondly, it investigated optimizing welding conditions in bead welding by arc and laser heat source, and welding conditions in fillet welding was optimized with welding shapes. Finally, it was measured temperature distribution of welds by infrared camera and angle distortion in fillet welding. As a result, laser welding was superior to arc welding on distortion.

캠축에서의 피로파괴해석 (Analysis on Fatigue Fracture at Cam Shaft)

  • This study investigates the fatigue life and the damage possibility of cam shaft by the fatigue tool of Ansys. Among nonconstant fatigue loads, the case of 'SAE Bracket History' which is severest at the variation of load tends to be most unstable. The maximum relative damage in case of 'SAE Bracket History' is occurred near the average stress '0' and this case can be shown to have the possibility to take more damage than other cases. The case of 'Sample History' which becomes a little slow at the variation of load tends to be most stable. But there is most damaged possibility of 5% as 7 times at the range of mean stress from 0Pa to -104MPa and amplitude stress from 0MPa to 104MPa than the case of 'SAE Bracket History' or 'SAE Transmission'.

A CTR Prediction Approach for Text Advertising Based on the SAE-LR Deep Neural Network

  • For the autoencoder (AE) implemented as a construction component, this paper uses the method of greedy layer-by-layer pre-training without supervision to construct the stacked autoencoder (SAE) to extract the abstract features of the original input data, which is regarded as the input of the logistic regression (LR) model, after which the click-through rate (CTR) of the user to the advertisement under the contextual environment can be obtained. These experiments show that, compared with the usual logistic regression model and support vector regression model used in the field of predicting the advertising CTR in the industry, the SAE-LR model has a relatively large promotion in the AUC value. Based on the improvement of accuracy of advertising CTR prediction, the enterprises can accurately understand and have cognition for the needs of their customers, which promotes the multi-path development with high efficiency and low cost under the condition of internet finance.

  • LTE/SAE는 공격자의 키 획득 및 공격에 노출된 네트워크를 방지하기 위해 핸드오버 키 관리기법을 정의하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 핸드오버 키 관리 기법이 비동기화 공격에 의해 전방향안전성이 보장되지 못 함을 보인다. 비동기화 공격을 방지하기 위해, 주기적인 루트키 갱신이 요구된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 시그널링 부하와, 공격에 노출되는 패킷의 양을 최소화 하는 최적 루트키 갱신 주기를 도출하고자 한다.

  • The thermal analysis of transportation and storage cask for SNF was conducted during short term loading operations for forced gas drying condition. The fuel cladding temperature in 6 regions of SNF in the cask during the short term loading operations for forced gas drying condition is shown in the Fig. 3. The thermal analysis results of calculated maximum cladding temperature in each process demonstrate that operating scenario of TFD in detailed design maintain well below the temperature limits of $400^{\circ}C$.

Selective embolization of the internal iliac arteries for the treatment of intractable hemorrhage in children with malignancies

  • Purpose: Acute internal hemorrhage is an occasionally life-threatening complication in pediatric cancer patients. Many therapeutic approaches have been used to control bleeding with various degrees of success. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of selective internal iliac artery embolization for controlling acute intractable bleeding in children with malignancies. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated the cases of 6 children with various malignancies (acute lymphoblastic leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia, T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia, Langerhans cell histiocytosis, and rhabdomyosarcoma), who had undergone selective arterial embolization (SAE) of the internal iliac artery at the Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital between January 2004 and December 2009. SAE was performed by an interventional radiologist using Gelfoam$^{(R)}$ and/or Tornado$^{(R)}$ coils. Results: The patients were 5 boys and 1 girl with median age of 6.9 years (range, 0.7-14.8 years) at the time of SAE. SAE was performed once in 4 patients and twice in 2, and the procedure was unilateral in 2 and bilateral in 4. The causes of hemorrhage were as follows: hemorrhagic cystitis (HC) in 3 patients, procedure-related internal iliac artery injuries in 2 patients, and tumor rupture in 1 patient. Initial attempt at conservative management was unsuccessful. Of the 6 patients, 5 (83.3%) showed improvement after SAE without complications. Conclusion: SAE may be a safe and effective procedure for controlling acute intractable hemorrhage in pediatric malignancy patients. This procedure may obviate the need for surgery, which carries an attendant risk of morbidity and mortality in cancer patients with critical conditions.

접착제로 접합된 DCB 시험편의 피로 해석에 관한 연구 (Study on Fatigue Analysis of DCB Specimen Bonded)

  • 본 논문에서는 접착제로 접합된 DCB(이중외팔보) 시험편의 피로 해석을 수행하였다. 두께가 25 mm 및 40 mm인 두 모델들의 피로수명과 피로손상의 해석 결과를 비교해보면, 두께 25 mm인 모델이 두께 40 mm인 모델에 비하여 수명과 손상이 불리한 것으로 나타났으며 불규칙 피로하중에서는 'SAE transmission'에서 가장 불리한 값을 나타냈다. Rainflow matrices에서는 'SAE bracket history'에서 가장 취약한 것으로 나타났다. Damage matrices에서는 상대적으로 두께 25 mm인 모델이 불리한 모습을 보였지만, 상대적인 손상 가능성에서는 두께 40 mm인 모델이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 'SAE transmission'에서 가장 안정한 경향을 보이고 있고 상대적인 손상으로서 약 1.1 에서 1.8% 정도로 가장 작은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 해석 결과를 접착제로 접합된 실제 복합재 구조물에 적용시켜 파괴거동을 분석하고 그 기계적인 특성을 파악할 수 있다.

세올발에 의한 김 양식시험 (An Experiment on the Culture of Laver, Porphgra tenera, on the 'Sae-ol-bal' (triple-knotted blind) Laver Bed)

  • 1965년 9월 26일부터 1966년 2월 12일 까지의 사이에 여천군 화정면 개도 양식장에서 세올발의 양식 실험을 한 결과를 다음과 같은 발의 파손율, 김의 착생밀도와 성장관계 및 채취양 등에 관한 자료를 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 세올발은 보통지네발에 비해서 파손율이 적으며 9월 26일부터 익년2월 1.2일 사이에 지네발의 발쪽은 $35.3\%$가 파손되었고 세올발은 $9.8\%$가 파손되었다(Table 5). 2. 김의 착생밀도, 성장도 및 채취양은 선단부가 가장 좋았고 기단부, 중단부의 순으로 나빠 져간다. (Table 6, Figs.7-8) 3. 풍파가 조용한 곳에서는 채취양, 부착밀도, 분장조성으로 봐서 지네발이 더 좋겠으나 풍파가 비교적 많아서 발의 파손율이 많은 곳에서는 세올발이 우세하다고 하겠다.

Hop2 and Sae3 Are Required for Dmc1-Mediated Double-Strand Break Repair via Homolog Bias during Meiosis

  • During meiosis, exchange of DNA segments occurs between paired homologous chromosomes in order to produce recombinant chromosomes, helping to increase genetic diversity within a species. This genetic exchange process is tightly controlled by the eukaryotic RecA homologs Rad51 and Dmc1, which are involved in strand exchange of meiotic recombination, with Rad51 participating specifically in mitotic recombination. Meiotic recombination requires an interaction between homologous chromosomes to repair programmed double-strand breaks (DSBs). In this study, we investigated the budding yeast meiosis-specific proteins Hop2 and Sae3, which function in the Dmc1-dependent pathway. This pathway mediates the homology searching and strand invasion processes. Mek1 kinase participates in switching meiotic recombination from sister bias to homolog bias after DSB formation. In the absence of Hop2 and Sae3, DSBs were produced normally, but showed defects in the DSB-to-single-end invasion transition mediated by Dmc1 and auxiliary factors, and mutant strains failed to complete proper chromosome segregation. However, in the absence of Mek1 kinase activity, Rad51-dependent recombination progressed via sister bias in the $hop2{\Delta}$ or $sae3{\Delta}$ mutants, even in the presence of Dmc1. Thus, Hop2 and Sae3 actively modulate Dmc1-dependent recombination, effectively progressing homolog bias, a process requiring Mek1 kinase activation.

모사 부식 환경에서 플라즈마 아크용사에 의한 Al 코팅의 부식특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Corrosion Behavior of Al Coatings Applied by Plasma Thermal Arc Spray under Simulated Environmental Conditions)

  • 건설산업에서 사용되는 구조용 강재의 부식은 산업화로 인해 많은 공격적인 이온이 내포된 대기 환경에서 증가추세에 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 아크 및 플라즈마 아크용사로 Al 코팅을 용착하여 Cl-와 CO32-같은 공격적인 이온을 다량 함유한 Society of Automotive Engineering(SAE) J2334 용액의 모사대기환경에서 그 효과를 비교하였다. 다양한 분석기법으로 코팅 특성과 부식 메커니즘을 고찰하였다. 플라즈마 아크용사로 용착된 Al 코팅은 밀도 있고 균일하면 층층이 적층이 잘 되었고 높은 부착력이 나타났다. 이 공법으로 용착된 Al 코팅을 SAE J2334 용액에 기간별로 침지하여 측정한 개회로전위(OCP)는 아크용사로 용착된 Al 코팅보다 더 양전성(electropositive)한 값을 보여주었다. 플라즈마 아크용사는 총 임피던스가 아크용사보다 높게 나타났다. SAE J2334 용액에 23일 침지하였을 때 플라즈마 아크용사 Al 코팅의 부식속도는 아크용사에 비해 20% 감소하였다.
