Malthus를 이용한 원유(原乳)내의 총균수, 대장균군수, 저온성균수 측정 (The Conductance Determination of Total, Coliform and Psychrotrophic bacteria Counts in Raw Milk by Using Malthus)

  • 본 실험은 원유내외 세균을 빠르고, 일관성있고, 신뢰성이 있는 평가 system을 얻기 위함이며, 원유 내외 총균수와 저온성균수, 대장균군수를 malthus의 detection time과 regression equation과 상관관계를 조사하였다. Conductance method는 종래의 plate count method보다빠르고 자동적이며, 노동력을 최대한 절감할 수 있다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. Conductance detection time을 (Y), total bacterial log count를 (X)라고 할 때 regression equation Y=18.27651-2.07550X, 상관계수는 -0.95(n=201)로 나타났다. 2. Conductance detection time을 (Y), total bacterial log counts를 (X)라고 할때 regression equation Y=9.32048-1.15598X, 상관계수는 -0.90(n=207)로 나타났다. 3. Conductance dotection time을 (Y), psychrotrophic bacterial log counts를 (X)라 할때 regression equation Y=29.96008-3,02487X 상관계수는 -0.90(n=201)로나타났다.

Molecular Emission Spectrometric Detection of Low Level Sulfur Using Hollow Cathode Glow Discharge

  • A highly sensitive detecting method has been developed for determining part per billion of sulfur in $H_2S$/Ar plasma. The method is based on the excitation of Ar/$H_2S\;or\;Ar/H_2S/O_2$ mixture in hollow cathode glow discharge sustained by radiofrequency (RF) or 60 Hz AC power and the spectroscopic measurement of the intensity of emission lines from electronically excited $S_2^*\;or\;SO_2^*$ species, respectively. The RF or AC power needed for the excitation did not exceed 30 W at a gas pressure maintained at several mbar. The emission intensity from the $SO_2^*$ species showed excellent linear response to the sulfur concentration ranging from 5 ppbv, which correspond to S/N = 5, to 500 ppbv. But the intensity from the $S_2^*$ species showed a linear response to the $H_2S$ only at low flow rate under 20 sccm (mL/min) of the sample gas. Separate experiments using $SO_2$ gas as the source of sulfur demonstrated that the presence of $O_2$ in the argon plasma is essential for obtaining prominent $SO_2^*$ emission lines.

광학 위성 영상 기반 선박탐지의 정확도 개선을 위한 딥러닝 초해상화 기술의 영향 분석 (Impact Analysis of Deep Learning Super-resolution Technology for Improving the Accuracy of Ship Detection Based on Optical Satellite Imagery)

  • 광학 위성 영상의 공간해상도가 낮게 되면 크기가 작은 객체들의 경우 객체 탐지의 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 위성 영상의 공간해상도를 향상시키는 초해상화(Super-resolution) 기술이 객체 탐지 정확도 향상에 대한 영향이 유의미한지 알아보고자 하였다. 쌍을 이루지 않는(unpaired) 초해상화 알고리즘을 이용하여 Sentinel-2 영상의 공간해상도를 3.2 m로 향상시켰으며, 객체 탐지 모델인 Faster-RCNN, RetinaNet, FCOS, S2ANet을 활용하여 초해상화 적용 유무에 따른 선박 탐지 정확도 변화를 확인했다. 그 결과 선박 탐지 모델의 성능 평가에서 초해상화가 적용된 영상으로 학습된 선박 탐지 모델들에서 Average Precision (AP)가 최소 12.3%, 최대 33.3% 향상됨을 확인하였고, 초해상화가 적용되지 않은 모델에 비해 미탐지 및 과탐지가 줄어듦을 보였다. 이는 초해상화 기술이 객체 탐지에서 중요한 전처리 단계가 될 수 있다는 것을 의미하고, 객체 탐지와 더불어 영상 기반의 다른 딥러닝 기술의 정확도 향상에도 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A 1.248 Gb/s - 2.918 Gb/s Low-Power Receiver for MIPI-DigRF M-PHY with a Fast Settling Fully Digital Frequency Detection Loop in 0.11 ㎛ CMOS

  • This paper presents a 1.248 Gb/s - 2.918 Gb/s low-power receiver MIPI-DigRF M-PHY with a fully digital frequency detection loop. MIPI-DigRF M-PHY should be operated in a very short training time which is $0.01{\mu}s$ the for HS-G2B mode. Because of this short SYNC pattern, clock and data recovery (CDR) should have extremely fast locking time. Thus, the quarter rate CDR with a fully digital frequency detection loop is proposed to implement a fast phase tracking loop. Also, a low power CDR architecture, deserializer and voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) are proposed to meet the low power requirement of MIPI-DigRF M-PHY. This chip is fabricated using a $0.11{\mu}m$ CMOS process, and the die area is $600{\mu}m{\times}250{\mu}m$. The power consumption of the receiver is 16 mW from the supply voltage of 1.1 V. The measured lock time of the CDR is less than 20 ns. The measured rms and peak jitter are $35.24ps_{p-p}$ and $4.25ps_{rms}$ respectively for HS-G2 mode.

Alizarin Red S modified electrochemical sensors for the detection of aluminum ion

  • Alizarin Red S modified screen printed carbon electrodes were developed for the electrochemical detection of aluminum ion. The electrodes developed use screen-printed carbon electrodes(SPCEs) coupled with chemical modification with an organic chelator, Alizarin Red S(ARS), for aluminum ion detection in aqueous solution. For sensor fabrication ARS was directly immobilized on the surface of SPCEs using PVA-SbQ(The poly(vinyl alcohol) bearing stryrylpyridinium groups). Aluminum concentrations were indirectly estimated by amperometric determination of the non-complexed ARS immobilized on the electrodes, after its complexation with aluminum. The sensitivity of the sensor developed was $3.8\;nA{\mu}M^{-1}cm^{-2}$ and the detection limit for aluminum was $25\;{\mu}M$.

치아를 이용한 성별검사 및 D1S80 유전좌위의 검색시 4가지 DNA추출방법에 따른 비교 (Comparison of 4 Methods of DNA Extraction for Sex Determination and D1S80 Locus Detection in Teeth)

  • Human genomic Deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA) was extracted from teeth by boiling, salting-out, phenol, boiling-phenol methods. The author compared DNA concentration and its purity, the accuracy of sex determination and the results of the D1S80 locus detection among above 4 methods. The following results were obtained : 1. DNA concentration was the highest in pulp with salting-out method and DNA purity was higher in pulp with salting-out and phenol methods than other 2 methods. 2. Sex determination was possible using of the pulp and the dentin of the teeth with four methods but, it was impossible in the enamel and some pulp with boiling method. 3. Amplification of D1S80 locus occurred from pulp and dentin with salting-out, phenol, and boiling-phenol methods. 4. There are no differences among the amplification of X-Y homologus amelogenin gene by application of 4 methods and salting-out, phenol methods efficiently makes available to amplification of D1S80 locus. From the investigation DNA extraction, sex determination, amplification of D1S80 locus was successfully accomplished with salting-out, phenol, boiling-phenol methods Therefore above 3 methods are available and applicable as forensic odontology for individual identification.

Development of YOLOv5s and DeepSORT Mixed Neural Network to Improve Fire Detection Performance

  • As urbanization accelerates and facilities that use energy increase, human life and property damage due to fire is increasing. Therefore, a fire monitoring system capable of quickly detecting a fire is required to reduce economic loss and human damage caused by a fire. In this study, we aim to develop an improved artificial intelligence model that can increase the accuracy of low fire alarms by mixing DeepSORT, which has strengths in object tracking, with the YOLOv5s model. In order to develop a fire detection model that is faster and more accurate than the existing artificial intelligence model, DeepSORT, a technology that complements and extends SORT as one of the most widely used frameworks for object tracking and YOLOv5s model, was selected and a mixed model was used and compared with the YOLOv5s model. As the final research result of this paper, the accuracy of YOLOv5s model was 96.3% and the number of frames per second was 30, and the YOLOv5s_DeepSORT mixed model was 0.9% higher in accuracy than YOLOv5s with an accuracy of 97.2% and number of frames per second: 30.

  • A parallel flats fraction for the $3^n$ factorial experiment is defined as the union of flats, ${t$\mid$At=C_i(mod 3)}, i=1,2,\cdot,f$, in EG(n,3) and is symbolically written as At=C where A is of rank r. The A matrix partitions the effects into u+1 alias sets where $u=(3^{n-r}-1)/2$. For each alias set the f flats produce an alias component permutation matrix (ACPM) with elements from $S_3$. In this paper, a detection vector of the ACPM was constructed for each combination of k or fewer two-factor interactions. Also the relationship between the detection vectors has been shown.
