드뷔시 필터를 이용한 고속 프레넬릿 변환의 구현 (Implementation of High-Speed Fresnelet Transform using Daubechies's Filter)

  • 차세대 영상 시스템인 디지털 홀로그램을 서비스하기 위해서는 다양한 측면에서 신호처리 기술이 필요하다. 우리가 주로 사용하는 2차원 및 3차원 자연 영상을 처리하는데 있어서 가장 많이 사용되는 영상처리 도구는 변환이다. 디지털 홀로그램의 특성은 자연 영상과 매우 다른 특성을 갖기 때문에 2차원 영상에서 사용되던 변환 도구들을 디지털 홀로그램에 적용하는 것은 효율성이 매우 낮다. 이를 극복하기 위해 프레넬릿 변환이 제안되었는데 본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 기저함수에 유니터리 프레넬 변환을 적용하고 드뷔시 필터를 이용하여 프레넬릿 변환을 유도하였다. 또한 프레넬릿 변환을 디바이스 및 커널 코드를 이용하여 구현하여 동작 성능을 향상시키도록 하였다. 모든 해상도에 대해 한 화소당 소요되는 평균 시간을 기준으로 살펴보았을 때 디바이스 코드를 이용하여 병렬화 연산을 수행하면 (9,7)필터의 경우에는 평균 242배, (5,3)필터의 경우에는 평균 30배의 성능향상을 가져온다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, we establish the convergence of semigroups that are strongly continuous on (0, $\infty$). By using Laplace transform theory, we show some properties of semigroups and the convergence result.

Detection of delamination damage in composite beams and plates using wavelet analysis

  • The effectiveness of wavelet transform in detecting delamination damages in multilayered composite beams and plates is studied here. The damaged composite beams and plates are modeled in finite element software ABAQUS and the first few mode shapes are obtained. The mode shapes of the damaged structures are then wavelet transformed. It is observed that the distribution of wavelet coefficients can identify the damage location of beams and plates by showing higher values of wavelet coefficients at the position of damage. The effectiveness of the method is studied for different boundary conditions, damage location and size for single as well as multiple delaminations in composite beams and plates. It is observed that both discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) can detect the presence and location of the damaged region from the mode shapes of the structures. DWT may be used to approximately evaluate the size of the delamination area, whereas, CWT is efficient to detect smaller delamination areas in composites.

  • Camera Calibration should certain)y be achieved to take an accurate measurement using image system. Calibration is to prove the relation between an measurement object and camera and to estimate twelve internal and external parameters. In this paper, we suggest that an algorithm should estimate the external parameters from the road image and use a vanishing point's character from parallel straight lines in a space. also, we use Hough Transform to estimate an accurate vanishing point. Hough Transform has one of the advantages which is an application for each road environment. we assume a variety of environments to prove the usability of a suggested algorithm and show simulation results with a computer.

  • The WCHF-FSJTC (wavelet circular harmonic function frequency selective joint transform correlator) using th wavelet transformed CHF as the reference image in FSJTC is proposed for rotation invariant pattern recognition. Since the wavelet transform has the property of feature extraction, the proposed system can have the better DC (discrimination cpability) and the higher SNR(signal to noise ratio) compared with the conventional CHF-CJTC(circular harmonic function conventional joint transform correlator). And since the structure of the proposed system is FSJTC which can eliminate auto-correlation and cross-correlation between input images, it can eliminate false alarm caused by the overlapping among correlation peaks. The used wavelet functio is the morlet function, which is proper for the reference image used in this paper. the optimal dialation parameter and oscillation frequency of the wavelet function are also achieved with varying the parameters of the wavelet function. The computer simulation shows that the proposed system has the best performance when the dilation parameter is 0.8 and the oscillation frequency is 0.48.

  • Huffman, Park and Skoug introduced various results for the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution for functionals on classical Wiener space which belong to some Banach algebra S introduced by Cameron and Strovic. Also Chang, Kim and Yoo extended the above results to an abstract Wiener space for functionals in the Fresnel class F(B) which corresponds to S. Recently Kim, Song and Yoo investigated more generalized relationships between the Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution product for functionals in a generalized Fresnel class $F_{A_1,A'_2}$ containing F(B). In this paper, we establish various interesting relationships and expressions involving the first variation and one or two of the concepts of the Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution product for functionals in $F_{A_1,A_2}$.

  • In this paper, As the wavelet transform has the properties of multi-resolution analysis and time-frequency domain localization, application of wavelet transform is used at partial discharge(PD) signal detected by electromagnetic wave detection method to extract PD signal's various frequency component and its time domain. therefore we can analyzed PD signal's time-frequency domain simultaneously. On the other hand, using wavelet transform denoising process, inclued noise signal in detected PD signal is well elimiated. we can propose the true shape of PD signal.

  • 본 논문은 2-D 물체 정합을 위한 robust oriented Hausdorff measure (ROHM)을 제안하였다. 이 ROHM은 기존의 Hausdorff distance (HD) 알고리듬의 거리 개념을 Hough 변환의 누적기법으로 대치함으로써 제안되었다. 제안한 알고리듬은 distance transform (DT)을 사용하는 변형된 Hough transform으로 생각할 수 있다. 또한 각 화소의 방향각을 사용하여 부적절한 대응관계를 제거하였다. 여러가지 실험영상을 이용한 실험을 통하여 제안한 알고리듬이 기존의 알고리듬들에 비하여 효율적임을 보였다.

  • 본 논문은 전기적 검출법에 의해 측정된 부분방전 신호에 대하여 웨이브렛 변환을 적용하여 각기 다른 주파수 성분을 동시에 추출하고 이들의 시간정보를 얻음으로써 시간과 주파수 영역에서 동시에 해석할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고, 웨이브렛 변환의 노이즈 제거기법을 적용하여 부분방전 측정시에 포함되어 있는 노이즈를 제거하여 잡음제거 효과를 나타내었다.

The Inverse Laplace Transform of a Wide Class of Special Functions

  • The aim of the present work is to obtain the inverse Laplace transform of the product of the factors of the type $s^{-\rho}\prod\limit_{i=1}^{\tau}(s^{li}+{\alpha}_i)^{-{\sigma}i}$, a general class of polynomials an the multivariable H-function. The polynomials and the functions involved in our main formula as well as their arguments are quite general in nature. On account of the general nature of our main findings, the inverse Laplace transform of the product of a large variety of polynomials and numerous simple special functions involving one or more variables can be obtained as simple special cases of our main result. We give here exact references to the results of seven research papers that follow as simple special cases of our main result.
