열환경 챔버 제어를 위한 PID 튜닝기법 연구 (A Study on PID Tuning Technique of a Thermal Environment Chamber)

  • The present study has been conducted to tune a PID controller for large thermal systems such as a thermal environment chamber. In spite of large thermal mass of the thermal chamber under test, its response delay time was found to be negligible mainly due to high air recirculation rate. In general, heating and cooling capacities tend to be small compared the size of a thermal environment chamber, which leads to long transient periods of one hour or so. In the study, a PI tuning method is suggested which makes system responses faster while reducing overshoots and hunting by utilizing efficiently proportional band of actuators.

Wide-Range Sensorless Control for SPMSM Using an Improved Full-Order Flux Observer

  • A sensorless control method was recently investigated in the robot and automation industry. This method can solve problems related to the rise of manufacturing costs and system volume. In a vector control method, the rotor position estimated in the sensorless control method is generally used. This study is based on a conventional full-order flux observer. The proposed full-order flux observer estimates both currents and fluxes. Estimated d- and q-axis currents and fluxes are used to estimate the rotor position. In selecting the gains, the proposed full-order flux observer substitutes gain k for the speed information in the denominator of the gain for fast convergence. Therefore, accurate speed control in a low-speed region can be obtained because gains do not influence the estimation of the rotor position. The stability of the proposed full-order flux observer is confirmed through a root-locus method, and the validity of the proposed observer is experimentally verified using a surface permanent-magnet synchronous motor.

  • The goal of this study is the stability evaluation of a vacuum pump through modal test and rotor dynamics. Roots type vacuum pump, which is a dry vacuum pump, is necessary for the manufacturing process of the semiconductor and the display. Eigenvalue was solved by the finite-element method(FEM) using 2D and 3D models, then the modal test result was compared with the FEM result. According to the comparison, the analysis result using the 2D was more accurate than the 3D model. Therefore, rotor dynamics was performed by the 2D model. Campbell diagram and root-locus maps, which were calculated by complex-eigenvalue analysis, were used to evaluate the stability of the rotors of the vacuum pump. And displacement solved by unbalance response analysis was compared with the minimum clearance between two rotors of the vacuum pump. Thus, the vacuum pump is assumed operated under steady state through the evaluation of the rotor dynamics.

  • The control method of programmable dynamometer for overall test of machine is to load the reference torque which is computed from torque transducer into motor under test. But the torque information detected from torque transducer have a lot of noise when the load torque of meter is a small quantity or changing. Thus, torque transducer must have a low pass filter to detect a definite torque information. But The torque delay generated by filter with torque transducer occur a torque trouble for meter torque of programmable dynamometer. Therefore, this kind of system could not perform dynamic and nonlinear load. In this paper, the control method using the load torque observer without a measure for torque transducer is Proposed. The proposed system improved the problem of the torque measuring delay with torque transducer, and the load torque is estimated by the minimal order state observer based on the torque component of the vector control induction meter. Therefore, the torque controller is not affected by a load torque disturbance. To verify a superiority of the proposed control algorithm, the analysis for a root locus of a conventional control method and the proposed one, and simulation and experiment is performed. Therefore we hope to be extended in industrial application.

  • 본 연구에서는 브러시리스 직류모터의 적합한 수학적 동가 모텔링을 구성하였으며 제어대상 BLOC 모터에 스 웹입력이 있는 상태로 역기전력의 측정에 의한 모터 파라미터를 측정하였다. 그리고 제시된 측정법의 타당성은 스템웅답의 실험결과에 의해서 확인하였다. 또한 훌센서로된 BLOC 모터의 오픈루프 전달함수로부터 얻은 근궤 적법의 결과에 따라 적합한 디지털제어기를 셜계하였으며 속도제어 가변을 위한 제어이득을 결정하였다. 여기서 수정된 Ziegler-Nichols의 동조법은 적합한 디지털 게인 설정을 위해서 적용되었으며 시스템의 안정성은 보드선 도와 실험으로 주파수영역의 해석에 의해서 입증하였다.

  • Power system stabilizer act efficiently to damp the electromechanical oscillations in interconnected power systems. This paper presents an algorithm for the optimal parameter selection of a power system stabilizer in two-area power systems with a series HVDC link. This method is one of the classical techniques by allocating properly pole-zero positions to fit as closely as desired the ideal phase lead between the voltage reference and the generator electrical power and by changing the gain to produce a necessary damping torque over the matched frequency range. Control of HVDC converter and inverter are used a constant current loop. Proper parameters of PI controllers are obtain based on the Root-locus technique in other to have sufficient speed and stability margin to cope with charging reference values and disturbance. The small signal stability arid transient stability studies using the PSS parameters obtained from this method show that a natural oscillation frequency of the studycase system is adequately damped. Also the simulation results using the HVDC converter and inverter parameters obtained from this proposed method show proper current control characteristics. The simulation used in the paper was performed by the Power System Toolbox software program based on MATLAB.

So developing 3-stage water injection pump at the domestic company. A variety of mathematical analysis during the detailed design analysis was not made through the dynamics characteristic. In this paper, a 2D finite element analysis is performed through the dynamics of the present study was the validation of the model.

  • 본 연구에서는 유연 외팔 구조물의 내부에 유체를 흐르게 함으로써 구조물의 진동을 억제시키는 방법을 제안한다. 안정성 해석과 동적 응답은 유한 요소법에 기초를 두었다. 근 궤적 선도에 있어서 플러터 한계와 최적 안정화 유속을 결정하였다. 진동의 감쇠를 관찰하기 위하여 모드 중첩법이 사용되었다. 시스템의 내부 흐름에 의한 안정화 효과는 구조물의 내부 감쇠를 무시한 경우와 포함한 경우의 임펄스 응답을 통하여 분석하였다. 내부 흐름은 기체의 경우보다도 액체의 경우가 더 큰 안정화 효과가 있다는 결론을 얻어냈다.

  • 본 논문은 백스텝핑 설계기법을 이용하여 BLDC 전동기의 위치 및 속도, 전류제어를 위한 제어기 설계방법을 제안한다. 또한, 전체 시스템을 안정화하며 추종성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 적절한 제어이득을 설정하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 제어기를 120W급의 BLDC 전동기에 적용하여 위치, 속도 및 전류 레퍼런스를 추종하는 능력을 시뮬레이션 시험하였다. 설계된 제어기가 정상상태의 오차가 1% 이내를 가짐으로 상태 추종 성능에 대해 유용한 제어기임을 보일 수 있었다.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy logic gain scheduling method for depth controller of the AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). Gains of depth controller are calculated by using multi-loop root locus technique. Fuzzy logic based gain scheduling approach is used to modify multi-loop gains as control condition. It is illustrated by simulations that the proposed fuzzy logic gain scheduling method yields smaller rising time and overshoot compared to the fixed-gain controller. Finally, being implemented on real hardwares, all the proposed algorithms are validated with integrations of hardware and software altogether by HILS.
