고농도 산소 공급에 따른 젊은 성인 남자의 공간지각 능력 변화 (Visuospatial Cognitive Performance Following Oxygen Administration in Healthy Young Men)

  • Oxygen is an essential element for human beings' physical and mental activities, and in particular, plays an important role in brain functions. The present study attempted to investigate the effects of supply of highly concentrated (30%) oxygen on human ability of visuospatial cognition, compared to air of normal oxygen concentration (21%). This study sampled eight male university students (the average age: 23.5) as subjects. An equipment that supplies 21% and 30% oxygen at a constant rate of 8L/min was developed. Two types of questionnaire containing 20 questions were developed to measure the ability of visuospatial cognition, and accuracy and reaction time were calculated from the result of task performance. The average accuracy was $50.63{\pm}8.63$ [%] and $62.50{\pm}9.64$[%] for 21%and 30% oxygen respectively, and a statistically significant difference was found in the accuracy between the two types of oxygen. The average reaction time was $6.60{\pm}O.77$ [sec] and $7.23{\pm}0.69$ [sec] for 21%and 30% oxygen respectively, and a statistically significant difference was not found in the reaction time. The results showed that there is no difference in the average reaction time but the average accuracy rises with the supply of highly concentrated (30%) oxygen, indicating that the supply of highly concentrated oxygen has a partially positive effect on the ability of visuospatial cognition.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate how students generalize and prove the factoring of $x^n-1$ using a Computer Algebra System application and the role of CAS in this process. The theoretical framework consists of the anthropological and the instrumental approach. In particular, the basis of the Task-Technique-Theorization(T-T-T) frame adapted form Chevallard's anthropological approach of Didactics is utilized. We found that Technique-Theorization emerges in mutual interaction between paper-and-pencil techniques and computer algebra techniques. And this interaction led to the students' theoretical reflection and conceptual understanding. In this process, we could identify three epistemic role of CAS : the role of checking the result, the role of cognitive stimulation and the role of extending thinking. Therefore CAS plays on a epistemic role of checking the result of a task, stimulating the student' cognition and extending their thinking as well as pragmatic role of producing the result of a input.

소비가치와 소비자의 인지욕구가 온라인 쇼핑 웹사이트에 대한 신뢰성을 매개로 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Consumption Value and Consumers' Need for Cognition on Satisfaction through the Mediating Role of Trust in Online Shopping Websites)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 쇼핑 웹사이트에 대한 소비자의 만족도가 과거와는 다른 현상으로 변화됨을 확인하고자 한다. 즉, 팬데믹 이후 전 세계적으로 이커머스(e-commerce)의 이용이 확대되고, 모바일커머스, 소셜커머스 등 다양한 형태의 커머스가 형성화되는 상황에서, 소비자의 정보처리과정과 의사결정과정은 소비자가 지각하는 소비가치와 개인적 특성에 따라 새로운 환경에 의해 소비자의 지각된 동기수준에 기반하여 변화된 행동을 살펴보는데 연구의 의의가 있다. 즉, 소비가치와 소비자의 인지욕구가 웹사이트에 대한 신뢰성의 매개역할로 온라인 웹사이트의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 조사하고자 한다. 가설 1을 검증한 결과 웹사이트에 대한 소비자의 감각적 가치뿐 아니라 실용적 가치는 웹사이트의 만족도에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치며, 특히 실용적 가치가 상대적으로 감각적 가치보다 더 큰 영향력을 나타냈다. 다만, 소비자의 인지욕구와 만족도 간에는 부(-)의 관계를 단측검증 하에 유의한 수준으로 나타났다. 가설 2에서는 2-1인 소비가치 중 실용적 가치 만이 웹사이트에 대한 신뢰성을 매개로 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 나타냈다. 웹사이트의 만족도에 소비가치 중 실용적 가치가 중요한 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이전 연구결과와는 다르게 소비가치가 감각, 감정에 기반하는 가치뿐 아니라 실용적 소비가치가 더 큰 영향력을 가졌다는 점이 본 연구의 의의라 하겠다. 따라서 소비자가 이용하는 웹사이트의 신뢰성을 기반으로 매개역할을 한다면 실용적 가치와 인지욕구가 만족도에 더욱 강하게 영향력을 주는 것이다. 이러한 연구결과는 온라인으로 소비를 하게 된 현 시장의 트렌드가 반영된 결과이며, 본 연구결과를 통해 소비자의 행동 이해와 주요 요인들을 기반으로 온라인 웹사이트의 관리 및 운영 전략에 도움이 되리라 본다.

고급사고력 신장을 위한 역할놀이 교수-학습 모형 개발에 관한 현장 연구 (The Development of a Role Play Instruction Model to Increase Higher- order Thinking Ability in Geographical Education)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지리과에서의 고급사고력 신장을 위한 교수-학습 모형 개발을 개발하고 현장에 적용해 보는 것이다. 논문의 목적을 달성하기 위해 고급사고력 신장과 관련된 문헌을 검토하고 고급사고력신장에 있어서 역할놀이의 교육적 의의와 활용에 대해 논의하였다. 고급사고력은 새로운 상황에 직면했을 때 독창적으로 문제를 해결하려고 하는 정신작용으로, 본고에서는 고급사고력을 문제해결과 의사결정능력, 창의적 사고, 비판적 사고, 메타인지로 구분하였다. 다양한 교수-학습 모형의 적용을 통하여 학생들은 창의적 사고, 비판적 사고, 문제해결과 의사결정능력, 메타인지 등 고급사고력을 신장시킬 수 있다. 본고에서는 고급사고력 신장을 위한 교수-학습 모형 중 하나로 역할놀이를 10학년 사회교과서 중 환경관련 단원 (IV. 환경문제와 지역문제)을 사례로 개발하였다. 개발한 역할놀이 교수-학습 모형을 서울시내 고등학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 현장에 적용하였다. 역할놀이에 참여한 학생들은 주어진 지리적 문제 상황에 맞는 역할극을 실연해 보고 관찰한 것을 바탕으로 서로의 예측 결과를 공유하고 토론하고 일반화함으로써 문제해결과 의사결정, 창의적 사고, 비판적 사고, 메타인지 등 고급사고력을 신장시킬 수 있고 가치관, 태도 등 기능적$\cdot$정의적 영역도 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • Human cognition and decision-making related to information systems (IS) is a major area of interest in IS research. Among these areas, cognitive bias rooted in behavioral economics is gaining considerable attention from researchers. In the present study, we identify the role of cognitive biases and discuss how they shape the information security behavior. We also seek research opportunities to provide directions and implications for future research.

Cognitive dysfunctions in individuals with diabetes mellitus

  • Some patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) present with cognitive dysfunctions. The pathophysiology underlying this complication is not well understood. Type 1 DM has been associated with a decrease in the speed of information processing, psychomotor efficiency, attention, mental flexibility, and visual perception. Longitudinal epidemiological studies of type 1 DM have indicated that chronic hyperglycemia and microvascular disease, rather than repeated severe hypoglycemia, are associated with the pathogenesis of DM-related cognitive dysfunction. However, severe hypoglycemic episodes may contribute to cognitive dysfunction in high-risk patients with DM. Type 2 DM has been associated with memory deficits, decreased psychomotor speed, and reduced frontal lobe/executive function. In type 2 DM, chronic hyperglycemia, long duration of DM, presence of vascular risk factors (e.g., hypertension and obesity), and microvascular and macrovascular complications are associated with the increased risk of developing cognitive dysfunction. The pathophysiology of cognitive dysfunction in individuals with DM include the following: (1) role of hyperglycemia, (2) role of vascular disease, (3) role of hypoglycemia, and (4) role of insulin resistance and amyloid. Recently, some investigators have proposed that type 3 DM is correlated to sporadic Alzheimer's disease. The molecular and biochemical consequences of insulin and insulin-like growth factor resistance in the brain compromise neuronal survival, energy production, gene expression, plasticity, and white matter integrity. If patients claim that their performance is worsening or if they ask about the effects of DM on functioning, screening and assessment are recommended.

  • This study aims to discuss the characteristics on marketing distribution of landscape materials after consideration in the side of cognition on the present condition of marketing which is important factors for analysis in understanding the market of landscape materials. To do this, the investigation of marketing distribution are to collect data refer to purchases and sales reports and questionnaires, these results are used to analyzed the operative factor of forming market structure and problematic, improvement spot of marketing distribution. The periodic range of this paper is limited on 609 landscape materials and examination was performed from 21.Feb. to 15.Mar, in 2002. The results of the whole prices trends and marketing distribution survey can be summarized as follows : 1. Differences of cognition on marketing distribution among four group toward problematic spot on product and marketing of landscape materials was summarized as follows : 1) Group of landscape design : Interest of government, Various articles. 2) Group of landscape construction : Communication of marketing information, Role of intermediary ecc. 3) Group of landscape materials and cooperation between company and university : Interest of government ecc, 2. Differences of cognition on marketing distribution among four group toward improvemental spot on product and marketing of landscape materials was summarized as follows : 1) Group of landscape design and construction : Network of marketing distribution on landscape materials, Criterion of articles, Quality adiministration through establishment of sale level ecc.. 2) Group of landscape materials : Employment of specialist education program ecc.. 3) Group of cooperation between company and university : Conscious reformation of comsumer ecc.

효과적 방향인지를 위한 유도사인에 관한 연구 -3차원 공간에서의 2차원적 방향표식을 중심으로 (Effective directional signs for the clear cognition of directions -2-D expression of directional sighs in 3-D spaces)

  • 공공시설물에서의 사인은 정확한 의미전달을 목적으로 하고 있다. 특히 유도사인의 경우는 우리 주위환경과 루트를 적절히 표시하고 인식시키면서 우리의 행위를 유도해 주고 있다. 그런데 현재의 유도사인은 3차원적 공간의 방향을 2차원적 관점에서 보여주고 있는 것이 대부분으로, 이는 실제의 3차원 공간 속을 이동할 때 혼란을 유발시키는 한 요인으로 간주된 다. 따라서, 본 연구는 현재의 유도사인의 역할을 재 검토해보고 시지각적 측면에서 효율적인 유도사인의 방향을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 우선, 본 논문에서는 지하철역을 대상으로 한 의식조사를 통해 이용자의 유도사인에 대한 인지적 태도를 알아보았다. 그 결과, 현재 이용되는 역의 유도 사인은 방향정보 전달의 기능이 제대로 수행되고 있지 않으며, 특히 화살표의 표현방법이 재고되어야 함을 시사해 주고 있다. 본 연구는 인간의 공간 인지적 메카니즘을 토대로, 방향 정보 전달에 있어 현행의 2차원적 화살표 표현의 문제점을 고찰한다. 이러한 새로운 모색은 효율적인 유도사인의 구축에 도움이 되리라 생각된다.

초등학교 6학년의 부정적 인지과정.분노 경험.공격성 간의 관계 (The Relations Between The 6th Graders' Negative Cognitive Process.Anger Experience.Aggressiveness)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the relations between 6th graders' negative cognitive process and anger experience and aggressiveness. To achieve the goal, it conducted a test to examine children's negative cognitive process, anger experience, aggressiveness targeting 100 children of 6th grade in C elementary school, Gyeonggj province. Then it conducted SPSS 12.0 statistical program to get the results of correlation analysis and regression analysis. The outcomes were as follows. First, there was a meaningfully positive relation between a negative cognitive process and anger experience. In other words, children having more negative cognitive process seemed to experience the feelings of anger more often, this presented the important role of cognition while getting into a temper Second, it reported a positive relation between anger experience and aggressiveness. Children who have experienced anger more often showed more violent behaviors, especially there were more significant positive relations between trait-anger and aggressiveness compared to state-anger and aggressiveness. This could explain some possibilities that children with high level of trait-anger might outrage more often than others by recognizing the situations as anger stimulants. Third, when conducting a regression analysis, a negative cognitive process made an effect on anger experience which affected aggressiveness. However, it did not show a negative cognitive process making a direct effect on aggressiveness. This is considered that children could experience an anger while evaluating an event or object in a negative way based on individual belief, and emotional linguistic behavioral aggressiveness would be formalized as they express the sparked fury either internally or externally. In conclusion, this study proved that there were close relations between children's negative cognitive process and anger experience and aggressiveness. A negative cognitive process affects anger experience, and anger experience affects aggressiveness afterwards. A negative cognitive process affects aggressiveness through anger experience indirectly, and especially trait-anger among anger experience is the main factor to influence on aggressiveness. With consideration of these results, it is believed that mediation is important key to moderate the negative cognition and trait-anger in order to diminish children's aggressive behaviors. This study has a meaning to provide searching for manifold mediating methods between negative cognition and trait anger, with a fundamental resource.
