Embedding DC Digital Watermarking in the DCT (DCT의 DC 계수에 워터마크 삽입하는 디지털 워터마킹)

  • In this paper, we proposed DC term embedding digital watermarking in the DCT domain. We computed a 8${\times}$8 block DCT The watermark signal is composed of a random number sequence of length 1000, which obeys normal distribution with zero mean and unit variance N(0,1). We embedded watermark signal in DC term for small watermark signal, the other watermark signal embedded in the largest AC coefficients. Experiment show that the invisibility and robust of the proposed method better than those of the conventional methods.

  • In this paper, we propose a forensic watermarking scheme using temporal differences of video chrominance values. Proposed method has low complexity and good visual quality, which is suitable for traitor tracing of digital cinema. Experimental results show that our forensic watermarking method has good detection performance and is robust to several attacks, such as camcorder recording and video compression.

  • We present a simple method to watermark three-dimensional (3D) triangular meshes that have been generated from the depth data of the Kinect sensor. In contrast to previous methods, which maintain the shape of 3D triangular meshes and decide the embedding place, requiring calculations of vertices and their neighbors, our method is based on selecting one of the coordinate axes. To maintain shape, we use discrete wavelet transform and constant regularization. We know that the watermarking system needs the information to be embedded; we used a text to provide that information. We used geometry attacks such as rotation, scales, and translation, to test the performance of this watermarking system. Performance parameters in this paper include the vertices error rate (VER) and bit error rate (BER). The results from the VER and BER indicate that using a correction term before the extraction process makes our system robust to geometry attacks.

  • In this paper, a new watermarking method for a copy protectionof images is proposed. The proposed method adaptively embeds a watermark in the frequency domain of images using human visual system model. For this purpose, the Just Noticeable Differences(JNDs) of each frequency coeffeicient value of a luminance plane is first found using Watson and Solomon's visual system model. An invisible maximum watermark value with is different in every position according to the characteristics of images is determined usig JND and Minkowski metric. A low frequency domain is divided into two sets based on a PN-sequence to protect thewatermark from the attack. The watermarks are added to one set of coefficients and detecting a watermark, the difference between the mean values of absolute coefficient values of both sets is calculated. The embedded watermark is tested using statistical hypothesis based on test static dertermined by the ean difference. To demonstrate the perfromance of the proposed method, the new watermarking method is applied to a high frequency image and low frequency images. Experimenatal results show the watermark is invisible and robust to JPEGlossy compression and noise.

High Embedding Capacity and Robust Audio Watermarking for Secure Transmission Using Tamper Detection

  • Robustness, payload, and imperceptibility of audio watermarking algorithms are contradictory design issues with high-level security of the watermark. In this study, the major issue in achieving high payload along with adequate robustness against challenging signal-processing attacks is addressed. Moreover, a security code has been strategically used for secure transmission of data, providing tamper detection at the receiver end. The high watermark payload in this work has been achieved by using the complementary features of third-level detailed coefficients of discrete wavelet transform where the human auditory system is not sensitive to alterations in the audio signal. To counter the watermark loss under challenging attacks at high payload, Daubechies wavelets that have an orthogonal property and provide smoother frequencies have been used, which can protect the data from loss under signal-processing attacks. Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm has demonstrated adequate robustness against signal processing attacks at 4,884.1 bps. Among the evaluators, 87% have rated the proposed algorithm to be remarkable in terms of transparency.

  • In this paper we propose a new watermarking scheme using a data matrix and a cryptograph key. The data matrix of two-dimensional bar codes is a new technology capable of holding relatively large amounts of data compared to the conventional one-dimensional bar code. And a cryptograph key is used to prevent a watermark from malicious attacks. We encoded the copyright information into a data matrix bar code, and it was spread as a pseudo random pattern using the owner key. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme has good quality and is robust to various attacks, such as JPEG compression, filtering and resizing. Also the performance of the proposed scheme is verified by comparing the copyright information with the information which is extracted from the watermark.

  • This paper presents a blind video watermarking algorithm that has the robustness against spatial, temporal, and SNR scalability and transcoding for the copyright protection of video contents in heterogeneous multimedia service. The proposed process of watermark embedding and detecting is accomplished on base layer for considering spatial scalability. The watermark consists of the string and the ordering number of string for considering temporal scalability. Thus, each of frames has the bitstream of one character and a ordering number of its character. To robust against FGS, the proposed algorithm quantizes low and middle frequency coefficients in ROI region of each of frames and embeds its watermark bitstream into the specific bits of the quantized coefficients. Experimental results verified that the proposed algorithm satisfies the invisibility of watermark and also has the robustness against spatial scalability, temporal scalability and FGS.

  • DNA watermarking have been interested for both the security of private genetic information or huge DNA storage information and the copyright protection of GMO. Multimedia watermarking has been mainly designed on the basis of frequency domain, such as DCT, DWT, FMT, and so on, for the robustness and invisibility. But a frequency domain watermarking for coding DNA sequence has a considerable constraint for embedding the watermark because transform and inverse transform must be performed without completely changing the amino acid sequence. This paper presents a coding sequence watermarking on lifting based DWT domain and brings up the availability of frequency domain watermarking for DNA sequence. From experimental results, we verified that the proposed scheme has the robustness to until a combination of 10% point mutations, 5% insertion and deletion mutations and also the amino preservation and the security.

  • Intellectual property rights are gathering strength theses days. Because digital contents are easily reproduced and distributed by advanced computers and networks. Digital watermarking is one of the best solutions for this problem. Generally, frequency-domain watermarking algorithms are preferred since they are more robust than spatial-domain algorithms. However, coefficients in the frequency domain are floating-point numbers. Thus, it is not easy to manipulate those floating-point coefficients and frequency-domain watermarking algorithms have some limitations in their applications. In order to overcome this difficulty, we employ an integer transform in this paper. In addition, our proposed algerian can extract the watermark from both the spatial and frequency domains. We embed the watermark into a specific bit-plane of mid-frequency coefficients. This is equivalent to the differential energy watermarking (DEW) in the spatial domain. Our simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is imperceptible, good for the watermark payload, and robustness against various attacks. Moreover, it is more efficient than any other algorithm working in only one domain.

  • The watermarking method was suggested to protect the right of the copyright and the right of property, data loss is yes or not, copy prevention and pursuit about the brainchild(music, image, video and so on) in the early 1990. In this paper, we suggest the watermarking algorithm against the geometrical transformation of the medical images applied the Watershed algorithm. The robust watermarking methodology is being suggested using the several algorithm against the attacks such as compression, filtering, noise and geometrical transformation of the medical image.
