The automation and control of robotic welding process is a very complex assignment because the system is affected by a number of variables which are very difficult to determine or predict in practice. Not only the optimization of the robotic welding process is considered from the point of view of the time and the cost of manufacturing. as well as quality of the weldment. the human factors of the production and many other factors must taken into consideration. hi order to determine the optimal parameters of robotic welding process, it is necessary to build a computer model representing all parameters influencing the welding process as well as the mutual dependence between them. This paper presents an approach to modeling the robotic welding process in which all parameters affecting the welding process are included using a neural network. A detailed analysis of the simulation results has been carried out to evaluate the proposed neural network model.
The problems occurred when developing a automatic wheel deburring system are to make effective flexibility in model change and the irregularity of the position/shape of the burr, to select optimal robotic manufacturing process and to develope optimal end effector. The locations where burr exists are on flange, rim and spoke. Here will be discussed the optimal solution for the removal of rim burr by using robot. The research can be summarized as the automatic robot path generation by recognizing rim contour and automatic deburring process technique. Various rim contour data is generated automatically when the sensor which is fixed to robot is moving with the parallel motion to the wheel center axis and this generated data is transferred to the data storage system and converted to the robot path data. The robotic tool system which is suitable to the rim deburring process is developed by integrating tool, compliance function and sensor. And factory automation system controlled by robot controller and PC is developed. This system shows good productivity and flexibility.
As the realization of the 4th industrial revolution is approaching, the paradigm of the corporate work environment is changing to digital, from the traditional work environment. In particular, technologies like RPA(robotic process automation) and chatbot reduce the need for human labor or task by automating simple repetitive tasks, enabling humans to focus on more valuable tasks. In this study, corporates operating expense management services in public cloud computing environments develop a cloud module that simplifies expense report management by grafting robotic process automation and chatbot technology. According to the result of the expert evaluation, the developed system marked 80.3% of satisfaction levels and the highest satisfaction level 94% was confirmed in terms of easy of use. Based on the research result, future research can be suggested to expand the works occurring inside and outside the company to a single RPA environment by additionally linking the work system related to expense management.
In recent years, construction projects have been forced to cope with lack of skilled labor and increasing hazard circumstance of human operations. A construction robotic system has been frequently accomplished as one alterative for overcoming these difficulties in increasing construction quality, enhancing productivity, and improving safety. However, while the complexity of such a system increases, there are few ways to carry out an assessment of the system. This paper introduces a knowledge-based multi-criteria decision-making process to assist decision makers in systematically evaluating an automated system for a given project and quantifying its system performance index. The model employs linguistic terms and fuzzy numbers in attempts to deal with the vagueness inherent in experts' or decision makers' subjective opinions, considering the contribution resulted from their knowledge on a decision problem. As an illustrative case, the system, called Robotic-based Construction Automation, for constructing steel erection of high-rise buildings was applied into this model. The results show the model's capacities and imply the application to other extended types of construction robotic systems.

The robotic $CO_2$ welding is a manufacturing process to produce high quality joints for metal and it could provide a capability of full automation to enhance productivity. Despite the widespread use in the various manufacturing industries, the full automation of the robotic $CO_2$ welding has not yet been achieved partly because the mathematical model for the process parameters of a given welding task is not fully understood and quantified. Several mathematical models to control welding quality, productivity, microstructure and weld properties in arc welding processes have been studied. However, it is not an easy task to apply them to the various practical situations because the relationship between the process parameters and the bead geometry is non-linear and also they are usually dependent on the specific experimental results. Practically, it is difficult, but important to know how to establish a mathematical model that can predict the result of the actual welding process and how to select the optimum welding condition under a certain constraint. In this research, an attempt has been made to develop an intelligent algorithm to predict the weld geometry (top-bead width, top-bead height, back-bead width and back-bead height) as a function of key process parameters in the robotic $CO_2$welding. To achieve this above objective, Taguchi method was employed using five different process parameters (tip gap, gas flow rate, welding speed, arc current, welding voltage) as a guide for optimization of process parameters.
Due to the advance of artificial intelligence, wide use of RPA(Robotic Process Automation) became inevitable. The purpose of this study is to seek cost management optimization based on RPA which has automatic collection of cost information, timeliness and flexibility. The cost management system based on RPA will be able to optimize and improve the cost management process through the cross-system of cost information recognition and the cloud platform. Following the review of previous researches on the benefit of the RPA-related technology along with the investigation on the problems of current cost management system, this study will suggest a way to adopt RPA to optimize cost management system for the implement of strategic management accounting to support management decision making.

Government agencies and companies are establishing and promoting digital transformation strategies in various industrial fields, and are leading the era of the 4th industrial revolution through successful technological innovation. In this time of change, we can see many stories of global companies Nike and Starbucks as successful examples of digital transformation. These two companies are showing successful results through digital transformation. Domestic companies are also conducting digital innovation based on mobile, cloud, IoT, artificial intelligence, and AR/VR technologies, and are establishing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) processes for high efficiency and high productivity. In this paper, we introduce the 3D digital twin space construction automation process technique using data from the entire construction cycle of design, construction, and maintenance of the construction industry, and look into the digital transformation strategy of the construction industry in the future.

Construction automation and robotics are being taken notice as an alternative to improve productivity and quality. Reflecting on these purpose, automation system, called RCA(Robotic-crane based Construction Automation) system, is developed and have been verified through a pilot project recently in Korea. To apply the RCA system in high-rise building effectively, each management factors of element technologies in the system is derived and assessed critical factor. The purpose of this study, management factors of element techniques, consisted of RCA system, is classified through questionnaires/interviews targeting system developers and construction managers in pilot project site, and critical factors is selected using AHP.
