The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of SW education using robot based on card coding on learning motivation and attitude of elementary school students. To do this, we conducted 8-hour SW education based on the CT concept of sequence, repetition, event, and control using the Truetrue, which is coded by command card for the 3rd grade of elementary school students. For the experiment, we examined the learning motivation for SW education and the attitude toward SW education based on the robot in advance. As a result, the students' motivation to learn SW education showed a statistically significant improvement. In addition, the attitude toward robot-based SW education improved statistically significantly as "good, convenient, interesting, easy, friendly, active, special, understandable, easy, simple". These results are expected to contribute to the expansion of education through various approaches of SW education.

Globally SW education is becoming increasingly important, and the government is preparing for this trend as a mandatory implementation of SW education in the 2015 revised curriculum. However, because the 17 hours of annual education offered in the course of Practical Arts cannot have great educational effects, this study attempted to develop a robot-based SW education program related to other regular subjects. Also in order to verify the effects of the program related to future competencies, problem solving ability and communication ability were selected as key factors. The paired t-test was conducted to examine whether there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. As a result, it was verified that the subject-related SW education program using robots was effective in improving students' problem-solving ability and communication ability. In addition, after the program was completed a survey was conducted, and it was possible to confirm that students could have positive perception on SW education.
The 2015 revised curriculum aims to cultivate creative convergence talent. In this regard, SW education needs to study various convergence education methods to enhance computational thinking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of SW convergence education centered on reading education and robot utilization education to improve computing thinking ability. For this purpose, SW education teaching and learning was designed by combining SW education using card coding-based robots with reading education based on interactive works and reading on the whole work. As a result, the convergence education between reading and SW improved all three areas of the concept, practice, and perspective of computational thinking ability and increased the learner's satisfaction.

The aim of software education is to increase students' Computational Thinking(CT) skills that they can compose problems and provide solutions which can be carried out effectively by information-processing systems. Furthermore, if problem solving situations can provide students with meaningful problem solving opportunities in authentic social contexts, then software education would be more valuable. This study pursued educational robot-based SW convergence education where 4th grade primary students have access to tangible outputs and can engage in authentic problem solving situations working with peers by using robots and programming. In addition, this study investigated the effectiveness of the classes in terms of computational thinking skills and social capabilities(collaborative skills and communication skills). The current study provides educational robot-based SW convergence education cases of a primary school and discusses the effectiveness of the classes in terms of students' computational thinking skills and social capabilities.

The Code Block Based Educational Programming Language(EPL) is the mainstream tool for software education for elementary students. However, Code Block Based EPL has limitations in scalability, even though there are many advantages as an introductory tool for software education. In this study, we searched the approach of SW education using Python, which is a text-based programming language actively used in real industrial field. We developed a learning program and model using Python and applied it to the sixth grade elementary school students for 10 hours. As a result, we found that the robot-based Python learning model had a significant effect on improving students' thinking skills and confirmed the applicability of text-based programming language to elementary school students.

Developing Computational Thinking is getting attention as the importance of SW is emphasized. Also programming education is getting attention, especially, various researches that utilize robot in programming education are being carried out. This study focused on compensating the defects of the prior robot programming education and exploring the way of utilizing web based tool 2.0 while putting emphasis on communication and cooperation. This plan is based on $Gagn{\acute{e}}$ & Briggs nine events of instruction and can be used to implement cooperative learning with the Web 2.0 based tools at every instructional events. Tests for learner's cooperation were done before and after this new plan to evaluate its value. The result proves that this plan had a positive influence on improving learner's cooperative attitude.

In general, it is this variety of learning methods and teaching tools for embedded software development and deployment training. In this paper, I want to take advantage of the smart robot to learn creative problem-solving methods that are required in embedded software engineering education. It analyzes the effect of creative engineering education with the smart robot and presents for RSPM Engineering Embedded SW teaching methods to improve NCS education. Embedded SW engineering education in a more creative and smart robot, EV3 system was utilized to improve SW programming skills. In this paper, we utilize the EV3 system to the parish through the creative RSPM engineering courses through the survey and analysis of the impact level, interests and program skills and influence in embedded SW engineering education propose for successful embedded software programming skills potential.
The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationships among factors affecting teachers' robot-based SW education acceptance in primary school. In addition, this study investigated moderating effects of gender, age, and experience. For this purpose, 171 elementary school teachers participated in this study and structural equation modeling analyses were employed to examine the causal relationships among variables. The result of this study showed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, personal innovativeness had direct effects on attitude. Furthermore, attitude mediated relationships between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, personal innovativeness and intention to use. Third, the moderating effects of experience between perceived usefulness, personal innovativeness and attitude were significant, but gender and age were not significant on all paths. Based on the results of this study, successful teaching practices, cases, and contents should be shared with teachers. Also, continuous supports and differentiated strategies based on experience are needed.
This study attempted to examine the effects of SW education using EPL and coding robots on computing thinking and problem-solving skills among various teaching and learning methods of software education. To this end, a survey was conducted on 350 students from middle schools A and B in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do, and the difference in mean was analyzed through t-verification and one-way analysis of variance in order to investigate the relationship between variables. Based on the research results obtained through this, we will identify the effects, strengths, and weaknesses of SW education using EPL and coding robots, provide basic data and information for efficient teaching and learning methods of SW education, and further suggest better directions in terms of academic and practical aspects.

The national curriculum includes the problem solving process, algorithms, and programming of SW education. The education using robots is one of attractive alternatives for students who have no interest of SW or are poor at programming. We have developed a courseware using robots for SW education based on paper art activities with narrative storytelling to enhance students' creative thinking and problem solving within limitation of class time in schools. We apply the courseware and obtained the result of pre and post-test on the creative problem solving ability of third graders in the elementary school The four factors of creative problem solving have shown significantly increase. In addition, it had an significant effects for understanding robot technology and for learning attitude using robots of SW or programming.
